We have been to Big Sky three times. This house was by far the best! The quality, views and accessibility to trails was perfect. The house was outfitted with everything you could need and did not want for anything. Would love to rent again!

Everything in the house was perfect! We had a great experience with the property manager and the house was huge and very well kept! We had Mountain View’s and loved sitting outside by the fire! The kids loved the hot tub and game room! We even had a private chef come to the house and prepare a meal for us which was amazing because we all could sit around the dining table together! Thanks for more family memories and making big sky our summer trip destination super enjoyable!

Best ski vacation getaway ever! This house is even better than the photos and was very spacious to comfortably fit our group of 3 families. The views are amazing! The kids bunk/game room was great for the older kids to sleep and play in and the location of it in the house was perfect to allow for some quiet time/conversation amongst the adults. The ski in/out location was perfect and we all definitely took advantage of the trail bring right outside the door! The kitchen was well equipped for that chef in your group who wants to whip up a quick breakfast or make a gourmet meal for the group.
Mariusz was amazing and the ideal host. He was what made this trip so seamless and perfect for our group. He was responsive to all of our questions and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. Thank you so much, Mariusz! We have stayed in numerous rental homes and worked with many hosts and you have exceeded all of our expectations. We can't wait to return to Big Sky!

The house is great for a big group looking to enjoy big sky in seclusion. Up high passed the resort, the house is close to the lone mountain basin. Great views of the Spanish peaks. Mariusz was super accommodating and took good care of us. Would highly recommend

beautiful rental property
We had a lovely visit at this property. It is certainly one of the nicest in the area, very well made and laid out. Beautifully decorated and appointed with everything you would need. Management is so helpful and friendly, Mariusz is indeed a pleasure to work with. The area is quiet and the views are lovely. We will definitely be staying here again.

This is the 2nd year in a row we stayed @ 10 Hackamore with my large family. We are addicted. Mariusz, the property manager was great. I don't think my family will ever want to stay anywhere else in Big Sky but here!

Fantastic, very large property with great ski in-out location and every amenity you could wish for. We have stayed in Big Sky 3 times and this was easily the best house we have rented. Hope to return at some point for another visit!

Fantastic home! Superb location near Big Sky. We were able to ski in and ski out which was was a big plus. Home is very well appointed and management team was very accommodating and responsive to any questions. We would stay here again!!

Truly a Home Away from Home
Our family of 6 adults and 2 children enjoyed this home as our own during a week in July. It is tastefully decorated in a cabin feel at the bottom of a mountain with stunning views. The home is fully stocked in the kitchen and the two washers, dryers and dishwashers made our stay easier. Everyone thought their beds and pillows were very comfortable and everyone had their own bathrooms as well. Since one of our families has two small children, ages 5 and 3, it was great for them to have a wing to themselves with two bedrooms so they could be near the children but away from others. The outdoor fireplace and jacuzzi area was a great way for us to spend an evening together in the cool Montana air.
The travel to Yellowstone park was an hour away which we did twice and found Big Sky to be a great choice as our home base. We also took advantage of Big Sky Resort's basecamp and pool area, which is very close, and the kids loved it.
Our grandchildren loved looking out the large picturesque windows and spotted a young moose, two buck deer and an overly curious chipmunk family on our stay. We all fell in love with Montana and Trails End and we are already planning our next stay in this lovely home.

WONDERFUL!!
This home is even better in person. Very accommodating for our group of 11, with room to spare. The owners have thought of everything...double washing machines and dryers in large laundry room, fully stocked kitchen with 2 coffee pots and everything else you'd need to cook a full meal, great layout, beautiful furniture with antique accent pieces, large dining room table with seating for all 11 of us, a chess table, etc. The outside deck, fireplace, seating, tables, hot tub, etc., were all fabulous as well. We spent every evening and morning outdoors. The location is also nice. If you are familiar with Big Sky, this house sits at the base of the Challenger lift. Great hiking from the house. The house is large and very quiet. Saw wildlife right out back and front of house. A female and male moose! The house is not air conditioned, but don't let that deter you from renting this gorgeous home. You open the screened windows and let the fresh air cool you down. It's a 15 min drive down to Town center area where you will find shopping, concerts, movie theater, restaurants and grocers. Mariusz, the property manager, is very helpful. He referred us for whitewater rafting, hiking, horseback riding, fly fishing.....anything you need help with, he's available. Not to mention he is pleasant. Plenty of parking, and also a 3 car garage. Above the garage is the bunk room which has a pool table, 4 bunk beds, and a private bath. We would definitely recommend this home for a rental, and will rent this home again when we return.

Family Time At Trails End in Big Sky
August 18, 2018
We planned for a year to put together a special gathering for our family of thirteen in Big Sky, Montana.The day we read the review and saw the pictures of "Trails End", we knew our search was over and our journey had begun! From the moment we showed interest in this amazing house the information and the welcoming attitude was sooo helpful. Mariusz, who is such a special person, walked us through everything, visiting us an hour after we arrived to personally welcome us and made sure all our needs were taken care of and were they ever!! He always made us know we had made the right decision. As we waited in great expectancy over the next months to finally gather in this home, it became a reality on August 1, 2018.
Each individual in our family, from ages of 7 years to 81 years old, were simply blown away by what we found. This home had every single thing anyone would want! It was created with such beauty and intentionality, not missing a detail. Everything had been artfully and lovingly chosen, as if they were choosing for themselves, and in doing that, it did not lack a thing! Of course, the outdoor environment was created by our Creator, but everything that was done only added to the wonder of Big Sky itself. So many beautiful walking trails nearby and then trips, of course, to Yellowstone and its Magnificence.
We made such loving and wonderful memories in this home and it will always be a beautiful part of our families lives and experiences. Thank you, thank you to Mariusz and the Owners. We were blessed to have found you!!

Beautiful, Well -Furnished Place
Great setting for a summer Big Sky experience. House in immaculate shape. Every touch considered. Property manager anticipated everything we might need for a party of 15. Kitchen well stocked and ice maker kept coolers filled. Bunk room gave teen age boys a chance to have their own space. 3 masters were all comfortable. Best place I’ve ever stayed and have been using VRBO/ HomeAway for more than 10 years.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house...the best we've ever rented in over 20 yrs of 7 adult annual ski reunion with typically intense focus on gourmet kitchen activities. Loved the fireplace, hot-tub, the ski-in/ski-out and the accommodations overall. Manager provided great customer service and we look forward to returning!

Big Sky Bliss
What a perfect home base for our family's Big Sky adventure! There was ample space and privacy for all 12 of us (from 8 months old to 61), a GORGEOUS setting - inside and out, and special features which added significantly to the enjoyment of downtime between hikes and day trips (pool table, outdoor games, lovely deck fireplace & hot tub). The house had every imaginable convenience, and Mariusz provided superb customer service (warm welcome, great suggestions/local knowledge, quick response to questions, etc.). It was a wonderful experience which we would certainly recommend, and we'd be glad to stay here again - perhaps in the winter to enjoy all the ski-friendly benefits.

Beautiful home
In previous years we have rented cabins, mountain homes and now this property. None have been as easy to ski in/out of or been more beautiful. This is a very well designed and decorated home with lots of sleeping accommodations. Our teenager and his two friends grabbed the "get away" bunk room with pool table. Our older boys took upstairs rooms and thought they were in master suites. Great kitchen, large hot tub. We hope to rent this again!

Fabulous family Adventure!
Our family of 14 stayed in this fabulous home in July. Who would have thought we would get an overnight snow in July??? It made our family trip even more exciting. We loved, loved the layout of the home! The 6 grandkids had so much fun in the "bunk house"----a fun private place for them to hang out and sleep---and play pool, too. The home is beautifully furnished and well-cared for in every way. We did whitewater rafting, fly-fishing, went to Yellowstone, did horseback riding and hiked to Ousel Falls. We hired personal chef, Matt, for a beautiful birthday dinner celebration of bison tenderloin. I can't rave enough about the location and vistas of this beautiful home. And, Mariusz, property manager, is the best! He even ran down the hill with a fresh propane tank when ours ran out in the middle of cooking burgers!

The Best
This was our 10th family ski trip to Big Sky in 11 years, ages 64 down to youngest grandchild age 6...this home is our favorite, no contest. Truly ski in/ski out. The listing description is completely accurate. The cleanliness, the wonderful property manager, the layout of the home, everything is top quality including the gorgeous deck with fireplace and hot tub. A quality kitchen is very important to us as I do big homemade meals every day. We're coming back!

Unbelievable vacation in Big Sky
We had an amazing family trip to this beautiful place in Big Sky. The home is beyond gorgeous with incredible views - and the ski-in/ski-out location superb. The layout of the house is excellent. We had 5 people but could have easily had 10. Anything we needed was taken care of quickly and with just a phone call. Mariusz couldn't have provided better service for us. There was only one problem- one week just wasn't long enough in this paradise. We will for sure go back and hopefully stay longer next time. We were so grateful to have chosen this property. 10 Stars!!

Holy Fashizzle!!
Wow, just wow! Our family of 8 adults gathered after Christmas for a family vacation. Coming from three states, we had the vacation of a lifetime. We arrived at dark and woke up the next morning to the incredible mountain views (with 25 previous days of snowfall) and the most breathtaking sunrise. We all went from window to window yelling with happiness. With so many things about the house to love, our favorite thing was the ski-In/ski-out access.....it can't be beat. During the week we went skiing, snowboarded at Yellowstone, dog-sledded, made s'mores by the fire, played games, gathered in the hot tub, took the snowcat to the dinner yurt and even sledded right outside our door. The way the house is layed out gives the couples their own private space. The owners really care about their beautiful home, it's top-notch! The icing on the cake was the fabulous Mariutz. He is a super cool, friendly dude with a lot of Big Sky knowledge. He was also very prompt in returning emails and phone calls. Matt, the chef, came to fix dinner one night per Mariutz suggestion.....he was oh-so-great!!! The only negative was that we went down the mountain a little too fast and damaged our rented suburban. We always say you gotta have a story.....and we have a story!

the only way you could have a better experience is to rent a helicopter (We heli ski)
