Gli appartamenti a misura di coppia della casa sull'albero del mio artista e della Biblioteca dell'artista sono in cima ai più popolari nella zona di Carmel / Monterey Peninsula. Sperimentali.
Un'ampia scala si snoda sul ponte con tavolo e sedie (è consentito fumare solo all'esterno) e le doppie porte dell'appartamento. L'edificio tutto in sequoia ha un soffitto a punta, travi a vista, maschio e femmina con finestre in vetro colorato a forma di cattedrale su ciascuna estremità e finestre schermate ovunque.
Moquette con parquet di rovere nella cucina completa e piastrelle nel bagno completo (doccia): l'effetto è leggero e delizioso! Estremamente ben isolata, la casa sull'albero ha un riscaldamento a parete a gas; in estate le brezze oceaniche arrivano nel primo pomeriggio per rinfrescarsi e le giornate sono SENZA Nebbia.
Il parcheggio è fuori strada in un posto auto coperto dietro una recinzione e un cancello elettrico. Supplemento parcheggio per una seconda auto, solo su richiesta.

4 days of peace & quiet! Lovely place, with great views. Husband & I enjoyed relaxing, taking walks, and cooking. Host Desiree is wonderful, informative & great to talk with.

The house was great with a nice atmosphere. The area was peaceful with deer and turkeys that were native to the area. We overall enjoyed the house the atmosphere and the tea that was provided. Thank you for letting us stay.

We had a great time in this cozy artist's studio loft. The space was quiet and decorated in a charming manner. We had everything we needed and our host was very helpful in providing information about local places to visit.

Our 3 night stay was perfect in every way, a total contrast to recent properties we have stayed in. Desiree is amazing, she really looks after you and is a font of local knowledge, which comes in very handy if you don’t know the area. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here if your in the Carmel area…we will certainly be back 👌

The Artist's Treehouse was perfect for us! The location in Carmel Valley is perfect for Carmel, Monterey, and Big Sur. And the apartment has everything you need! Host is super helpful and accomodating, and made excellent recommendations. Don't miss Point Lobos State Park!

We were able to enjoy a few peaceful days in the Treehouse. The area is very safe and quiet yet close to wonderful places to visit in Monterey and Carmel. We especially enjoyed watching birds off the deck

We both enjoyed our stay very much! The design of the Tree House was amazing!!! It was beautiful and private and it had everything that we needed. The owner (an artist) lives next door and she was so informative and helpful. She was a book of knowledge and had great stories, so much fun and also very creative. We loved staying in the valley so close to the village. Gorgeous area and delicious food at the restaurants. Rustica was our favorite. A highlight was the hike of Point Lobos along the coast; a "must do". We would love to come back to the unique Tree House again! Thank you to Desiree for designing it and offering it to people to enjoy! Wonderful, Pam and Jim

This exactly what we expected. It is a wonderful little studio that is very eclectic and art-forward. If you are looking for a place to unplug and unwind in a place that feels like it’s miles away from anywhere yet close to everything, this is your stay. The host was very helpful and commutative, and while they were onsite, they left us alone to enjoy the retreat.

Great experience. Quiet place to find solitude and just enjoy your surroundings. Less than 30 minutes to Carmel and less than 5 minutes to Carmel Village. The host is very helpful and knows the area very well having lived there for over 40 years. I would stay again for sure.

We loved our stay at Desiree’s treehouse. The place was just as described in the listing. The view was amazing. We loved just sipping wine or coffee on the porch. Desiree was very communicative and was happy to answer any questions about the place or the area in general. She gave great suggestions and was super helpful.

We absolutely loved the treehouse! The location was amazing - everything was perfect. Very comfortable, plenty of space, and the surrounding landscape was just so beautiful. Would definitely recommend this place - it does not disappoint.

This is an awesome, cozy, and whimsical place… perfect for those interested in a special experience. The entire property is a paradise. Be sure to get a tour of the owner’s artist studio and house before leaving. Her work is amazing. We would definitely come back.

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay in this Artists paradise. From the beautiful views of our balcony and the closeness of the Pacific Coast Highway, the trip was amazing and relaxing. Desiree was a gracious host and the rental was as beautiful as the pictures.

Desiree is very knowledgeable about the Carmel area and communicates promptly and well. She's also a very friendly and interesting person. Her Treehouse is comfortable and a great place for 2 or 3 people to use as "home base" when visiting the area.

Desiree was a great host! My husband I stayed in the middle of a rain storm so we didn't get to enjoy the patio as much as we would have liked. It has a wonderful view. The bed is comfy, the place has great lighting and is decently stocked. Quiet and a 3-minute ride to the downtown and every fun restaurant, winery, etc. Thank you, Desiree for letting us enjoy your darling place and for the fun chit chat! :-)
