Exceptional Location!!! Short walk to beach, OKI Pier & restaurants!
3 camere da letto / 2. 5 bagni: 3 regine, 1 set di cuccette, 1 daybed. 4 TV con cavo esteso (grande schermo a schermo piatto in LR), lettore CD / DVD w / sistema home theater dotato di dock I-Pod in LR, DVD / VCR combo in camera da letto. Accesso a Internet e zona salotto all'ultimo piano. Cucina ben attrezzata con grande banco aperto w / sgabelli da bar. La sala da pranzo ha un grande tavolo da sei sedie. L'area soggiorno aperta ha un sacco di posti a sedere con divano e tre singoli. Albero di quercia naturale ombreggiato camera Carolina sulla parte anteriore della casa con tavolo e sedie aggiuntive. Il bagno principale ha una vasca idromassaggio e entrambi i livelli hanno decking per godere all'aperto. Garage unico per auto, tavolo da ping pong e W / D situato al piano terra. We enjoyed our stay. The property was as described and just a short walk to the beach/pier. The home is well maintained and stocked with all the necessities, which made our stay comfortable and fun. We appreciated the information about the island we received from the property owner before our stay. We will stay here again.

This is my family’s second time at this house, and it’s absolutely perfect for our group of four adults and two children! We had additional family members (two adults, two children) staying in a condo nearby and there was more than enough room in common areas for us all to dine and unwind together each evening! We very much enjoyed the screened in patio.
The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from the beach, Oak Island pier, Ruby’s Coffee, Koko Cabana restaurant, and Swain’s Seafood restaurant (we enjoyed them all)! The beach is beautiful and was never crowded during our time on the island.
Southport is a short drive away and we enjoyed the shopping, restaurants, and waterfront park in this quaint, friendly town.
The Whites are great hosts and we once again enjoyed their lovely home! Can’t wait to come back! 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. This property is in the perfect location. Steps away from the beach access and a short drive to everything you need. Also, it accommodates 4 adults well, was clean and comfortable as well. Perfect house in which we’ll use again next year.

Had a great time. The house was perfect. It even smelled good! Love the sun porch, the weather was amazing. We went to sweet treats for ice cream, delicious. Also Castcucci's for honestly the best italian food ever! Location to beach is literally 5 min walk. Easy beach acces too! Would love to stay here again.

The 1st floor has the washer/dryer and 2nd refrigerator. In the garage is the ping pong table and beach items, ie, chairs. No bathroom on this level.
The 2nd floor bedroom was the master with a hallway to adjoining bathroom--with clean and comfortable King size bed.
The two bedrooms on 3rd floor where clean and the beds comfortable--both share the hall bathroom. One bedroom has a King bed, the other bedroom has two bunk beds and a queen size bed.
Walking distance to beach--where the ocean waters were warm and calm. Find a spot under the fishing pier and you won't need to haul a beach umbrella, etc...the pier provides plenty of shade and with close access to the local restaurant for a cold drink or bite to eat.
Outside is a hose to wash off beach sand and beach chairs, etc.
Neighborhood was peaceful and quiet; grocery stores and restaurants located a short drive away.
All in all, it was an enjoyable time that went too fast!

The White’s home had the perfect layout for our family consisting of four adults and two children.
We couldn’t ask for a better location, a quick walk down the block to the beach, Oak Island Pier, adorable Ruby’s Coffee Shop, and Koko Cabana restaurant. My oldest daughter (4 years old) and I enjoyed walking to the coffee shop each morning and sitting on the pier to enjoy our treats. We spent each day at the beautiful beach and enjoyed a drive in the evenings to nearby Southport for dinners (Fishy Fishy, and the Southport Smokehouse were awesome). We also loved the waterfront park in Southport and swinging on the swings. To end each evening, we enjoyed walking down the pier to watch the sunset.
The White’s house was well stocked with the comforts of home, and we enjoyed grilling some steaks, burgers, and hot dogs on the grill when we felt like eating in.
The screened in porch (and outdoor porch) were great at night and we enjoyed breakfast there as well.
Overall, it was a quintessential family beach vacation and the White’s house was just perfect!

This is our second year staying at “A Hideaway in Paradise” as a family and it did not disappoint. The location to the beach is great and a quick easy walk. The house has all the amenities you need for a beach vacation, whether it be to relax in the sunroom or pack up the beach card for a fun day on the beach.Brenda is a great host and makes sure you feel at home.

House was a good size, owners had it stocked with all kinds of things to make the stay more enjoyable. Location to the beach was excellent, just a short easy walk. Quite street, but walking distance to a few food locations. Owners were very quick to respond to communication with us during our stay. Would definitely rent here again.

Wonderful house. Beautifully decorated and everything you could possibly need. I was worried about the distance from the house to the beach (lazy children lol) but it was so much closer than I thought. Lots of close places to walk to eat or shop. This place is def going on my places that I will be back to. The owners were amazing to check in on me too. Thanks so much for sharing your home with me and my family

We really enjoyed this house. We fished in the morning and we could walk to the pier. They had fresh cut flowers waiting on us. They pay attention to the minor details. We would definitely stay there again.

This is our 4th time staying in the White's home and it was another great stay! As always, the home was clean and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It was nice to see a few upgrades including a very comfy king size bed upstairs and laundry baskets in each bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need and the downstairs ping pong table was a hit this year. The home is within walking distance to Oak Island pier, Ruby's Coffee Shop Koko Cabanas, Swain's, Nancy Jo's Bakery and many shops. You can't go wrong with a stay on Keziah Street and with A Hideaway in Paradise.

We so enjoyed our stay. It was within walk-ing distance of the beach, pier, several restaurants and best of all it still felt private and secluded. A great home to rent for a large family or group.

Perfect getaway!
We truly loved our stay. The house was very clean upon our arrival and the beds were already made. We've stayed at several properties that require guests to make the beds and then strip them before check out. It may seem silly to point out something like that but making beds is not some I want to do on vacation. We traveled with 2 teenagers , 2 young adults and 4 adults. We never felt crowded. The location was a short walk to the beach as well as the pier and the kids really liked that there was a coffee shop and ice cream in such close proximity to the house. The Carolina room was definitely a favorite for everyone. Mornings were spent drinking coffee and watching the birds on the feeder, and evenings the kids played cards. Highly recommend!

Best Vacation I Have Taken My Family On At Oak Island!
Throughout the rental process to include the many communication we received, I can testify that what I and my family was lead to believe about the property was 100% correct! The house was amazing and the management team that took care of us exceeded our expectations! These guys and gals are professionals that have integrity and ethical beliefs which explains why they are able to provide great family vacations homes. We, my family, are already planning our next vacation at is Oak Island and we plan on renting this home again if it is available!

Never Disappoints
A Hideaway in Paradise is always the perfect house for my family. We have stayed there on numerous occasions. We love the amenities of the home as well as the Yaupon Beach location. Wonderful neighborhood and steps from the beach. Brenda is always so hospitable and responsive to any questions. I would not hesitate to book again.

Great property, highly recommend!
This property had everything we could ask for. My husband and I went with our 4 girls (19,15,14, 9)…as well as my daughters BF. Even with the size of our party, there was STILL plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The house was in a great location, a very short walk to the beach, and close to all the stores/restaurants on Oak Island. The house is decorated nicely and had everything we needed. Owner was responsive with messages, and checking in was easy. As a Mom who loves the beach, I would highly recommend renting this property ❤️

Awesomeness me home and location
The home is very spacious, clean and organized. The home is in a nice location and close to numerous restaurants and family fun locations. It is located on a more private street, so we didn’t have to worry about a lot of traffic coming and going in front of the home. It has numerous, spacious rooms and our family was able to spread out and have our own space. The kids loved the ping pong table in the garage! We enjoyed going out on the pier and seeing the light house located a couple miles from the house. We stayed here for a week and our family loved every minute of it! We cannot wait to spend another week here next May!

Family Stay
Once again, all we have is positive reviews of our stay. The Whites are wonderful to work with and their home is perfect for our family Christmas getaway. As soon as we walk in the front door we feel like we are returning home. Oak Island has become like our second home and Keziah street is our favorite! We travel with our parents and adult children and we always have enough room for everyone. Anything and everything you could need to fix a meal is right at your fingertips. My favorite part, beside quick access to the pier, is the large dining room table that allows us all to eat together. We look forward to our next stay! Thank you!

It was perfect for what we needed.
Great place. It was so clean and so close to the beach and restaurants. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook our little Thanksgiving meal. I recommend this place. There was plenty of space for two couples and two kids to really spread out.

The Perfect Home for Your Perfect Vacation
This beautiful home was perfect for our October vacation to Oak Island. It is a gorgeous home, and it is very close to the beach. We only had to take a quick walk to get there. We could actually hear the ocean from the deck, and you can see the ocean from the driveway. Everything was clean and well stocked. My grandson loved playing "tennis" (table tennis) with his parents. It was precious. We had a nice selection of streaming services to choose from on the TVs, and we could also watch cable. Everything was so close by... shopping, restaurants, etc. Southport was a short drive away. Overall, it was PERFECT!

I can't say enough good things about our stay. It was seamless from start to finish! The place was beautiful, immaculate, and stocked with everything we needed for the week! The BEST house for a family!
This house is really a gem! Every space was used in the home. At the time of my stay my kids were 5 months, 5, 14, and 15. This house couldn’t have suited our family’s needs better! Everything we needed was provided and so much more! The house was also very clean! I would love to book again with the Whites! They are so easy to work with!
