We loved the house and its location!

Great location

The location is excellent, easy walking distance to the Banzai pipeline, a few minutes drive to Sharks Cove and Waimea Bay. The house is small. The loft is only accessible by ladder and has a very low ceiling. It is not possible to stand up. Kids will love it but adults will probably be claustrophobic. Pay close attention to the fine print: they charge extra for air conditioning.

Loved the beach front view of this house. Location!!
We experienced a few issues with the house after check-in, the fridge stopped working and we were out of electricity for a few hours. Communication from the host could be BETTER especially for the money we paid per night. We stayed for 5 nights.
Overall, we enjoyed the house and the beach this house has to offered.

We had a great stay. For a beach house of this size, you really can’t do better on the North Shore. Match? Maybe. Beat? Don’t think so. If you’re debating saving money staying on the other side of Kam Highway, stop. Being on the beach, the views of the sunset and proximity to the ocean are with every penny x10.
Re. The cockroaches, like the owner says, this house is in the country. If you leave the doors open at night with the lights on, it’ll attract bugs. We didn’t have any issues and the house certainly doesn’t have an infestation. Nothing close to it. It’s well-kept.
The only downside during our trip was that there were construction workers next door every day, even through the weekend. Looks like construction won’t last much longer (I’d bet it’s done by end of 2022) and we didn’t let it hinder our experience too much, but certainly not ideal.
Last point: was great to have fins and a few beach accessories at the house. This house is on the world-famous Pipeline break. If you’re not experienced with big waves, you won’t be swimming out front of the house. But plenty of other world-class beaches nearby that are more haole-friendly. 😜
Cheers

The property was perfect. Exactly as advertised and the host was amazing as well. Loved the location and everything else about the house and property. Would definitely return to this house. Great sunsets and being right on the beach was wonderful. House was spotless and exceeded expectations.

We had a terrible experience. We booked a stay for two weeks and discovered a heavy roach infestation several days into our stay.
The property owner’s response- “The North Shore is the country and not the city so there’s going to be cockroaches especially because of the warm climate.”
That should be listed in the property description.
He did allow us to leave- and refunded the portion of our stay that was unused after we provided proof of the infestation, but his response and the situation itself- put a huge damper on our entire trip.

Unforgettable Stay!
Location is perfect! We enjoyed watching the surfers and perfect sunsets right from the balcony! House was very clean and perfect size for my husband and I for our honeymoon. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook. The area is centrally located to many great beaches and just a short drive to Haleiwa! We can’t wait to come back and will try to stay here again!

Waves and sunsets
My wife and I had a wonderful experience with this rental. We loved looking towards the ocean and very happy that the whole front of it was windows to see the ocean. Such a beautiful view and we could sit and watch the surfers all days. This is such a peaceful side of the island and we enjoyed the large living room. We have really missed the sounds of the waves and all the nearby activities and the other beaches we visited while we were there for the two weeks. Thank you William and Betty! We’ll be back!

Great waves
Loved the location and the property itself. Having the bigger yard was a plus. Quiet area after 9pm. Can hear the rumble of the waves when the swell is rising. Great views of pipeline! The beach is amazing all the way north and south. Great walking path of your calves are burning from walking in the sand :)
Wish the kitchen had better pots and pans, silverware and small wears and knife set for cooking. We loved everything else about the house setup and upgrades. Will love to rent again in the future, you’re staying at a house amongst the elite surfers in the world. What an experience to say the least!!

Heaven on Earth
This was absolutely perfect. Me, my wife and two boys try to come to Hawaii once per year and have settled on the North Shore of Oahu as our favorite area and the location of this property is ideal.
The beach is stunning - a real beach too, not a few feet of sand in a picture shot at low tide. This is a wide sandy beach with sandy entry into the water and no strong currents in late July. There are fish and turtles frequently. If you want more fish etc, just head a mile up the road to Sharks cove. If you want the excitement of jumping off the rock, go just a bit more and you have Waimea Bay and the big rock. Foodland is right there too so you can get food, sunscreen etc.
The house also has a nice big lawn for kids to play on. We bought an inexpensive volleyball/badminton set at Walmart and had great family competitions most days. Once you've worked up a sweat - head to the ocean and rinse off in the outside shower!
If you want a quick hike to get your blood moving - the Pillboxes hike is a half mile away and will take you up to some nice views of the coast.
Inside the house looks identical to the photos and was perfect size for our group. Normally we'd leave the windows and ceiling fans on and on the nights where the loft was a bit too warm, there was AC available.
William was quick to communicate and his father even helped us out on the day of departure - a real gentleman.
Hope to come back soon!

This house was amazing. Off the main highway and right on the beach.
The beach in front of the house felt like a private beach. There was rarely anyone on the the beach in front of our house. The house had everything we needed for our family of 4. Loft room with 2 beds, and a roll away bed and a separate bedroom. Food trucks for dinner and take back to watch sunsets on our private deck.

In order to plan the perfect Hawaiian getaway, one that would put my dreamy honeymoon to shame, I channeled my inner Monica from Friends. I researched for days, cross-referencing every review site and travel blog and adventure listicle under the sun. With enough historical, and geographical information to give Lewis & Clark a run for their money, it was decided that Oahu was the place to be. We came across this beachside bungalow and were instantly charmed, it also checked off all the right amenities. The stunning pictures do not even do it justice. An expansive grassy yard, fully gated, 100 yards from the sand and the glorious ocean? Are you kidding me?! Paradise, we know her now. If you’re familiar with Los Angeles, North Shore is quite similar to staying in Malibu with its picturesque views and ideal location equidistant to nature, the city, local mainstays, and the historic town of Haleiwa when it’s time to shop. From this perfect bungalow, our access to activities sounds downright fictional. On land, we bike, hike, and discover local food trucks. On the water, we boat, kayak, snorkel, swim with turtles, and watch dolphins (yes, dolphins) splash in the surf. Best of all, the owner is kind, gracious, accommodating, and treats us like family (ditto for the local contact Betty). Even when Hurricane Douglas threatened to roll through, we felt looked after and as though we were truly part of the community. This place is pure magic and I couldn’t recommend it more. That is, if we ever leave and let someone else enjoy it in our place.

Excellent Property!
This was a great house in a great location. We were close to great snorkel spots like sharks cove and turtle bay. We even snorkeled with a turtle right out in front of the house. The grocery store is close and they have everything you need to set up for the week. Plus they have the best Poke. Lots of food trucks all around if you need abreak from cooking. Haleiwa is also close and has great shopping and Matsumotos shave ice. My kids 10 and 12 loved the loft area and the master bedroom is nice and spacious. Air conditioning was a must as you get pretty warm with the afternoon sun coming in the windows. Thanks for the great memories.

Awesome Location, Beautiful House
This house was perfect for our family of four. The location was awesome, right on the beach, and close to food trucks as well as restaurants and shops in Haleiwa. The house itself is lovely, with all the amenities you could need, including a nicely shaded running/walking path out front. The kids loved sleeping in the loft upstairs. We definitely plan to return again in the future!

Pupukea Paradise
Fantastic location, a dream for a couple looking to get away and experience the beauty of Hawaii.
With such a spectacular view from the many glass windows in the main living area it does mean it can get hot so make sure to get the Aircon.
Mahalo William, we had a great week away in your property!

Beautiful Home, Spectacular Location
This charming beach front home is lovely inside, with amazing views, complete with gorgeous sunsets on one of our all-time favorite beaches. The loft was a little cozier than we thought it would be, but still worked well. It's also very private and secure. We got many hours of water time in, and rode bikes (rented for the week from North Shore Bike Rentals) from Ted's Bakery to Shark's Cove along the bike path right outside the back gate. We were sad to leave; and hope to return soon.

Perfect week on the north shore
Location can’t be beat! The house was clean and well taken care off but we spent all of our time on the patio. The first few days the water was calm and the beach/ocean in front of the house was perfect for swimming. The last couple days the waves got huge and the surfers were right out front! So cool to watch.
We had 5 night stay and it had everything we needed...plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Only thing we found ourselves wanting was some lounge chairs. The bar height chairs on the patio were very comfy and but would have been nice to be able to stretch out (maybe on the yard?). The Foodland right down the street was very convenient and had everything we needed for eating most meals at home.
Overall it was the perfect vacation. We fell in love with the north shore and will definitely be back!

Relaxing beach getaway
This lovely beachfront house was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway for my husband and me. It is directly on the beach and is a nice walk in either direction. We jumped into the water right out front of the house but I suspect it can be dicey so be cautious of the currents/waves.
This property does sleep 5, and has 2 full bathrooms, but there is only one real bedroom. There is a pull out sofa in the living room and a loft that I was very glad not to have to climb up to. Otherwise it was well equipped. I especially was glad for the washer and dryer and the AC ( at an extra cost ...read inner description on site)
My favorite was sitting on the porch reading ,watching the waves and people walk by.

Wonderful!
My husband, 8 year old daughter and I had a wonderful time at the Pipe House. We appreciated the luxury of being right on the beach. Having never done this before, it was truly an awesome experience. We went in early April and the waves were still too large for us to go swimming and the wind blew the sand around a little which made it difficult to lie out on the beach, but we were able to wade into the ocean up to our ankles and take lovely walks along the beach. We spent time on the porch watching the surfers and saw amazing sunsets. The house was clean and comfortable. We chose to add the air conditioning which helped a lot with some of the humidity we experienced while we were there. (The windows in the front of the house do not open for a cross breeze.) We preferred to drive to Mililani for shopping at Walmart and the grocery store over going to the local Foodland. We had a little glitch not receiving the email with the property entry codes for arrival, but that was handled quickly. William and his property manager, Betty were professional and very nice. I would recommend this home to couples or small families. I hope we can stay there again.

Super beach house, super location
The Pipe Beach House is in a super location right on the Banzai Pipeline and right on the sand! Sit on your front deck and watch the surfers do battle with the big waves, or step off into the sand and enjoy the ocean! The house is on a walled-in lot with locking gates and very secure parking. Recently remodeled, it has modern appliances and electronics, and good WIFI. A large grocery store (Foodland) is one mile down the road. William is a great host, lives nearby, and is always available for questions or any other issues that may arise. We enjoyed our six day stay in his house and highly recommend it for a great experience on the iconic O’ahu North Shore!

AMAZING LOCATION - SWEET HOUSE
The location couldn't be any better. The entire living/kitchen area is open to the ocean view. We sat on the porch for hours, grilling, watching surfers and big waves. We had little desire to leave the property, so we didn't! We're already planning a trip for next year, to stay again. Love love love.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at this house. It really made the whole trip so much better. The location was insane. The house was the cutest. We didn't even want to leave. We will most likely book this property again!

Why stay anywhere else?
This beach house is amazing. The location is perfect....short drive to Foodland for groceries and a few food trucks, beach literally right outside the front door, and a quick drive into Haleiwa Town. The house is clean and very well stocked with everything you could need. The beach is quiet, not at all crowded as compared to other nearby beaches. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the lanai reading, talking, and enjoying the view.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. When booking William was very quick to respond. We only had one issue with a key while there and both William and his Property Manger Betty were great. Can't really ask for anything more. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

Beautiful beach, great property
Beautiful home perfectly situated on the postcard worthy and secluded pipeline beach. We typically stay in Waimanalo but decided to try something new and stay on the North Shore. Great experience.

Close to perfect
The location is perfect. Beachfront. Peaceful. But remote, and terrible cell service. Do not rely on you app to get you into house, and cell calls drop easily.
Luckily William was close by to be of service.
A/C is a must in the hot humid summer, as front windows don’t open to capture the breeze.
The king bed is old and needs replacing, lumpy and can feel sprigs with 2 large wells to trap you.
Parking is great, and it is possible to fit 3 small cars and close gate.
Traffic can be terrible, and it would be nice to have more than one bicycle available to ride. It was nice to have some beach things on the side of the house by the outdoor shower.
The kitchen is decently equipped, and the dishwasher is perfect while on vacation. With not many dining options nearby, cooking at the house is handy. Outdoor grill was great.
Overall, this is a wonderful beachfront rental. We enjoyed a week there, and would rent again.
We are still waited by to get our deposit returned after 2+weeks post departure.
