New Well Built Elegant Home on the Water 2 miles to Freeport, 9 to Portland!
Apri la porta ed entra in una grande casa con soffitti alti, efficiente dal punto di vista energetico, affascinante con una meravigliosa vista sull'acqua delle isole, delle barche e del molo della città da ogni finestra. Alla fine della primavera, in estate e all'inizio dell'autunno c'è una grande rampa e un molo di fronte alla casa per il piacere di sedersi e nuotare. La casa ha tre piani, camino, cinque grandi camere da letto più posti letto extra, grande ponte, zona soggiorno-pranzo-cucina aperta, cucina gourmet con elettrodomestici di alta gamma, due forni, lavatrice-asciugatrice a carico frontale in dispensa plus quelli extra al piano inferiore, piano cottura Viking a sei fuochi, molti armadi, calore radiante al piano inferiore.

What a wonderful place to be with 3 generations for a week of family fun. We loved the various gathering places and bedrooms , the views and outdoor spaces were perfect for meals and boating, and I still can’t get over the fabulous kitchen. It was truly a home away from home! ☀️

Overall the house was larger than pictured. Broken glass was on the floor by the back door which one of us stepped on when we arrived.

First time using Vrbo. It was everything our group was looking for in a rental. Throughout our stay everyone repeatedly commented on how it was the perfect house. Plenty of space for us to enjoy it as a group or to peel off for some "alone" time. And loved the bookcases! I would definitely recommend this rental.

Wonderful house on the water with perfect distance either to Portland and south, local to the outlets, or north to the many choices including Harpswell, Booth Bay Harbor or Camden and Acadia and the many stops between.
House is magnificent. Ample room for all sleeping, nice, large bathrooms / towels, awesome kitchen, and the huge great room that sprawled onto the deck overlooking the water was fantastic.

A group of co-workers from across different states got together for team building activities, one of which being cooking a meal together. The kitchen was so large, and so well equipped!
Everyone had a wonderful time, and loved the spaciousness of the house.
We were unable to enjoy the deck as there were brown tail moths in the trees above that were dropping off (no fault of the owner or the home, just unfortunate timing of spring)

The views! Incredible! Wow! The eight Sugarbelles loved this beautiful home on Casco Bay. It’s well built, spacious and was stocked with anything & everything needed for our weekend. We each had our own bed, all which were extremely comfortable. Lots of clean, soft bath towels, however, very few face cloths. No biggie! Most bedrooms did not have a mirror and that’s a must have for eight women! But even with those minor things, we truly loved the place.
We were puzzled by the “tip envelope” in the kitchen, especially with the cleaning fee that was paid before our stay. The home was clean, but there’s room for some improvement.
Overall, we give it a 5 star rating and would love to return in the near future.

We got off to a rough start with a broken keypad. It was absolutely poring and the code did not work to get into the house. After great difficulty with service, we contacted the owner and located a key to get in. The house is beautiful with lots of space. There was plenty of room for six women. The house was close to restaurants and shopping. We had a very nice experience. Our only issue was the cleanliness of the house. I spoke to the owner about it and they acknowledged that there were issues with the cleaners and they were addressing it.

The home is very high quality, well designed and very spacious for our group of 5 couples. Our stay included an ice storm where the area lost power, however to our surprise the home had a whole house generator, so only lost power for maybe 5 seconds. Beautiful view! Looking forward to renting again in December!

The house is situated on the river with amazing views. It’s spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us and could have easily accommodated more. Well appointed kitchen and comfy beds- perfect for our annual getaway.

Our group of friends stayed two nights for a girls weekend. The property was very convenient to Freeport with lovely views of the water. The house had plenty of storage, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and full baths on each floor. Small things, like the location of plugs near bedside tables, made the stay smooth and comfortable. Great for groups.

This spacious and welcoming home provided the perfect base camp during a weekend of family wedding activities. The owner was very accommodating when we needed to add a day. Plenty of room for family to be together, and options for quiet time, whether in the house with the well stocked library or on the dock down by the water. Convenient to Freeport, there's a great gourmet market and coffee shop just a mile away. Sunrise over water was amazing. Highly recommend.

Everything was fabulous. 9 beautiful women enjoying a weekend away from their families. Shopping, eating, drinking, playing games and relaxing. The house did not disappoint. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accomodate everyone.

A very elegant property, with everything you need! This was our second year staying at this property and again it was lovely! Spacious, magnificent views, comfortable beds, beautiful layout, quiet, serene. Oops! Gotta go grab next years reservation!

The house was beautiful and very peaceful. My husband is disabled so we had to stay on the middle floor on the pull-out couch/bed because he felt the stairs were too steep for him—we slept very well on the pull-out couch/bed because it was surprisingly comfortable. For everyone else there was no issue with the stairs. If you have someone with an accessibility issue, the middle floor worked well. There was a shower chair available for my husband as well which was a great surprise.

We are six women who stayed in this lovely house for seven nights. We chose this place because we decided we wanted our own bedroom. The view of the bay was wonderful and at night we were able to see the bioluminescence along the shore from the deck. The location was ideal as we were close to Portland for tours and shopping. We also enjoyed going into Freeport for the outlet shopping. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. Some of the ladies were wishing for a full-length mirror and shades that would close all the way down, but those were minor issues. Overall, we were very happy staying there and enjoying everything Maine has to offer.

Have stayed twice now...Our daughter was just married in Yarmouth.
There was a slight miscommunication with housekeeping but owners corrected it within an hour and we were go to go. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, views amazing.
It is an old family home that has been renovated very nicely ...gorgeous Maine art work, photos all with a lot of history, etc...Hundreds of beautiful books but too many for a rental home. The cottage needs "Deep" cleaning top to bottom. New towels would also be a plus.
I would highly recommend this property....just needs some attention to clutter.

Best house for ten adults. Three floors, quiet, well insulated, beautiful views, nice decor, expansive deck, nice den and living room. Kitchen is well stocked, not mixing a thing but the wall ovens need to be checked out, one was not operational.
The location of this property is breathtaking and whether it is raining or the fog rolling in and the tide on its way out, you will love this place.

The house was even nicer than it looked in the pictures. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our group of 10, plus the view from the deck out over the water is pretty unbeatable. Great location in a quiet area with easy access to downtown Freeport area and just 20 minutes from Portland. Would highly recommend!

Very spacious home, well appointed in so many ways...cooking, entertaining, bedrooms, outside porch amazing. My husband &I came up to stay to see how it will work for our friends arriving for my daughter's wedding in August and we had our taste testing in Freeport for the wedding! Fun 2 days... My only wish would be to have the fireplace cleaned out and a top to bottom dusting done...Guessing in the summer with open windows, and beautiful sea breeze those concerns won't be there!
