Una bella casa costruita completato per affittare l'estate del 2011. La casa è di circa. 3000 metri quadrati, con due grandi ponti con vista splendida vista su lago Norris. Con la vista del tramonto sull'acqua aperta e sulle montagne del Cumberland in lontananza, creerai ricordi per tutta la vita. La casa è un open space, costruito come una casa sul lago con grandi finestre e porte che si aprono verso l'acqua ei tramonti.
Quattro camere da letto, con due master camere da letto, uno al piano di sopra e uno al piano inferiore, una camera da letto matrimoniale e un castello stanza crea e invitanti formato per due o tre famiglie. La camera a castello ha due letti matrimoniali e due letti singoli. Abbiamo anche aggiunto (2016), quattro più Doppia letti a castello nel livello inferiore. Abbiamo rimosso la TV a grande schermo dal livello inferiore e aggiunto altri quattro letti matrimoniali. . Servizi; grill a gas, lavatrice / asciugatrice e fuoco buca.

Se ti piace ancora in acque libere, bellissimi alberi e splendida vista, questa casa è per voi. Abbiamo un bacino coperto due scivolare con una grande piattaforma di nuotata (12 x 32). Con la metà coperti, quindi è fantastico se amate il sole o hai bisogno di un po 'd'ombra. Uno slittamento sarà sempre a disposizione per gli affittuari, con spazio per legare altre due barche, se necessario, o scivola sono disponibili nella vicina Sequoia e Whitman Hollow Marinas.

My sister's family and mine, 15 in all stayed at this lovely, family-oriented home for 4 nights at the end of June 2024. There was plenty of space inside & outside for all of us. The owners are gracious hosts and provide you with all the necessities (local information re: marinas, restaurants, shopping, etc. along with a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, refrigerator space and with a large group of us showering we never ran out of hot water). We cooked 3 meals a day each day we were there and had plenty of dishes, pots & pans, utensils, etc. It was perfect! A majority of our time was spent on the dock and in the water. We rented a boat from Whitman Hollow Marina which was fairly close to the property about 15-20 minutes. The way down to the property's dock was steep but doable. I was the oldest (age 55) of the group, the most out of shape and managed it. Everyone had a wonderful time! This home is beautiful and tastefully decorated. All the furnishings and especially the beds were great and very comfortable. We loved our time there and hope to go back again.

Lovely home and friendly host. Lake and view are pretty. Imagine the summer lake life fun is awesome at this location but this locations does have a lot of steep slopes. It is all manageable & come with the location but if you leave the location some car sickness was common. If there was any winter weather there would be no leaving. Warning over. We gathered as a family for Thanksgiving and had a blast. Kitchen had everything we needed along with a kids table and extra cleaning supplies. We mainly stayed at the house since local outings were lacking. Overall host is great house has what you need and pretty views. Since we visited in the Fall we did a lot of outside camp fires as the inside fireplace was not an option during our visit, we didn’t touch the water/ boats so I’m sure much more fun to be had.

The pictures don’t do the property justice. It is prettier in person. The kitchen is very well stocked. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. The patio table is perfect for everyone to eat together with a gorgeous view to go with it. We will definitely be back.

We had the best week at Tom's place. Back hill is steep but very manageable for all ages (4-62) in our party. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and we loved the upper and lower decks. If we weren't on the water we spent all of our time here! Dock is very nice as well! The pictures do this place no justice. All rooms (bedrooms and living space) are very spacious! Tom is a fantastic host and responds very quickly! Hopefully we'll be staying here again!

The home is as advertised. Beautiful, well kept, great location on the lake. We had 4 generations of family stay here during vacation and it was well suited for everyone (ages 3 to 82). And the dock is great for swimming if you have kids. Walk to the lake from the house is steep but manageable. Tom was easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this property to others.

We had a group of 9 ladies. Amazing time! Rented a bot at Whitmans marina, very close by boat. Had a great time just swimming at the dock from the house. Easy check in/out, great communication from owners. Enjoyed every piece of the property porches, fire pit, docks, even the beds were comfy!

House was fantastic and provided a great retreat for the family. Driveway from the road and walkway to the lake are very steep, but common for the area. A handrail along the walkway to the lake could be helpful.

Perfect Norris Vacation Spot
We go to Norris at least once a year and have for many years as a family. In general, all of the houses / condos that we've rented through VRBO have been great, but this one exceeded our expectations. The layout was great for our family which included adults, toddlers, and infants. The location from the highway was a definite plus. The location to the marina (for renting a pontoon boat) was convenient. Tom was so great to work with throughout the entire process. We hope to stay here again and again in the future. Definitely a five star experience.

Great Time at Ray's Place on Lake Norris
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving family gathering at Ray's Place. The home is beautiful, very well equipped, and comfortable. It easily accommodated the 15 members of our family that came together from Kentucky, North Carolina, and Alabama to celebrate the holiday. The home has spectacular views of the lake and nearby mountains. The kids especially enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, where fire wood had been thoughtfully provided. They also had fun playing on the rocky shoreline. As the owner warned, the driveway is very steep. And, as others have observed. the walkway to the fire pit and then down to the shoreline is also very steep. The one addition we would have appreciated is a TV on the lower level.

At night, we took full advantage of the new Weber Genesis grill and best firepit on the lake. If you are lucky enough to find an open date, I recommend that you take advantage and book immediately.

Birthday Season
Our Family of eight had the best weekend celebrating birthdays and wrapping up our summer at Ray’s Place. Clean, homey getaway on a beautiful lake! We brought our jet skis & kayaks and hung out in the lake & on the dock for 3 days! The kitchen & outdoor seating areas were great for meals. Plenty of space for our group while also places to get away & read or nap.. Beds & linens were clean & comfy! Definitely one of our favorite family get togethers!

Our family had a great time at Ray’s Place. The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was large and made cooking for our family a breeze. Everything was very nice about the place. We loved the availability and ease of being able to get onto the outdoor decks for almost every room. We also enjoyed the dock and diving platform. It was nice to have a place to dock our jet skis and and hang out our life jackets.

Big Creek Hillside Lakehouse
Very nice and beautiful house. Five bedrooms and another sleeping area. They had 2 refrigerators and a drink cooler plus a dorm room sized refrigerator on the lower level. Beds were pretty comfortable. Very Clean. Covered dock (1 slip) is very nice with electric and swim platform (not always easy to find). They had the best swim ladder we have ever had at Norris Lake. On main part of lake with clean , deep water. It is not in cove so you do get some big waves at times. Parking for boat and trailor are very difficult due to steep drive. I would suggest leaving trailor at Whitman Marina and put in there. The path to dock is very steep and can be slick when rains. It is better than a lot of places at Norris but a simple rope and post or handrail would help a lot. It was too much for my 6 month pregnant daughter and spouse with bad knees so we just drove to Whitman and had the boat come pick us up and drop us off at dock there when they wanted to go out. The property manager was great to work with.

We had a great visit at Ray’s Place. There was plenty of room for our family in the house, and we enjoyed the fire pit and huge kitchen. The driveway and path to the lake are STEEP, which was tough for our young kids. Tom was very communicative and helpful!

The home is very cozy and inviting from the big open kitchen, to the outside seating areas, large outdoor dining table, and the fire pit is the best we've ever experienced. Being on the lake at night to watch the sunset is just breathtaking. Tom is the most accommodating host we have every had, helping at the last minute to shuffle some stuff around and letting us know if we need to stay over due to snow it was not a problem. The Happiest Place on Earth
Another wonderful weekend spent at Ray's Place. My group of college friends and I make the trip down to Norris each year, and Ray's Place continues to be our favorite spot. The house is clean, well stocked, and has plenty of space to accommodate a large group. Tom is a great host, easy to get ahold of if questions arise and it seems like each time we go down there is a new amenity to make the experience more enjoyable. Already looking forward to our return next fall.

Loved the location. House as perfect, they thought of everything. Girls trip! Everyone had a bed and there was more room to spare. House was very clean and had everything we needed. I’m looking now to see when we could stay again! Highly recommend!

Great lakefront property
This property has everything you need in the kitchen, lots of room for the whole family, and a great covered dock (with a diving board for the kiddos). This house is well appointed with many updates. Mr. Marsh was available to answer any questions we had and the beds were soooo comfortable. Gorgeous view of the lake from either deck made breakfast on the deck worth getting out of bed!!

Great weekend trip Aug 2019
This property did not disappoint! If anything the pictures do not do the house and lake justice. The owner had everything ready for us, by sending us a packet explaining the details of the house and what was available to us as well as directions and where we could buy supplies. He also gave recommendations on marinas and nearby boat ramps. The location of this property on the western side of the lake made it a very short drive from the interstate. The lake was beautiful and even tho we had a boat to ride around in and completely enjoy the lake, we would have had fun just swimming near the dock and jumping off the jumping platform. Very impressed and it made for an excellent weekend!

They have thought of everything!
If you're looking for a vacation spot on Norris Lake, this is a property to consider. Plenty of sleeping space as well as open space upstairs for kids and adults. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly want to use to cook with right down to a crock pot and blender. The lake is beautiful here, with views of the water and mountains. It is quiet and peaceful sitting on either of the two full length decks. The ramp is steep- challenging for elderly or small children - but most everyone can access the dock and water - so that is a fair trade off. One of our favorite nights was spent sitting around the massive fire pit and looking up at the Tennessee stars. They have thought of everything for you here at Ray's Place. We would certainly recommend this home for a relaxing getaway.
