We loved staying at this beautiful, well equipped home. It’s our second time in this neighborhood and it’s our favorite in the Waikoloa area. Great communication before and during our stay, we’ll be back!

The condo was well laid out to accommodate all six, when my daughters walked in the door they replied with how beautiful! A perfect way to start their vacation. Everything you need for the beach in the garage, thank you. Most down time was spent there at the pool when not zip lining by the waterfalls. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. From the moment we reserved the unit, until the very end of our visit, the experience was seamless. Thank you for the helpful suggestions for activities/sightseeing, etc and for being responsive with additional questions. The property and location were perfect for our needs. My friends, if you are going to the Big Island, we highly recommend this location. The hosts are truly thoughtful, kind and so attentive. They provided fantastic dining options and great suggestions of things to see and opportunities to learn more of the culture of this extraordinary island. The unit itself is very large and candidly, the pictures just do not do it justice. (Although these thoughtful hosts did a great job) you’ll just have to feel the happy energy here to understand what I mean. The rooms are large and well equipped. The kitchen is a gourmet chef‘s dream come true, and they even ensured that there are so many different spices and oils to use for cooking, not to mention a fantastic grill that my husband utilized quite often. The bathrooms are all large and fully equipped with blow dryer’s straighteners, lit magnifying mirror and the best shampoo/conditioners /soaps that smelled like coconuts, I loved it! We were so impressed and everything was in its place, everything you could think of that you would want for a brilliant and super fantastic trip, in Hawaii was right in the garage. It had everything from different size umbrellas for the beach to beach mats/snorkel gear/boogie boards, you name it, it was there for you to utilize. Also, they have this fantastic arctic cooler that my goodness all I had to do was put one frozen square in it, and it kept everything very cold the whole day, and there was plenty of room for drinks/snacks and anything you can think of you would take during the day as you go on your mini adventures around the island. The beds are super comfy and the linens are very soft and a high thread count so you feel like you’re just sleeping on a cloud, which is ever a delight when you’re traveling. Another really neat feature to this unit is that it has its own private club that has a three tiered pool that makes you feel like you’re in your own private pool but it’s just a massive pool at different elevations, and just adjacent to it is a fantastic bar with a wonderful restaurant and you’re overlooking the ocean. It’s just beautiful scenery all around you. Not to mention fantastic outdoor gym, so to speak, weights, and cardio equipment with the sliding doors open so you get that nice cool ocean breeze as you’re working out, it’s such a delight. I promise the minute you walk in you feel like you’re home, and in the best and most fantastic way.

Our family of 5 adults and 16 month old grandson spent 10 glorious days at this beautiful paradise away from home. Traveling with a toddler we had a lot of questions prior to our trip and Richard was extremely responsive and helpful. His team responded immediately when we discovered the infant pack 'n play was missing from our rental and brought us one quickly. The views and close proximity to the pool are 2 of the property highlights. This specific unit has 1 of the best views of the entire complex. With our binoculars we were able to see whales frolicking in the ocean. The master bedroom deck provides a glorious morning coffee retreat overlooking the golf course and ocean. We would definetly stay here again. If you are looking to have a family getaway on the Island of Hawaii, we highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at this wonderful unit. Their are direct views of the ocean, golf course and the gorgeous sunsets from the lanai. The owner was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The two lanais were wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked with almost everything you would need. The restaurant & bar at the pool is a nice touch. Perfect for a working couple to up to six people.

The property was lovely. Stairs are required for front door entry. Master is upstairs. BEAUTIFUL ocean and golf course view! The home had every cooking utensil and water toy we needed! Close enough to groceries, shopping and restaurants.

We loved our stay on the Big Island. The condo was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved the ocean view!

The condo was perfect for my family while we stayed on the Big Island. It was very clean, well maintained, and had a very nicely stocked kitchen. It had a very nice view of the ocean and was a 2 minute walk from the Ocean Club (fitness center, pool). The entire area was very safe and the grounds around the property were also kept immaculate. We definately would recommend this property to people with families.

One of the best things you can hear from your wife after you arrive at the lodging you have booked, is that it is much better than she anticipated and perfect for us. Indeed we chose it because it was near the pool that our teens wanted to hang out at and had a restaurant right beside it where we could get what turned out to be fantastic food and drink whenever we wanted, all with the ocean laid out at our feet. We made sure the snorkel equipment, beach mats and boogie boards got used but mostly enjoyed being in a great spot to explore by foot the local area or by car to get everywhere on the island.

This place has everything need on a hawaiian vacation. From views,location , to owner response. Simply top notch. You won't want to rent any where else.

This one sets a high bar! Had a special week with my mom, sister, niece and nephew at this gorgeous immaculate home. Even before we arrived, Richard provided helpful info including a sample itinerary that gave us lots of great places to eat, sightsee and play. Arrival was easy and walking in the front door was Wow. Beautifully designed and furnished, CLEAN, and gorgeous views. Upstairs lanai loungers were a favorite. Nice space to hang out together and enough room for everyone to have quiet down time too. Kitchen well stocked with lovely dish sets. We had one question on our first morning, Richard responded with a solution literally in 4 mins. The pool was stunning and great place to hang out, the staff at clubhouse / bar were delightful. Thank you so much, Richard! We will definitely be back!

Came in with a couple of buddies for fishing and golf. Host was great on answering questions quickly. Condo was very clean, and comfortable. We golfed in the resort. Fishing was out of the Honokohau Harbor, about 30 minutes away. Had a great time. Will stay here again, for sure!

The photos of this condo do not do it justice. It was absolutely perfect for our family of 5! The views were spectacular. Richard was so helpful and accommodating from the time we booked it until we checked out at the conclusion of our trip. The pool is just a short walk from the condo and was magnificent. Would highly recommend this condo for anyone visiting!

Accommodations were fantastic, even better than described. Incredible views, very comfortable beds and community was perfect. The pool club was great for our kids. Host was extremely responsive and helpful, even with some last minute travel changes. I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again.

Richard's place in Hali'i Kai was the perfect spot for my family to stay during our visit to the Big Island. The location is great--just a short stroll to the pool and restaurant where the 2-year old in our party loved to splash and the adults enjoyed many pina coladas. The condo was clean and was well stocked with dishes, spices, towels, and all the various and sundry items you need when traveling with a little one (pack and play, high chair, Richard even purchased a baby gate to accommodate us). The garage was also loaded with everything we needed to enjoy a day at the beautiful nearby beaches (boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrellas). And the lanais, with their glorious ocean views, were perfect for sipping coffee in the morning and reading a book in the afternoon. Richard responded quickly to all our questions and was the perfect host. Highly recommend.

This unit is beautiful and has fabulous ocean views. It is very close to the pool and exercise facility, and the pool / restaurant staff are WONDERFUL. The pool and ocean views from the pool are gorgeous! We love Hali’i Kai!! Richard, the owner, is very attentive and available. He does a great job ensuring the comfort and happiness of his guests. Overall, we loved our stay and thank Richard for being an amazing host! Mahalo!!

Beautiful property, well maintained and provisioned, responsive and courteous property manager. Amazing views, great location near the Ocean Club and pool. Halii Kai 16g was the perfect home base for our Big Island adventure. I hope we can visit again!

My family of four spent a few nights here at the end of our trip to the Big Island. This place is well stocked with everything you need (for the kitchen or the beach), comfortable, and clean. The views are even better in person, especially from the master lanai. I could have spent all day at the pool watching the whales off shore, this was the perfect place to be for sightings. The location is also excellent with it's proximity to shops, restaurants, and amazing beaches. Communication from Richard was great, he sent a sample itinerary when we first booked, and checked in upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. We hope to be back!

The property is very nice, will kept and clean. The condo units are everything the listings says it is. We had two units in the same building and the same owner. Both are very nice units with plenty of room for everyone. We love this area and the accommodations, this is our families third stay at Hali'i Kai. You won't be disappointed if you book a vacation here.

Our stay was fantastic! Great location, well equipped condo, pretty views. We enjoyed the Hali’i Kai pool, restaurant (without a doubt the best pork nachos I’ve ever eaten!), and open air work out cabana with incredible views overlooking the ocean. I even witnessed a whale breach while working out on the elliptical! Interestingly, because of Covid, many of the restaurants were not open, or closed early because of staffing issues. I think that’s a problem that is found everywhere these days, unfortunately.

We had an incredible time at Hali'i Kai! Our expectations were far exceeded by the unit (16G). When you base your decision on photos and descriptions, you never know what you'll get, but this unit has views that the photos don't do justice to. During our stay, we had access to all of the amenities we needed. Richard was a pleasure to work with; he was communicative and quick to respond when we had a question about the WiFi. The resort restaurant served surprisingly good food, but service was extremely slow due to a staff shortage. Despite the fact that the service was slow, they were extremely kind and patient. The pool was fantastic, despite being quite crowded all day, and was well worth the great views and whale sightings. When we return, we will undoubtedly stay here again.

This unit was great for a multi-gen family vacation; the two-story layout meant there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The location of this unit in the complex was great, especially with a toddler - it was a quick walk to the pool (and an easy walk back if we forgot something!). We loved the views from both lanais - the whales put on a wonderful show by day, and by night we enjoyed wine and cocktails with the sunset.

This place was magnificent!!!! Immaculate, well stocked, even beyond with normal stuff, owner in touch constantly with updates and what needs to take place before you arrive and after, perfect place to watch daily sunsets, equipped with beach stuff (chairs and beach towels) and BIKES, pictures are exactly what you can expect. Magnificent experience!!! Hopefully we will be back to this very location soon.

Checking in was a breeze! The host called to check up on us to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. The place is beautiful and we enjoyed very much.

Property owner was very pleasant and easy to get a hold of if needed.
