The place was quiet and seems to be a nice quiet place. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Perfect location for what we were doing. Seeing Freeport area and Portland. East trip out to the islands and down to Portland.

We had a great stay for our first time in Maine! Property is quiet and there’s a cafe on the premises. Would definitely recommend.

Room was perfect size, amenities. Was a little stuffy for a non smoking room.

The hotel allows pets for a $30 charge per night which odds fine if it is clearly advertised. Since they choose to allow such, I would expect them to apply the appropriate cleaning measures for those who might stay afterward with pet allergies, especially since booking through here the day of is non refundable. The room section was fine, but the bathroom smells horribly of cat piss which is presumably dialed into the wood trim. Of course, until this is remediated, it will only get worse as each subsequent animal that stays here will continue to piss in the bathroom trying to cover the other animals scent!! We shut the door for the night and that seemed to help but fifteen minutes in the bathroom in the morning for a hot shower destroyed my allergies!!!

The first day when we walked in the room there was a very strong chemical smell as if they had just shampooed the carpet. the smell lasted the whole time we were there (5 days). There was no water provide and they never cleaned our room. They came once to clean but it was 8am when we were sleeping and never came back again. There was a dog barking almost every night. The carpet on the hallway was dirty as well. I will never go back to this place
