Our 2nd stay here. The location is great. The property has a nice sized pool, which can be heated for a fee. The pool usually has some shaded areas & some sunny areas throughout the day. The beach is quite clean & soft & just an easy short walk from the house. Beach umbrellas, chairs & toys are available. There is nice parking. The home is cheerful with beach-facing windows & porches on both levels. The kitchen is well stocked with quality equipment. Beds are comfortable; bathrooms are very nice. We received a detailed welcome/instruction sheet from the owner a week before our time was to begin. No problems arose during our stay, but I have every confidence Susan or her team would have addressed it quickly. The Internet was sootty, but we think that’s an island issue. The tvs are large & worked well. The house had a few games & puzzles. Truly!— we completely enjoy a vacation at Jolly Mon & find the nearly 14 hr drive to be worth it. I have a couple small suggestions— more than an 8 piece flatware set. We were constantly washing forks & spoons; the 1st floor bathriom door at living room doesn’t close tight to lick & the 2nd floor king room had the same issue. Finally, if you go & have temperature-diverse compnions, take a couple blankets. The a/c works well & all the areas have ceiling fans, so anyone who gets cool easily may want a blanket & there were none stored in the home. As my personal FB post states, “ Jolly Mon & St George Island do NOT disappoint!”

We had a fabulous vacation at Jolly Mon! The ocean views are truly breathtaking and the house is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The whole family loved listening to the sounds of the ocean while enjoying the pool. That really set this house apart for us. We would love to return as soon as possible for some more Vitamin Sea!

Jolly Mon had everything we needed for an amazing week at the beach. Step off the front porch and your toes are immediately in the sand and a few steps more to the ocean. Relaxing on the front porch, reading a book while listening to the waves was my favorite. The kids loved the private swimming pool, day and night! Our party of 8 had plenty of space to spread out. We have already booked Jolly Mon again next year!

Beautiful beach views throughout the house.

From beginning to end everything was fantastic! Beautiful house on the beach, so clean, beds comfortable, house fully stocked with everything needed.

Our Jolly Mon stay was enjoyed by our family but we handled some challenges along the way. Jolly Mon location, the house layout and amenities were as described online. The updated showers were modern and fresh and new unlike the photos we saw on VRBO. We enjoyed the Gulf Waters by fishing and swimming and our private swimming pool was clean and a good size. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and could sleep 8-10 people comfortably. We did have challenges however with the stovetop beeping, the oven not working, Trex decking & stairs nail heads protruding, lower bunkbed mattresses falling to the floor and overgrown shrubs and prickly bushes outside. Maintenance was called and they attended to fixing the stovetop, cutting back some of the shrubs and removing some of the nails. However we could have had maintenace/repair people working on the property each day which cut into our Spring Break / vacation time. I would recommend replacing the "Big Green Egg" Grill with an easy to use gas grill. My rating gave Jolly Mon 3 stars but taking care of repairs and some storage area cleanout and organizing could make it a 5 star for future guests. We enjoyed our time but it could have been even better!

This is the second time we have stayed at Jolly Mon. It is a great location and the owner could not be nicer. There were 5 adults and 4 kids (10 and under) and there was plenty of room. Great beach access and a swimming pool! Would stay here again if it available on our schedule.

Best property we have stayed in on SGI. Proximity to the beach, the pool, everything was awesome. We are already trying to book another stay.

We had a wonderful time at Jollymon with our family. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. Loved the front porch and the layout of the house. Susan was so helpful with any concerns we had and super easy to contact. The pool was a plus. We loved every minute on St George and hope to come back!

This is our 4th year vacationing at SGI. This is our 3rd house and it did not disappoint. The home was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the Big Green Egg! We've already reserved our dates for next year.

We loved our stay in Jolly Mon. You step through the door and your views are breathtaking. The house has all the amenities you need. The pool was wonderful, you can relax in the pool while listening to the ocean. We love setting on the back deck and relaxing watching the dolphins. One of the most important things is the beds are very comfortable( we usually don’t have comfortable beds in a vacation rental). The owners are great to work with. We have found a great vacation house to rent again and again.

Directions were clear for arrival and departure. Home was comfortable, adequate and met our needs.

I can’t even put into words how wonderful our stay was at Jolly Mon….but I’ll try! Susan communicated extremely well from the reservation through check out. Check in was a breeze. The home itself was extremely clean, both inside and out! The view is unbeatable. We got to enjoy our coffee on either of the huge beach-side porches while watching the most amazing sunrises. Our entire group agreed that this is the nicest home we have ever rented! We look forward to staying here again. Not a single bad thing about this place! The definition of Paradise 🌴

What a great property!! Offers all the comforts of home and On The Beach! We had 8 adults, 20 to 59, and there was plenty of room inside and out on the great deck. Celebrated my daughter getting engaged on the beach and my husband's birthday!! Really had a great time. The Green Egg was great. Cooked kabobs and St. Louis style porksteaks. Would definitely stay here again!

We came down to SGI for our son’s wedding. Jolly Mon was the perfect home for us as we prepared for various wedding activities. The renovations done were beautiful, the house was well equipped, comfortable and the views amazing!

JUST DONT' TELL THE WORLD... it's the forgotten coast.. let's leave it that way. :) If you want to be BUSY don't go there... if you wanna chillax this is your spot...

The location was exactly what our family was looking for. There were 6 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room and very comfortable. The house was very clean and well organized. We have al ready booked this location again!

Very nicely laid out for all people in our group to have private bedrooms and bathrooms. Comfortable common areas inside and out. The kitchen was well appointed. We would certainly stay here again.

We had a great week at Jolly Mon. The house is well stocked, both in the kitchen and with surprise extras like beach chairs and pool noodles, and clean - the upstairs bathrooms are all newly refurbished. The location is perfect right on the beach and the verandas perfect for star gazing at night. The pool is also a good size - it was a little windy when we were there but the pool area was great and protected from the wind. While the management company was not on the ball re. getting our pool heat on after it had to be turned off because of a cold snap the owners were great and had everything back on track in a jiffy. Definitely recommend!

We have visited SGI many times and this was our favorite house we have rented. The house was very clean, well equipped, and had a great layout for our family. The grandparents had their own room on the first floor, and my husband and I had a spacious master on the second floor across the hall from the bunkbed room for our kids. The pool was a life saver as we were visiting during an unfortunately timed red tide. The grandparents also appreciated that there were only a few steps up to get into the house, and only a few steps down to get on the beach. The beach access and beach toys supplied at the house were great. We really appreciated the welcome goodies provided by the owner upon our arrival, as well. All in all, we loved this house and had another great week at SGI!

Our second time at this property and again an amazing vacation! Perfect location- right in the sand in front of the ocean! Perfect space for the whole family with each room having a private bathroom and their own balconies overlooking the ocean. We will definitely be back!

Very bad experience

Perfect family house! Enough room for 6 adults, 1 child, one baby! Kitchen fully stocked! Had breakfast and lunch in, cooked two family dinner nights! Porches were comfy spacious and plenty of seating to enjoy the Fabulous, close view of the ocean! Bedrooms roomy and beds comfortable for everyone! Grandkids and adults enjoyed the pool games when a had a little too much sun at the beach! Susan was amazing in responding to all my questions prior to arrival, really enjoyed the welcome goodies! We were blessed to enjoy her lovely beach home! Definitely our home away from home! Planning a return trip in two years, as we have a Family Wedding next year! BTW, engagement photos were taken on the property boardwalk and beach! Perfect setting!

Everything we hoped for and more. Beautiful home is comfortable; each deck furnished with chairs and/or couches. Beautiful pool. Easy, mostly level access to beach. Amazing to us was just how close the house was to the beach. The beach wasn’t crowded. A short drive to “town” for groceries or restaurants. I especially appreciated the quality of the pots, pans, & gadgets as many rentals I’ve used before have only the cheapest items. Bedding was comfortable ( except for one squeaky bunk bed). Instructions wete clear. Susan was very prompt & thorough in response to questions. Plenty of games available for rainy times indoors as well as beach chairs & toys for water time. A Green Egg grill! ( which we didn’t use, but impressive). Our little boys loved seeing lizards & crabs regularly. We very much hope to return to Jolly Mon for a future family vacation. The only downside is the 16 hr frive from our home....ha.....but it’s worth it!

Stayed at the Island many times and this was by far the best home. Great place, and we all had a wonderful time. The pool was so great for the girls. Down the beach far enough away from all the hustle, but close enough to get there in a couple of minutes. My granddaughter left her make up bag and Susan and Jamie made sure it was mailed back. Thanks again guys for an amazing week. Do you have other properties at the island as well ? We will be back!

The jollymon was absolutely wonderful! The views are stunning and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed, even beach chairs, toys, and towels! There was a ton of parking which was great we had three cars, a trailer, and golf cart and still had plenty of room. Susan was super helpful and a great host! We will definitely be back!
