Noleggia una barca per le feste dal porto turistico locale per attrezzarti attorno al nostro bellissimo lago con ville a nord e più flora / fauna a sud. Abbiamo un sacco di parcheggio.
Ad essere onesti, il lago non è pronto per il nuoto fino a metà giugno a meno che tu non sia un'anima molto resistente! Prima di allora adoriamo prendere il sole sul molo e andare in barca. L'autunno è una delle stagioni più belle e tranquille per godersi questo ritiro privato. Questa proprietà ha una strada stagionale. Se c'è neve nel tardo autunno / all'inizio della primavera, rimborseremo felicemente il tuo deposito in quanto non possiamo garantire l'accesso in quanto la strada non è arata.

The surrounding property and home is beautiful. It was so lovely to relax in the mornings soaking in the view and in the evenings as well. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked - we were five in our party. As mentioned in previous reviews the road can be a little tricky at night as it is narrow and winding - just take your time. It is about a 30 minute drive to the town of Skaneateles but we thought the drive was scenic. Would absolutely recommend and return to this property.

From the moment we walked in, we were wowed by the home and the view. It was a great fit for the 9 adults in our group but would also be fantastic for a few families with kids of any ages. We were impressed by every aspect of the house and it's lakefront location. We also enjoyed the firepit that was lakeside a few of the nights we were there.
We would deifinitely book this again!

Such a beautiful home for our college friends reunion weekend! Pictures do not do it justice. Everything is updated and perfectly decorated. Great outdoor hang out areas with views of the lake! Easy access to the water and so much equipment to use. Fit 9 adults and 4 small children nicely- play area in basement was great! We especially enjoyed the open concept kitchen/living area. Easy drive to downtown with many local attractions- Anyelas winery and Mirbeau spa (highly recommend!). Would love to stay again.

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful, picturesque, and comfortable property. The views "wow" you and a feeling of tranquility carries from the Lake all the way through the house. I am so happy we selected this property for our weekend rest and relaxation getaway with friends.
The house was spotless on arrival, we found everything we needed, the info provided was helpful, and everyone in our group was pleased. The hosts are very caring and it shows. We are already talking about when we will come back!

This home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The views are spectacular.The amenities are generous and were appreciated since there are no shops nearby. We were a group of eight women celebrating our 70th birthdays. The layout of the home allowed us to easily gather together yet have our own separate bedroom space. The walk down the steps to the lake was an exercise that we could manage. We even took two kayaks out for a paddle. Our only problem was the long drive down a washed out dirt road with a switchback to the house. We were so intimidated by the drive that we planned our day so we would only go up the road once and return to the house before dark. Although AWD wasn’t required, it certainly helped us.

Absolutely stunning location with addicting views. The house is as pictured and exceeded expectations. We had 14 people for our family reunion ages 7-83. The stairs to the water were challenging for the oldest couple with mobility issues but they still made it up and down to the lake at least once each day. There are railings and the stairs are wide so that helped a lot. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out. Furniture was all excellent quality and comfortable. Every room has plenty of storage including closets and laundry baskets. Kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. Every appliance works perfectly. Hot tub was amazing. There are enough (quality) beach towels and bath towels for all guests. The driveway is a bit challenging with trailers and a boat. We have a 4x4 vehicle and are comfortable reversing a trailer so we were fine. Just be aware it is a steep gravel driveway with a few tight turns. Probably the best rental we have ever stayed in! Would love to come back.

loved the peaceful views of the lake from two spacious decks! stunning nature setting, with resident bald eagles, to a ravine with soothing water sounds. many amenities, from hot tub with lake views, a boathouse with kayaks, tubes for floating , beach chairs, comfy lounge chairs on the dock, to the lakeside firepit. Inside there are plenty of sleeping quarters and bathrooms for a large group. Host was fabulous with communication and responsiveness as well! provided all that you need for a wonderful
vacation! and Carpenter’s Falls is so close and easy to get to, right up the road from the cottage-nice trail
options and a stunning waterfall!!

We had a wonderful week on Skaneateles Lake in spite of early June rain. The home was comfortable with plenty of comfy spots to hide away with a book. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking all our meals, and we enjoyed lots of time on the two decks and the dock. We brought wetsuits for our kids, and they were able to swim and paddleboard even in early June before the water had warmed up. The property was beautiful and we felt like we were really away from everything. Driving into town was a short, easy drive for little shops and lunch out. Our kids had a blast climbing the waterfall, and we didn't even get close to exploring the whole property.
I highly recommend the trail at Carpenter Falls. It's a great moderate rim trail along the river, starting high at the falls and going down to the lake. My 7 & 10 year old accomplished it without much complaining.
I highly recommend this property for a vacation in the woods trip!

We stayed for a week in July and it could not have been better. We had 5 children and 6 adults and there was plenty of room. The home was beautiful and roomy and the location was ideal. We spent hours in the kayaks provided, fished for hours and roamed around in the downtown area and even attended a concert! the owners were fantastic. They were more than there for us throughout the week! You won't be sorry renting this gorgeous home!

House was great, had everything we needed for our family vacation. The kids loved the kayaks and the “beach” area was a perfect gentle slope into the lake so they could walk and touch along the shore.

It is just as the pictures show. Very beautiful and nice resources like the tubes and kayaks. There was also a raft to swim out to. Very nice.

The house was outstanding, unfortunately we mis read the location and would have preferred to be closer to Skaneatelas village. Maribeth, our Host was fantastic, and stocked the house with paper products, spices and some other goodies. Best rental I have ever had!

The Carlberg's property is amazing!! While not huge, it comfortably fit the 14 of us (ages 5 to 50) perfectly! Very thankful we booked the downstairs bonus room for the kids as that was a great space for them to hang. When we walked in the door, my jaw dropped at the incredible view! I could definitely get used to that view on a daily basis! It was incredible! It was wonderful to not have to bring kayaks as they have 4 there for guests to use. We went from a Thursday to a Sunday and I could have stayed all week. The village is quaint and charming. We grabbed lunch and did a little shopping. I would highly recommend this home, it is gorgeous and well appointed and spacious for even 14 people. There is lots of indoor seating for having meals or playing games or just catching up. Thank you so very much to our hosts, we made some wonderful memories with our friends and family that I am SO grateful for!

This is our second year in a row booking and we could not have been happier! Very well designed home that is so spacious while allowing for perfect areas of gathering or quiet moments depending on your need that day/hour/minute! Hosts have thought of everything and with our family of 11 ranging from 6 months to 63 years old there was something for all! Although it was a rainy stay, this did not stop us from enjoying our stay with campfires, boating, swimming, kayaking, quiet views from the porch and of course some warm/relaxing action in the hot tub.

We absolutely Loved this property. Each year our group of 10 women meet for a long weekend. We could not stop raving about this beautiful and well appointed home. The view was made a huge impression as we walked in the door, and it just kept getting better. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the mattresses are comfortable. We had such a great time at this house that we already booked it for 2024! Where to start - the view! the lake! the swimming! the comfortable living room! the well-stocked kitchen!
It was the perfect space for our two families of four and one extra friend, with a little room to spare. Everything was clean, updated, beautifully styled and thoughtful. We can't wait to get back for coffee on the deck overlooking the glimmering lake.
The water was clean and we swam out to the swimming dock every day, sometimes multiple times a day. You do need water shoes for the zebra mussels, but it's really a wonderful spot to swim, float, or just skip rocks at the shore.
Our host was very responsive before and during our trip and they provided lots of information in their welcome emails and guest book. Would highly recommend!

We had a fabulous vacation staying at Lake Pines at the end of July. The house is beautiful, clean, with plenty of space and very well stocked with everything you would need for a family vacation. The hot tub overlooking the lake was a perfect way to end the day. There is plenty of seating on the large dock with more chairs to be found in the boat house, along with kayaks and inner tubes. The owners are great! Very friendly and helpful-a true pleasure to work with and rent from! The lake although a bit chilly is super clean and peaceful. Wineries, breweries, shopping, hiking and a boat tour of the lake kept us busy when we weren't enjoying the house. We LOVED our stay and we can't wait to go back!

Our family of 9 adults and two toddlers enjoyed a wonderful 7 days on skaneateles. The house is exactly as described. Top of the line amenities, plenty of room inside and out. The extra room with 4 queen beds was a plus. Water is gorgeous. The town of skaneateles is a great area. Looking forward to making this a yearly vacation spot

Everyone enjoyed the house and amenities. Kayacs, fire pit down at the dock and sitting on the dock in the evening with a drink in hand and enjoying the peacefulness of the lake.

Excellent property and location
We wanted a beautiful, quiet spot for a Sibling/Spouse reunion and this fit perfect. The home was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. The kitchen was clean, modern and roomy to work In. The lake was chilly but very scenic. We enjoyed the fire pit several nights. I’d highly recommend.

Serene Upstate Getaway
My wife and I got married in Skaneateles and we stayed at this property during our wedding weekend. We also used the property to get ready for the wedding and even had our first-look photos taken on the dock! We loved staying here! The property is beautiful: The house was immaculately clean, there was plenty of space, the views of the lake are incredible, the fireplace was great for making a cozy little fire during a cool and rainy evening, kayaking on the lake was great fun, and the hot tub was marvelous! We had a wonderful and peaceful retreat and we would love to come back again for family vacations. If you're looking for a picturesque lake house that can accommodate up to 14 people, this is the perfect property. Thank you for a great stay!

The kayaks and hot tub were great, even in the rain, and the big, open kitchen and living area was a perfect place to hang out, relax and cook all day. I would absolutely recommend reading the PDF that Marybeth sends via messages before departing on your trip! Do NOT take Waze as the directions are wrong and lead to treacherous roads. The half a mile driveway to get to the house is also a bit tricky and steep but like the saying says - the best places are the hardest to get to :) I can imagine this spot being amazing in the summer. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.
