I honestly wish we could give this property higher than 5 stars. Barbara is a wonderful host, and this home was perfect. Clean, perfect layout, outside waterfront view and a perfect pool. Inside the beds are comfortable, bathrooms very nice and kitchen was awesome. My wife and I have stayed at many vacation properties, and this one checked all of the boxes. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We will be back!!

During my six-week rental, I spent countless hours enjoying the backyard area of this home. The home is situated on a lake (more like a series of wide canals) with a lovely pool that includes a waterfall feature; a comfortable, covered seating area; a fire table with cushioned seating; and a gas grill with an outdoor table and chairs near it. This backyard area is truly outstanding!

This was a wonderful break in routine for my Aunt. We brought her over for home cooked meals and the wonderful water views. We all, including our Australian Shepherd, enjoyed the visit and staying in a very personal residence.

Location, location, location! This property was not only relatively close to my mother who lives in an assisted living home nearby, but having the water in the back yard made this property very enjoyable! My husband fished almost every day or early evening and caught and released fish each time. We were able to prepare and serve a beautiful Christmas dinner for my mother, as the kitchen has everything we needed and being able to order the groceries for delivery made it a perfect Christmas day! We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Arizona to see family.

Everything about this place was great. Owner, accommodations and location. The property has everything you need for an extended stay or just a weekend. Shopping is close as well as activities, frankly you don't even need to leave the backyard. Highly recommend this home if your coming to the Phoenix Area! Thanks Curt and Linda

Our stay over Thanksgiving week was perfect! We live in the mountains in CO but I am a water girl at heart so to have my morning coffee outside by the lake was the best way to start my day!! We enjoyed the home very much-from the pool, lake and the spacious living area, we could not have asked for a better place to spend with our family for Thanksgiving!! The home is in a great neighborhood and is close to grocery stores, all kinds of shopping & restaurants. The hosts are very responsive to questions etc and are lovely to work with! We would definitely stay here again!

The place was great. A beautiful view to wake up to in the am. A lovely lake to peer out upon over morning coffee or evening wine (if that’s your thing). The pool was nice and clean, no awfulChlorine smell. The house is uniquely decorated and we found something new to admire nearly every day. Our hosts were responsive, pleasant, and courteous. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

It was like being home... except we had a beautiful pool and lake view. It was so relaxing and comfortable, not like being shut up in a hotel. We picked up a lot of meals, didn't want to cook much, but you could have. Spent a lot of time around the dining room table looking out at the beautiful view.

We loved our stay at this great house. We felt at home from the first minute we entered. Especially for us being from Germany this was an interesting, fun place to stay. Lots of decorations, really different from Germany but quite fun! Everything we needed (and more!) was there. The beds were so soft and great to sleep in.
But most of all we really, really loved the backyard, the pool and the lake view! We spent most of our time outside and it was so fun. Really calm, quite neighbourhood. Great location - close to lots & lots of restaurants and shops! We don't have a single bad thing to say - we LOVED it!

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days in October while I had a total hip replacement. Since we would be spending the majority of our time in Phoenix in a Vacation Rental Home, I wanted to make sure we selected one that made us feel like we were on a beautiful holiday each and every day - and what a perfect haven this was! The home was so well appointed but the back patio, pool, and tranquil views were truly above and beyond our expectations. Our hosts, Barbie and Mark, were two absolultely lovely people whose main objective was to make sure we were well taken care of... We could not have asked for more and are ever so grateful that we found this property!

This is our 3rd time staying here. We enjoy our time here. Being on the lake is so refreshing, you forget you're in the desert. The home is conveniently located. Has all the amenities you need. Each time we've booked this home, the home is always clean, well maintained and combfortable. Barbie and Mark are great and make themselves easily available. You won't be disappointed.

In addition to being able to go bass fishin' from this lakefront gem with your own private pool with rocks/waterfalls, this home is very clean, spacious, cozy, beautifully decorated and complimented with all the amenities of your own home. The location is close to all the stores / restaurants you'll ever desire. It is also located conveniently close to the Peoria Sports Complex. We enjoyed a much needed relaxing vacation and Barbara's beautiful home provided everything we would have expected and then some. And the massage chair in the master was an unexpected bonus! You will not be disappointed staying here in this very cool house/location with plenty of scenic photo opportunities. If you are coming to Peoria and the calendar shows the home is available, book it immediately-you will be glad you did. My family will definitely be back on our next visit. Thanks again Barbara for providing a fantastic vacation opportunity!

You will feel like you are staying at a friend's home. Convenient to the 101 loop, we were 5 exits away from the University of Phoenix football stadium and 25 exits away from a hike in McDowell Sonoran Preserve. We took walks thru the neighborhood, and waved to folks from the back deck as they puttered by on their pontoon boats. We were the envy of fellow fans from out of town at the National Championship Football Game with our tailgate setup because we had a full size table, chairs, cooler, and tableware. You don't find that in a hotel room, but you do find that and much more at this VRBO home. Thanks for sharing your home.

My wife and I enjoyed a 4 night stay in Barbie and Mark's wonderful Peoria home to celebrate our birthdays and my upcoming retirement. The outdoor space is better than the pictures show, as we spent most of time in and around the pool. We also found time to put our own kayaks in the lake, and very much enjoyed the surroundings. The rental property is located near everything you could need. We would love to return in the future. Barbie is a pleasure to work with.

We had a lovely stay in this home while we were in town for our son's baseball tournament. The home is well-maintained and comfortable. The view of the lake is incredible. We appreciate the ability to easily cook in the kitchen as well as the wonderful restaurant choices near by. Barbie and Mark are great to deal with. We can't wait for the next opportunity to return.

Barbie was wonderfully helpful as we planned this special escape vacation. My mother, sister, granddaughter and I enjoyed this wonderful home for a week. It is very well located, and equipped for a carefree vacation. The house is everything promised and more. I recently needed to book a QUICK stay in AZ and Barbie went above and beyond to accommodate me and my two teenage grandchildren. The house was beautiful and well maintained. Wonderful for relaxing by the pool or hottub with a good book, or playing with the boys in the swimmingpool. I highly recommend staying at Barbie and Mark's place if you venture to Peoria. AZ!!!!

We enjoyed our 2 month stay at Barb and Mark's home. Since Bob loves being by water and Marilyn loves the mountains, we had the best of both worlds with the location of their home being on a lake. We enjoyed using the hot tub on the starry nites. The view was beautiful, and lounging out on the patio by the pool, taking in the sun and tranquility, couldn't be beat! We found restaurants and shopping to be near by and easy to get to. Barb and Mark were very helpful and gracious in any questions we had. We're hoping to return next year.

We spent a delightful 7+ weeks in this lovely lakefront home. While we were not in the home much due to the circumstances of our visit, it was a wonderful & inviting respite most nights as we returned. The layout, accomodations, beds, pool, and peaceful lakefront setting were perfect for our needs. We truly felt that is was "our home" during our stay. We also had opportunity to correspond with the owners and now we count them among our friends! We thank them for sharing their home and will happily rent again!

There were families of geese cruising down the waterway, and cranes and ducks. There was a turtle that was fascinated with the bobber. It was so relaxing, thank you for a great vacation.
