Our family loved this place and we plan to come back again! Location was great, place was very clean and quiet, well stocked kitchen, and the bed was so comfortable! The host was amazing, very communicative and even left us a nice welcome gift basket.

The condo was roomy, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed from lots of towels and blankets to a stocked pantry. We've stayed in several condos over the years in Carp, but by far this one is the best. We'l' be coming back. Deborah

ever thing you need is already there. Condo is set up for guests right down to the bath hooks and charger stations. The gift basket was great, popcorn coffee spices foil all set. Can walk to beach for sunset or walk or ride bikes into town. Perfect location. So perfect. No wondwe they are super host.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Incredibly well equipped with anything you might need. The location was great. One short block to the beach but also able to walk downtown. Quiet. Host was very helpful and great communicator.

We loved our stay! The host was amazing and left a gift basket, which I have NEVER received in all my years of using VRBOs and Air B&Bs. Even without the gift basket, I would give it 5 stars. So clean and comfortable, quiet, has everything you need and steps away from the beach. Clear information for everything regarding our stay. We were there in November, so I am not sure how crowded it gets in the summer, but our beach time was quiet and special. Love the little neighborhood, and we felt very safe in this community.

This is our second stay at this cozy condo in Solimar Sands at Carpinteria Beach. Not only was the location perfect, but everything about the condo was perfect too! It was clean, the kitchen provided everything needed for cooking sit down meals, and the beds, especially, were super comfortable. The patio, which had a peek-a-boo view of the beach, was perfect for an evening glass of wine while watching the sunset. We will definitely be back!

If the dates are available & the bed count suits your travel needs… BOOK IT!!! Fantastic location about a 100 yards to the sand & walking distance to restaurants, cafes, market, & shops. Carp is a quaint & quiet beach town. Felt very safe with my 3 kids (15, 10, & 8) - my two littles would ride (on the provided bikes) to the bakery for pastries every morning. Owners provide everything you need for a relaxing beach getaway. Listing is accurate & owners are very responsive with any questions you may have. One of our favorite things to do was just hang in the very resourceful patio grilling, watching the sunset, hearing the waves, & enjoying the ocean breeze. Can’t say enough great things other than we will certainly be back!

We thoroughly loved our stay. I really appreciated that beach chairs and towels were provided and we were delighted with the location and the comfy, relaxing decor. I’d return in a heartbeat if I could.

The unit is nicely appointed and upgraded. You need only bring your toothbrush and bathing suit. Everything is there for you to enjoy your time in Carpinteria and the beach. The hosts are great and want your stay to be as easy "a day at the beach" or, 5, or 10. We will be back...

Steps from the beach. Could hear ocean at night. Especially liked the patio from which you can see both the beach and the mountains.
My girlfriend and I stayed here with another couple (my brother/sister in law). In town for a wedding in Santa Barbara. Easy 20 min drive. Carp had great offerings as well (coffee, restaurants, etc…).
Lisa was communicative and checking in and out was very simple. Will stay here next time we visit.

This is a great property with owners that are easy to work with. Just a stone's throw to the beach, and and easy walk into town. We had a nice time, only negative was the weather, only saw the sun one day of the week we were there.

Great hosts fantastic communication throughout the booking process. Arrived at the property to find lovely welcome pack and generously stocked larder.
We could not fault this property and would highly recommend. The town of Carpinteria is a vibrant friendly town. The hosts are rightly proud of their town. We used the Amtrak to visit Santa Barbara, super easy to use and a great city to visit. For 4 travellers from England our stay in Carpinteria was a highlight of our California road trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing—right by the beach, the boardwalk next to the ocean, and the town with all the cute shops and restaurants. The place itself has a verandah with views of the ocean and mountains, a perfect layout, full kitchen, and comfortable beds. We would love to stay there again!

This place!!! So glad we found it. Comfortable, cozy, cute and steps to beach as promised. greeted with a lovely gift basket which we devoured. Bonus was walking to train station for a day trip to spend day in Santa Barbara. Only downer was lack of sun but who cares when you're lucky enough to be at the beach 😊.

We visited our daughter at a nearby school and stayed 3 nights. It was perfect for us. Beautiful condo and beautiful location. We would come at the end of the day and had a restful sleep. I am very light sleeper , but I did not have a problem and had a sound sleep on a very comfortable bed. We would wake up with a beautiful birds singing and had our morning coffee on a beautiful balcony facing the ocean. That was my best part of the day! The host was very responsive to my texts and would reply shortly.. Also, she was very kind to let us stay longer for check out. We will be back again soon,!

Carp is a wonderful place to visit with friends and family. We’ve stayed here a few times now with our family and love coming to Linda and Ricks condo. It’s clean, comfortable, and within walking distance to all the amazing activities Carpinteria has to offer. A must stay!

From the moment you walk through the elegantly decorated condo, you instantly relax. This is the perfect beachside retreat. It is very roomy, and comfortable for our family of two adults and two kids. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and town. We were able to walk around town and use the condo bikes to explore. The Condo pool and hot tub were great to relax in after a fun day. Linda was prompt and communicative the entire stay. We will definitely make this condo our go to when we are visiting family again.

We booked an after Christmas getaway trip to Carpinteria and the condo was a perfect fit for our family. It is as nice as the pictures, nicely decorated, as pretty as the pictures, close to the beach and the town. Thank you Linda! Our family really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again in the future!

We really enjoyed the little condo's location, which was mere feet from the beach. Visiting during the off season meant there wasn't a lot of traffic, which was fantastic also. The beds are super comfy and the rain style showerhead made for a great vaca shower. Also, the coded lock mechanism on the front door allowed our older son to come and go without worrying about losing the key, so we really appreciated that.
Our problems started the morning after we arrived. We'd used maybe half a dozen dishes for breakfast so I decided to wash them by hand, rather than waste water by using the dishwasher. My husband grew up in Carp in a house with old plumbing too, so we were careful to scrape everything clean before using the sink. About three dishes in I noticed the other side of the sink, where the dish strainer sits, was filling with dirty water, so I stopped immediately and sent a text to Linda letting her know and asking for help. Linda had been super communicative and kind up to this point but she didn't reply again. I still haven't heard from her. We ended up having to put all of our dishes in the dishwasher because we couldn't use the water in the kitchen for more than about two minutes before the other side filled with dirty water. Both sinks backed up with the dishwasher drained too, btw. Did I mention that it smelled like sewage? Yea, not a great look in the kitchen. I'm guessing this maybe is a known issue as we were able to find candles to light and keep near the sinks.

My teenage kids and I stayed at this property when we were in Carp for a lacrosse tournament. We could not have been happier with our stay. Linda was an amazing host. She thought of absolutely everything! Communication was easy, as was check in/check out. The condo was clean and well appointed, and as I mentioned...Linda thought of everything we may need. The location was perfect as well. The beach and salt marsh preserve are basically right out the door, with down town Carp being within walking/biking distance. Downtown Santa Barbara was only a 20 minute drive. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Our hosts thought of everything we could possibly need and more. We felt so comfortable, just like at home. We could hear the waves crashing on the shore which was so relaxing. Without a doubt we will be back and are already making plans to come again, but stay Lord willing for a week. Can't wait to return!

We had a lovely time at Linda's condo with our young daughter! The location was absolutely perfect for us--close to the beach, walkable to everything in downtown Carpinteria, and a 15 minute drive to SB attractions--and the condo was furnished with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything about our booking was great! From check-in to check-out, our stay was very relaxing and cozy. The unit is exactly as described, nicely decorated and supplied with everything we needed. We appreciated the welcome basket and all the amenities!
Linda was very easy to contact when/if we had questions, and responded immediately. We wish we could have stayed longer!

This place is amazing. The neighborhood is quaint, the courtyard is fabulous.
Walking into the home you can tell it’s cleaned properly and well maintained. It smells clean and fresh, not perfumed like past places I’ve stayed, trying to cover up unpleasant odors. The linens were also clean and smelled freshly laundered. The beds were comfortable the patio and living room were cozy and beautifully decorated with live plants every where.
I felt like I was walking into my own home, that’s how comfortable I felt there. Which I have never felt in any other vacation rental.
The beach is so close we walked barefoot to it. The sunsets are amazing. The restaurants were aplenty. The shops were unique and fun.
I will definitely be staying here again. Linda was very helpful and friendly and we Loved staying in her beautiful home.

Beautiful condo in the perfect location to everything. To the ocean and to down town. Can walk to both. Condo is clean, decorated so nice, hosts make it easy to check in and leave a lovely gift basket. If you are in the town perfect place to stay.
