Kana'i A Nalu significa 'surf gentile, ma noi lo chiamiamo' Paradise di papà. ' Kana'i Un Nalu è un bellissimo complesso di fronte all'oceano situato sul tratto di quattro miglia di Sugar Beach sulla Ma'alaea Bay. Il nostro appartamento è situato al secondo piano, con splendida vista dal lanai dei giardini tropicali, la piscina, l'oceano, e l'alba sopra Haleakala, la 'Casa del Sole', il più grande vulcano dormiente di Maui. Durante i mesi invernali, quando le megattere sono nella baia, i lanai possono diventare la vostra residenza a tempo pieno.

Il nostro appartamento è completamente attrezzato con utensili da cucina, biancheria, lavastoviglie e lavatrice / asciugatrice. Abbiamo anche una bella collezione di asciugamani da spiaggia, attrezzatura per lo snorkeling, giocattoli di sabbia e tavole da boogie da utilizzare sulla spiaggia.
La camera da letto principale ha un letto king-size con un bagno comunicante, mentre la seconda camera ha due letti singoli e un bagno completo nella sala adiacente.
Abbiamo fatto alcuni bei miglioramenti al condominio negli ultimi anni, con pavimenti in piastrelle in zona giorno e cucina, granito principale in cucina e entrambi i bagni, e con televisori HD nel soggiorno / sala da pranzo e la camera da letto principale. Amiamo lo stile tropicale rilassato sull'isola, e che lo stile si riflette nel nostro condominio.
Quando il tempo è vesciche caldo su altre parti dell'isola, brezze costanti di Ma'alaea Bay mantenere l'aria confortevole presso il nostro complesso. All'interno del condominio, ogni camera ha un ventilatore a soffitto per offrire comfort, compresi i bagni. I silenziosi condizionatori Fujitsu sono nel soggiorno e nella camera da letto principale.
Direttamente attraverso la baia è la città di Kihei; sovrasta è Haleakala, alt. 10.023. Albe sulla sua cima può essere visto dal lanai, e sono incredibili!

Perfect is the right word- the location, the accommodations, the owner.
The condo is located close to everything, but in a calm, relaxing location just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The condo is very comfortable, and well stocked, with everything to cook meals and the grill to cookout by the pool, and the balcony to watch the waves roll in and the sun come up with a nice cup of coffee. Having the twin beds is great, so that both my kids had their own sleeping location.
Terri (the owner) is very welcoming and so helpful. Her welcome packet had great island info, and she has truly prepped the condo with everything you need for a great vacation. Highly recommend, and hope that she will allow us the opportunity to stay again in the future.

This condo is amazing!!!! It’s in a great location, wonderfully stocked and the hosts were amazing to work with!! The mornings on the balcony drinking coffee and watching whales started the days off right and the evening walks on the nearby beach or the kids swimming in the pool was the perfect ending each evening! We would definitely stay here again!!!

We were thrilled with the location, the view and the amenities. Truly all we needed was inside this condo. Communication with the owner was easy and we didn't need anything during our stay. The best surprise was how close the beach was to walk to which we did almost every day rather than drive around the island. For a few of our nights were were unlucky with a few loud renters from other suites but not after dark. We will absolutely look up this suite when we come back to the island next! Mahalo!

We stayed here for 9 nights and couldn’t be happier! This place was perfect for our family of 4. The condo is beautiful, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed. The property is quiet, well cared for, and adjacent to a great beach. The view from the lanai is beautiful. Having beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards available made it easy to have a great time! The owner, Terri, is attentive and conscientious. She seemed truly concerned with making sure our needs were met. I highly recommend this lovely place for your stay on Maui!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo in Maalaea. It is in a quiet area of the island, but close to the Maalaea Harbor that has shops and many excursion options that take off from there. It is a convenient and close walk to the harbor from the condo.
We were lucky to have the owners of the condo on the property during our stay. It was so nice to meet them and have a personal connection. We can see why that place is special to their family.

Kanai a Nalu has been our favourite accommodation for many years. The ocean views and whale watching from the lanai as well as the ease of access to the pool, beach, bbq's made it the perfect location to bring the whole family. This particular unit is well furnished, has updated air conditioning, and is located a short distance from the elevator. We will be back!

This was our second time staying in this condo, we absolutely love this complex! Very clean, Terri is super helpful, grounds are beautiful and beach is very easy to access! Will stay here again for sure!

We had an amazing experience staying here and Terri was great at communicating and resolving any issues. There are many extras included in this home that make your vacation much more enjoyable. Everything you need to go to the beach: chairs, umbrella, coolers, snorkel gear, hats, etc. There was plenty of laundry supplies and dishwasher packets. If you like to cook, it has everything you need. I would highly recommend staying here. The beach is an easy walk. The area is very quiet compared to other resort areas on the island. The street is a dead end that ends at the beach.

The location of the condominium is perfect. It allows easy access to any part of the island. The property is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing and the host is very responsive to any needs. The condominium is well appointed with everything you need for the beach

Terri was an amazing host and communicated with us the whole way and went over and above with all the amenities and extras! The location was perfect for our first visit as it was central to everything! There is easy access to the beach and the condo has all the equipment you need for the beach!
The only thing I would suggest is there could be a few more hooks or places to hang up wet clothes but that is the case for every accommodation that we have been to.
Thank you to Terri at Dad's place, truly a magical vacation with my teenager and senior dad!

Beautiful stay
Very spacious, very well appointed two bedroom two bath. Ocean views from the lanai. Better than the pictures. Very responsive and friendly host. We will stay here again if possible

Paradise Found
We knew we were in for a great week from our first conversation with our host (Terri) The place was so clean and stocked with everything we needed to have a good time. Perfect location, everything we wanted to do was approximately 20 minutes or less in every direction. General Store within walking distance with a great little cafe for coffee in the morning. The breeze coming off the ocean was great, we never had to use the AC. Great snorkeling right off the beach behind the unit. We saw lots of fish and a few sea turtles. We had a great time and highly recommend Terri’s Dad’s Place. We hope to come back in the not so distant future ! Mahalo

Dad’s paradise is just that!
Excellent condo and location. Everything for this condo is accurately stated in the write up and photos. We enjoyed the balcony and seating for 4, the sun is bright and too hot between 6:30 and 11, but all other times was perfect with nice view of property, ocean and Haleakala!
Excellent boogie boarding right out front, surfers farther down towards marina, and snorkeling out front when calmer. People around island get excited seeing turtles, there’s turtles all around here. We snorkeled within a few feet of 3 turtles for 30 minutes watching them eat on a reef right in front our first day. The water was cloudy but was better actually than two beaches in wailea.
Beach is small right in front (waves with cover mist of it) but the large beach is about 100 yards down or can sit on grass above the beach. Very private with only few people on beach. We either were only ones in water or on sand, or maybe 10 others tops.
BBQ’s are big and good enough for 4 people cooking at a time. Pool is small and basic. Grounds are simple but very clean and well kept up.
There’s definitely many fancier and newer properties with more amenities. But for this price range, it was perfect for us for a mix of staying put all day and other days exploring the island.

Perfection
It was such a gift to stay here. The place was well maintained, was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for trips to the beach. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and look out at the bay, seeing whales in the distance. Terri was a thoughtful and well-prepared host. Can't recommend this property enough.

Great trip
We had a wonderful time in Maui!! The condo was true to its description, had everything we needed. The grounds are small and quiet, we had such a busy itinerary so the property was suitable for our needs . We were 20-30 minutes from most of our chosen beach locations . Highly recommended Mill house Inn for a dinner - just gorgeous property and 9 minutes from the condo ! Go before sunset as the grounds are not to be missed

Terri is on top of things
The place was excellently located to enjoy as much as Maui as possible. Stocked with extras you might need for your stay. Like all condos, issues can pop up. We had trouble with a fan and Terri took care of it. A drain pipe on the ac unit above must have slipped loose, causing water to drip on our patio. We reached out to Terri and the issue was resolved. That’s how I know she is a great host for her property. It easy to be a good host when everything goes along easily. It is much harder to be an excellent host while having to take care of condo issues while you have a guest using the property. We just went about enjoying our wonderful Maui vacation and Terri took care of things. It was nice to deal with someone who when the said they would take care of an issue , it was taken care of My family plans to return in a couple years and the whole group agreed that we would want to repeat at Terri’s place.

Family vacation ages 9 - 70
Excellent excellent excellent accommodations and the owner of the condo was so accommodating. There were 3 families in 3 different condos in this complex. This condo was furnished like a beach home should be. Boogie boards, skin boards, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beaches bags, towels. Then there was the condiments in the kitchen and the first aid and lotions in the bathrooms fully stocked. Oh and the bound book on table with all the information you need for the island. That is worth its weight in gold. Every condo had a view and you really did not need an air conditioner with all the fans and opening windows worked perfectly. The view was breathtaking and I could see my grandkids in the pool. Which they were in every day. Also the 2 large gas’s bbq by the pool were perfect for our large family. This is the First time I stayed in this location which was Centrally located. We could walk up the road for small shops and restaurants. Planning our days for different beaches we got up early to get parking. Would Come back to the condo for pool time and then we plan our evenings going up to Wailea area or all the way to the other end Kaanapali area and never had a problem getting into a restaurant ( 11 of us )we just had to plan on a travel time. I have been planning this family trip for 10 years and the accommodations wonderful thank you again Terri.

Loved it
This was one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. Very well furnished, everything you could possibly need. Even a medicine cabinet with lotions, gels, etc. every spice, condiments and beach accessories. Incredible view with whale watching all day. Very quiet, extremely well maintained property. Terri was a delight to work with. She treated us like family. A+++++++ rating.

Perfect location!
Staying in the center of the island made everything very accessible. The road to Hana and the volcano took an entire day and it was nice that we didnt have to drive all the way to the other side afterwards. And vice versa…. Spent a few days at the other end (Front Beach, Kaanapoli, black rock) and only 20 minutes back home:).
Could see whales from our balcony and grounds were very clean and quiet.
Having all the extras in the condo saved us hundreds! We used scuba gear several times and only needed a couple things out of the medicine cabinet/kitchen cubby once ir twice, but was nice to have some in hand without having to buy a complete bottle. It also felt good to leave extra unopened things that We bought, didnt need and didnt want to carry back home.
Terri was amazing and we enjoyed having the air conditioning in December. The days were warm and after coming home from the beach, showering, it was nice to sit in the A/C.
We had morning sun on the balcony and evening shade! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Amazing location!
If you want a clean beautiful place to stay that is RIGHT ON THE BEACH, this is it! We feel so incredibly lucky to have stayed here. Our boys loved walking down to the beach and snorkeling every day, with amazing fish and turtles right off the shore! I'd love to stay here again. The only downside is everyone's voices echo in the courtyard, however I'm not sure how to fix that other than telling every renter on property to ensure they're quiet on their lanais.

Family Maui trip
This well supplied, clean, and cozy condo was in the perfect location for our family of 4 ( including 2 older teenage boys) It was a great starting point each day for our excursions or if we just wanted to hang around and relax at the beach and pool. Terri was in constant contact before and provided full information on anything needed! The view every day and night from the lanai was so relaxing with the cool breeze! Would highly recommend!

Pristine and well-equiped condo in a great location
Terri anticipates every need. The condo is very orderly--even the kitchen junk drawer is neat--and well stocked with all you could want for a great beach vacation. The complex had a range of ages--from little kids splashing in the pool, to 20 something's playing spikeball after a day of surfing, to Dad's waiting their turn at the two grills. But everyone was considerate and well mannered. So at night and early in the morning, all we heard was the surf. I liked the quiet location but it was also within easy driving distance of all the must-see Maui sites--Lahaine and Kaanapali, the Hana Highway, Haleakala crater and more.

Wonderful Vacation Condo in Ma'alaea Bay!
We have just returned from a wonderful week in Maui at this beautiful condo. It was so well equipped - all the beach gear you could ever need and just a really well appointed home. The location was great - quiet and away from the crowds of the bigger resort areas. Easy mid-island location making exploring very easy. Terri was absolutely wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back!

I have rented many properties over the years and this one definitely ranks the highest! From booking communications, check-in, cleanliness, fully stocked, location, etc., etc., everything was perfect. Terri was in touch from the very beginning and kept us informed about weather issues during our stay. It is clear that she not only loves the condo, but also cares a great deal about the safety and happiness of her guests. We loved watching the whales in the bay and the sound of swaying palms in the breeze at night. The location of the condo is in a quiet area of Maui and we appreciated that after long days of touring and diving. I highly recommend this accommodation for all types of travelers. The condo was absolutely PERFECt! It had everything we could have possibly needed. Terri even put up a small Christmas tree since she knew we would be celebrating during our stay. We just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Great vacation place!
Everything about this condo was excellent and as advertised. We used the communal grills a lot and the condo had all possible kitchen and grill equipment. The location was so convenient as a jumping off place for all parts of the island. The property manager was always available and so considerate of our needs.

Amazing Condo
We absolutely loved our month long stay at Bob’s place! Very comfortable, clean and homey. Terri (for Bob) was very helpful, kind, and quick to answer any questions or concerns. We also had the privilege to met Windy the manager of the condo. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet, well equipped and centrally located condo, look no further. You’ll not find anything better. Family treatment on Maui
Spacious, nicely decorated, well maintained two bedroom condo overlooking the bay. Condo has everything you may possibly need and you will be treated by the owner as though you were family. A short walk takes you to a lovely sandy beach where you can walk a long way. Ideal for children to swim and play. Sea turtles swim along the beach daily. Condo grounds are beautiful and the pool and bbq area are new. Quiet, older adult area with friendly and approachable staff. We were extremely comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay.

Great condo
Our family of 4 had a great week in Maui. The location was great for us because it was in the middle of the island so we were able to do lots of day trips. It is within walking distance of the Maui Ocean center. The condo had a nice assortment of items that we did not have to pack or purchase like beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, and small coolers. We were lucky enough to see sea turtles right on the beach 2 of the days of our trip. The kids enjoyed relaxing in the pool each day as well. Thanks for a nice place to stay during our Hawaii trip!

Maui stay in July 2019
A one week stay for our family of four, had a great time. Terri was very personable and made sure we knew where everything is in the condo. The place came equipped with beach stuff, very nice to have. The kitchen is well stocked and the washer and dryer came in super handy! The beach is literally 20 yards out from the pool and it is lovely, nice calm, clear water, even for snorkeling. The AC units were a must when it's 90 degrees out as it can get rather warm in the condo, but that's to be expected in Maui in July. The guest room has no AC, so it could be a touch warm. Overall tho, the condo was great and thus, the five star rating. Thanks again Terri for sharing your dad's place with us, we truly appreciate it.

Everything was perfect!
We had a wonderful time staying at Dad’s Place!! Terri was a huge help with booking, suggestions of places to go while in Maui and even with resending all our direction and security codes when I called and told her we left all our condo info at home.
The condo was clean and comfortable. The pool and grounds were also clean and very well maintained. We stayed with our 2 teenage girls. They had a great time also. I hope we can return again someday!

Lovely stay
My family of four (two adult kids) enjoyed our stay in this very clean and quiet condo. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were beautifully updated. The condo environment was perfect for relaxing, grilling, swimming and taking short or long walks on the beach. If we return , we would definitely stay here again!
