Authentic Montana Log Studio Cabin Overlooking Flathead Lake
Historic hand-cutwn Log Studio Cabin Affitto immerso in un frutteto biologico di ciliegio da 5 acri con viste eccezionali sul Lago Flathead. Completamente restaurato con arredi antichi. La cabina si trova a 15 miglia a sud di Bigfork. La cabina non si trova sull'acqua, ma è comodamente situato a circa 1/2 miglia dal Yellow Bay State Park. (Circa 2 minuti in auto o 10 minuti a piedi) Progettato per 2 persone, questo cottage di 400 metri quadrati ha anche un divano letto (non estraibile).
Il grande portico coperto ha posti di log rustici che inquadrano l'incredibile vista Flathead Lake e Wild Horse Island. Si trova a breve distanza (oa piedi) al Yellow Bay State Park, spiaggia pubblica e rampa di barca. Tranquillo e riservato nella Valle di Flathead nel nordovest del Montana.
Costruito nel 1932, questa cabina di tronchi è stata scolpita a mano dagli alberi per liberare i frutteti circostanti. Costruito come cabina di un homesteader quando la riva del lago est era una posizione molto remota con poche famiglie che vivono a Yellow Bay, e l'unico accesso è stato tramite una strada sterrata a 2 tracce.
La cabina è stata completamente ristrutturata, creando un caldo accogliente rifugio con il fascino di un'era passata. Mantenendo i registri originali, i pavimenti, le finestre e la patina invecchiata erano molto importanti, aggiungendo tutti i comfort moderni che ci si aspetterebbe.
La cabina ha un letto matrimoniale queen size così come un divano letto, futon in stile e stufa a legna. Cucina completamente attrezzata e bagno, e un portico coperto con barbecue a gas che affaccia sul lago Flathead. Non c'è tv o telefono, che va bene la maggior parte degli ospiti. Ma abbiamo internet wireless e il servizio cellulare è disponibile.

Perfect stay! This was our first stop on our Anniversary trip and it was amazing! The cabin is soooo cute and cozy. We loved the rustic, TRUE log cabin and appreciated all the comforts of home! The bed was very comfortable, shower fantastic! Now let’s talk about the views! STUNNING!! The view of Flatlake was beautiful, sunsets were breathtaking and we loved seeing wildlife all around! It’s in a cherry orchard…seriously! We didn’t want to leave!!!

Wonderful view, cute cabin, and great hosts. We enjoyed our 2 night stay overlooking Flathead Lake from the cabin in the cherry orchard. Cabin was fully stocked. Great porch to chill and just enjoy the view. Thank you!

My husband and I journeyed to Montana to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This little cabin is just what we were looking for. The location was perfect for day trips to Glacier National Park, kayaking on the Swan River and exploring Flathead Lake. The accommodations were simple and adequate for two of us. We enjoyed grilling on the porch while soaking up the beautiful sunsets on the lake and mountains. Honestly, the cabin is precious and comfortable and relaxing and provides just the right atmosphere to unplug and unwind. Definitely recommend- 5/5!!!

It was perfect. If we are to be a little picky…the mattress comfotrtable but but bed rocks when spouse moves; better to have sprinklers come on early in the morning as we got wet loading up at 9 this morning; old coffee grounds left in maker and not washed. Overall though we loved it!!! Thank you.

As dog lovers, we're meticulous about our dogs and cleaning up after them. Would be more plesant if neighbor to the south showed same interest and respect. We ran out of doggie bags cleaning up after their elderly dog so as not to be wrongly blamed. Others may not be as kind.

We really enjoyed our stay, nice and private. The view from the porch is awesome, sitting in the chairs on the porch was so peaceful and quiet. The grass area around the cabin was idea for our dogs to play and relax. Inside the Cabin has everything you need to cook with, great shower and nice towels.I would highly reccomend staying here.

It is the perfect cabin, cozy in every way. The bed was comfortable and the wood burning stove was the best. Not too far from Big Fork for dining. Beautiful views and a relaxing environment; what more could you ask for? We hope to return for our next getaway!

What a great place! This property was perfect and what a place to get away from the busy life and enjoy nature, mountains, lakes and all its beauty. We were only an hour away from Glacier National Park which is where we wanted to spend most of our time, but the drive was perfect. In the evenings, we sat on the porch having a cocktail soaking up the views. I highly recommend this place to a couple looking for an exciting and relaxing time away. Thank you to the hosts! Bruce

Just what we needed. After a few days bicycling on the road to the sun we looked forward to a relaxing environment. We surely found that at the flat head lake cabin. The beautiful historic cabin amongst the fruit trees overlooking the lake was really just what we needed

The perfect getaway!
The cabin location is great. Bigfork is a great town with hiking and biking trails, shops and eateries. Its a short drive to GNP. The property is perfect, quiet with great view of Flathead lake. Very relaxing. The cabin has everything you need for a getaway. We fixed breakfast each morning and enjoyed the view off the front porch. George was very responsive when we needed him. Highly recommend this cabin!

Perfect Honeymoom
My husband and I decided to take a road trip for our honeymoon with our main destination being flathead lake, so once we hit the road I began looking for a place to stay and fell across the Gibson cabin! We really enjoyed our time together at the cabin. Beautiful views with a great firepit outside. Cozy interior with a wood stove and comfortable bed. Location was great right in between Polson and Big Fork. We would love to come visit again!

Absolutely beautiful spot overlooking Flathead Lake! The cabin was spotless, well cared for and nicely appointed. Easy access to local sites, groceries, etc., but felt very private and secluded! Will gladly recommend the property and hope to return again!

21st Anniversary weekend
Cabin was very relaxing, just what we hoped it would be. The area is beautiful! We spent alot time on the spacious porch staring at the georgeous view. Cabin was clean and well stocked. They allowed are dog to stay...alot of the reason we chose this cabin...we like to take our fur baby on road trips. We would definitely stay again if we were going to be in the area. For our anniversary trip....the cabin was Lovely!!.
