Was not happy with the beds/mattresses were really bad. 2 of the stove burners did not work. Only (1) person could dry their hair or using curling tool or all the lights would flicker. WiFi was very bad, had to go buy an external WiFi in order to get on location was good, but house needs a lot of work.

Very comfortable But the washer didn’t work right & have the lights don’t work & a lot of locks don’t work. Other than that, it’s perfect

We rented the home for Thanksgiving weekend. I read several reviews before checking in, and… I have to admit I was a bit worried. Before we arrived to the home the owner contacted me and gave me all the info I needed to check in. The process was super easy. The house does need some TLC and a good deep cleaning. The location was amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and incredible views. The view from the crows nest were incredible. The place was perfect for our family. Due to the no pet policy, our son and granddaughter could not join us. They do not allow pets, not even a service pet. That was the only hard part of our holiday since our granddaughter needs her service pet to alert her if her sugar is too low. I highly recommend this home for large families. There is plenty of room to spread out.

Great house & location. We had lots of fun

As other reviews stated, it is dated and well lived in, in but that is why we chose it. We have made the mistake of staying in 'newish' super maintained places only to be stressed out the whole time worrying that our kids are going to destroy it. Has all the amenities required for us and was vey comfy and well laid out. Plenty of room to spread out for all of us. Price and location trumped any minor issues for us. We could watch the kids make their way to the ocean and play from the comfort of the second story 'crows nest' while relaxing on the sofa and soaking in the view. Could also clean them all off in the outside shower before ever coming back in. Will go back

house is ok. except locks on the side gate and door on the back do NOT work. its close to the beach so people can just pass through. Also they use old fashioned keys which the previous renter or someone who cleans the house may have duplicate it and able to go back and go inside and steal your belongings. its so very sad that one night some one was able to go inside while we were sleeping and grab our car keys and stole our car. there is no alarm or any camera on this house. we don't feel any security. Our vacation was ruined because of these. From now on we do NOT trust these VRB or Airnb whatever. Its NOT Secure. You don't even know if they ever sanitize the house or change those blankets... this will be our last... lesson learned the hard way...

We all like the ocean. The nights with the beach bonfires are very nice.

If you want to be on the sand...this is an awesome location. The house is operational, but has not been touched since the 80's! The beds were just ok and the shape of the house was rentable, but pretty worn. Overall, I think this is a good rental for the location, but a bit shabby overall.

Front door was hard to open, one of the showers drained extremely slow and the Wi-Fi was very weak.

Our first night was full of laughter, the men were running around figuring out the electrical circuitry of the house, what switches worked or operated lighting. The house has wart’s but is a great place for a cozy stay. In its day, I’m sure it was built for a very loved woman & it hasn’t had that kind of love in a long time. If only walls could talk. Salt & sand is not kind, but you can still have a memorable time, & why I would rate the week 5*****’s.

Overall…. We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The pantry has everything we needed and some!! Master bedroom upstairs has an incredible view. Suggestions: a) dishwasher needs to install a bracket to keep it in place; b) locks on all the bathrooms need to be fixed.

This was a beautiful house the owner needs to spend a lot of money there's molder in the kitchen sink the upstairs shower does not work none of the toilet Holder's work Y You go to load the dishwasher the dishwasher falls out Under the floor they need to do some repairs Also we were barely able to get into the house the hardware is beautiful but needs to be replaced due to the salt water Along with a lot of the doors barely you're going to get them open or the windows

It was a cool and windy weekend, so there was not so much traffic on the sands in front of the house. Walking was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with essentials. No shampoo or other toiletries. No hot pads or kitchen towels. It was convenient to a great taco truck in Grover Beach.

Way too much traffic on the beach! Unable to play at water with children. House was in need of much repair. Mildew in kitchen drawers and dirty dishes in cupboards. Windows upstairs dangerous for small children. Bed frames falling apart. Some windows don't open, others don't close. Not safe in the crows nest for children.

This is a great house to have a little getaway! The kids loved playing in the dunes just outside the house and enjoyed the ocean as well. The kids were just old enough (9-12) to be able to watch for cars as they went from our spot on the beach to the water.

Great location for a getaway spacious house with beach front

Had a wonderful time catching up with college roommates - great space, loved the view of the beach from the top enclosed patio (prefect sun room to be out of the wind and still enjoy the view). Kitchen is well stocked.

Very clean, right on the beach. Family had lots of fun.
