We slept 15 people here for 3 nights, renting the main house and the apartment. The place felt very clean--no dust or dirt anywhere. It is lived in--some of the drawers did have some personal items and the fridge/freezer had quite a bit of food in them but this did not affect our enjoyment. Cecilia was available to us, answered texts promptly and cared that everything was to our liking which we appreciated.

We spent a weekend here with family and hosted a lunch with friends. The house is large and beautiful, and the grounds are private and lovely. There was plenty of space to gather and also find some seclusion, if desired. We had a great time and hope to return for another stay at some point.

We rented both the main house and the apartment, and it was perfect for our large gathering. The house has so many charming details. It's very spacious and allowed us to gather comfortably in a variety of places. We also enjoyed the piano and the outdoor patio/fire pit. Everyone slept well, too. I recommend it!

The house is beautiful. It is very spacious, great for family/ friend gatherings. Location is convenient. And they have VCR! kids all had a great time watching Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan after dinner.
The only thing was that there was a wasp nest on the ground right next to the house which was a bit scary for the kids. Hope it has been removed. The grill and kitchen sink were also not in best condition during our stay. But I get it that a big place like this is hard to maintain.

Our family gathered in the house for our Mom's 95th birthday. The house and grounds are beautiful, and the open floor plan, with the kitchen, sitting room, and dining table all in one open space) made it possible for us to be together and have separate conversations. Perfect for family party.

The house was clean and spacious and perfect for our large family gathering. The owner was responsive and great to work with. We loved the putting green and had a great family golf tournament! The fire pit was also a wonderful addition for our evenings.
Please Note: The house is listed as 5 bedroom/ 4 bath for 1500 a night , BUT- The 5th bedroom / 4th bath is an additional cost to the price listed. This is a bit confusing because you must go the the drop down information in order to see this in the fine print.
I thought I had rented 5 bedrooms from the beginning and was very grateful that the owner reached out to me a few weeks before our trip and let me know that I had only rented the "main house" which was only 4 bedrooms and 3 baths which would not have worked for our group. Plus, I would not have wanted other people on the same property at the same time. So, just make sure you know what you are renting and the cost.
We had a wonderful time and I would rent again.

large estate property in a gem of a neighborhood! Beautiful grounds and pool! Large kitchen and patio areas made it easy for our extended family to gather & converse. The number of bed spots didn’t seem to exactly coordinate with the listing. For example, Says there’s a room with 2 queens, a king, and a futon but there wasn’t the second queen. It all worked out and we had a nice time overall but wanted future visitors to be aware of checking on the number of sleeping spots.

Birthday Celebration and Family Reunion
My husband asked for a special family reunion to celebrate his 85th birthday. This very beautiful home was the perfect setting for our family. As our daughter's family was unable to join us so we were 5 adults and 5 teens enjoying the 5 bedroom estate. We all loved the setting and privacy. The pool, garden, board and card games, croquet games, ample indoor and outdoor space all provided treasured memories for everyone. Our host, Cecelia, provided folding tables so we could have our meals together. She also suggested hiking and running trails as well as answering questions regarding the estate and promptly responding and resolving a small problem. It was just a delightful experience.

Beautiful, Expansive, Clean House in Serene, Upscale Neighborhood
Cecelia is an incredible host and made sure to answer all our questions. She was generous to also extend our stay time to 1PM(minimal addle. costs apply). She also made great recommendations to the McNears Beach(can't be missed) and Ill David fine Italian restaurant in downtown(Dining Under the Lights).
Like others have said, pictures don't do justice to portray the huge, fully furnished, sparkling clean Ranch house in a very quiet and rich neighborhood. It is an awesome house for large groups. We were 14 of us and it was absolutely perfect if we included the apartment.
The house has abundant supplies(lots of towels but get a Napkin roll if you are used to Paper towels), plenty cutlery and plates.
Don't miss the Puttting Green to play recreational golf and the beautiful backyard.
Overall, our friends had an amazing time and we will treasure our stay at this house forever and we highly recommend this house as a must stay in and near San Francisco.
Couple of pet peeves from the group.
1. Beds are old and creaky. For those with backpain, the master bedroom and Apartment beds might be sinking in and for light sleepers, if you share the bed the creaking might disturb your partner.
2. When we came, the kitchen smelled like raw eggs we thought due to the dishes not being washed properly in the washer. We ran the dishwasher and then the stink was gone completely.
3. The fireplace could not be used because of a written restriction on the instruction sheet but the fire pit is a great place for fire chats. We absolutely loved that congregation area.

Home Away From Home
This property truly feels like a "home" for guests. I had a larger group of family and friends (12) and the house fit us very comfortably. The backyard is a dream, complete with a fire pit and pool; and completely private and serene. The host and house is wonderful - highly recommend!

This place was spectacular. The pictures really don't do it any justice. Plenty of amenities and activities to keep everyone busy. Everyone had a blast.

Great property and pool
The location and backyard with the pool were amazing. Really relaxing and had a lot of fun in the solar heated pool with our large family gathering. The place is enormous so we never felt crowded. The kitchen is also well stocked with pots and other things you may need for cooking. There’s not a ton of space in the frig given the size of the house and the number of people allowed to stay there - would’ve been nice to have a second frig in the garage but we managed. The only downside were the beds were extremely soft as in you couldn’t get out of them once you sank in so be ready for that if you have back issues. Amazing home
We rented the home for a 50th birthday party with family for a day. The entire home is absolutely beautiful and enormous. The pool, the kitchen and the backyard were beautiful. There’s even a small golf putting area. We regret not spending the night because it was truly a gorgeous home. Cecilia was very responsive, she was flexible and truly a great host. We plan to book again in the future!

Great experience
We had 14 people there for one evening and most of the gathering took place in the kitchenAnd the living room. It never felt crowded. The fire pit in the backyard with a great gathering place for coffee And you feel like you’re isolated in the mountains. Cecelia responds very quickly even if she’s on vacation in Mexico.

Huge house and great outdoor amenities
I wanted to have a staycation with family and be away from crowds due to the pandemic. This property definitely provided us the privacy and social distancing from people and provided outdoor fun for the family. My family enjoyed our time together playing in the pool, having a picnic in the lawn and making s’mores at the fire pit. It’s a huge house/mansion and plenty of room. The decor is an antique farmhouse look. My family did become paranoid as there are lots of huge windows without coverings but it’s our own issue and not necessarily the home. My sister-in-law mentioned that the apartment needed to be aired out as it was stuffy and the bedcovers in the apartment part of the house needed cleaning but there were other blankets available in one of the closets to switch out the bedding if needed. We had cops called on us around 6pm the first night. The sun was still up and we were still at the pool, the neighbors had complained of loud noises but the cops were nice and a said that he didn’t hear anything and we were okay to continue as we weren’t doing anything wrong, we just have to keep it down after 11pm which we went inside by that time. The home was stocked and had everything we needed. The check in and checkout process was easy. The kitchen was awesome and huge and where the whole family got together to eat and talk if we weren’t outside. Overall we enjoyed what the home and property offered and had some great memories with family. Thank you again Cecilia for letting us stay in your home!

Perfect weekend getaway
I rented Cecilia’s property for a birthday weekend with a group of friends. The outdoor space was beautiful and the house was the perfect size for 8 people. I would definitely stay here again, and would likely consider renting out the downstairs apartment if the group was any larger.

July 4th Weekend
Very nice house, accurately presented. Easy to communicate with home owner. The dishwasher was broken, but the homeowner told us in advance, apologized, and offered a complimentary late check out which seemed very fair for an issue mostly outside the homeowner's control. We would rent again.

Gorgeous home!
The house reminded our group of a mansion! Very beautiful layout-- the rooms and common spaces are extravagant yet comfortable, and the grounds were gorgeous. Pool was not usable just because it was too cold to go in! Cecilia is a wonderful host, easy to reach and immediately responsive. I'd recommend the place without reservation!

Beautiful house in a great location.
This is a beautiful house that comfortably accommodated 11 adults and a toddler. The property was very clean and well maintained. It was located just 5 minutes from downtown which was perfect.
The host Cecelia was very easy to communicate with and accommodated most of our requests. Would like to visit again and highly recommend.

Incredible House!
Country Club is a good description for this property. My work keeps me traveling 10 months a year and I always stay in rental properties instead of hotels. on this occasion, I hosted a group of 14 from the UK and we were all taken by how splendid this property is. I'm actually surprised it is offered as a rental it is so nice. It was well suited for our group and I suspect it hosts many corporate events and it can easily accommodate multiple families. The overall bedroom layout, kitchen, patio with fire pit, swimming pool, and open airiness make this a gem of a house. The location is secluded but close to restaurants, cafes, and stores. 5++++ stars!

Beautiful property, great for groups
Cecilia was very communicative and the property was great for our group. Plenty of space. Well kept. Easy directions for cleaning up before leaving.
Only trouble we had was trying to fit some ice cream we bought in the freezer, which was pretty full, but not a huge deal.

Great stay for family vacations
My family stayed here since we were attending my wedding in Mill Valley. It was a great house to stay in and have everyone in the family together. We enjoyed the spaciousness, pool, bonfire pit, and the amenities. The host was also very hospitable.
