Venite a godervi una casa di tronchi ben arredata con 3 camere da letto, situata nel cuore di Maggie Valley e affacciata sul parco a tema "Ghost Town in the Sky", ora in pensione. I panorami sono spettacolari e la casa si trova su un accesso prevalentemente pavimentato con una breve distanza di ghiaia che si trova su una superficie piana appena prima della casa. Si trova su un bel lotto mantenuto con la fine della privacy della strada. Solo pochi minuti nel centro della zona di Maggie Valley.
Entrando nella casa al livello principale in una bella zona soggiorno aperta che dispone di grandi finestre per godersi il panorama. Con il piano piano aperto si apre sulla cucina e sulla sala da pranzo. Il caminetto a gas situato nella zona giorno non è operativo per richiesta del proprietario. Il master dispone di un letto matrimoniale con vasca idromassaggio e doccia con doppio lavabo.

Our vacation at Ghost Town Overlook exceeded expectations. The home is very spacious, layout is superb with separation of bedrooms. There were ample amenities and the home was very clean. Open concept provided plenty of space for our family vacation. The high-end furniture made it feel more like a lodge. The home feels secluded, yet is conveniently close to town.The large, partially covered, wrap-around deck provided superb views of the mountains and functional outdoor living space. We cooked meals using the gas grill and evenings were enjoyed around the gas fire pit. We even witnessed an elk wandering thru the yard.Melissa from Premier Vacation Rentals was very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions in a professional and expedient manner. She definitely went above and beyond!! We will work with her again when revisiting this area and would recommend this location and Premier Vacation Rentals to friends and family.

Cabin was just as described. You can enjoy beautiful views from the windows in the great room and on from the back deck. Has everything you need. Our grandchildren enjoyed s'mores every night over the fire pit on the deck! The only negative thing I would say is the mattresses are little hard and the owner might want to invest in a better mattress for each bedroom. Other than that we would definitely stay here again.

Property is very beautiful. Very clean upon arrival. Check in was very easy. Had several issues during the stay. AC froze up for two days during a heat wave. AC guy had to come out twice. The upstairs stayed hot even when the AC worked. Internet and TV did not work at all. We called several times on the status of getting at least the TV working, but manager only stated that they would contact owner to get it fixed. It was never fixed. I would not recommend unless you only need running water and electricity.

We arrived at the location and had brought our slingshot on a trailer thinking a circle driveway would be great but the driveway is not big enough to turn a trailer. Also there are branches that were so low on the driveway it scraped the top of my Durango. The home is beautiful but you better bring toilet paper, paper towels and any other essentials you want/need. I hope you don’t plan on sleeping well because the beds are very uncomfortable! I had springs from the mattress putting so much pressure on my hips, they hurt for a week after we left. I called the property manager about the tv and internet not working. She blamed the weather and stated she would have to see what the owner would want to do about it. She stated she would call me back. That didn’t happen. Cell reception is awful at this location. So unless you want complete isolation, I wouldn’t suggest this location.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay at this secluded cabin. View is spectacular, cabin had everything we needed. Furniture was great, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend. One con I wish we knew about prior was the fireplace was not operational. Another thing to note is the roadway to the cabin is very steep so glad it didn’t have ice or snow or else I’m sure our AWD SUV would have struggled to make it. Overall great experience.

Loved this cabin. The location was awesome, secluded at the end of the road. There were elk, deer, and turkey roaming about yet we were only 5 mins from the main strip, Soco Road. The view was fabulous sitting in the heart of the valley surrounded by the mountains. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I would mention is the beds upstairs were hard and our guest couldn't even sleep on one of them. I would suggest mattress toppers, and if your particular about pillows I would bring your own. Also, there is nowhere to store your trash outside and no local trash pickup. We had a truck with a bed cover and just stored it there until we left. I would suggest the property managers install a bear box so guests can store trash outside without worrying about critters getting into it. Overall, we were very pleased with this property.

It is a pricey gorgeous, high quality home with numerous wonderful amenities. Our only complaints are the lack of consistent WiFi (not acceptable in today's connected environment) and very poor quality mattresses on all the beds (especially the prime bedroom). The tiny mounted TV and sketchy Dish TV reception didn't really bother us much. Consider a small dining table on the patio and more comfortable deck furniture. Neither the grill or gas fireplace unit had propane in the tanks so were unusable. Overall, it is a beautiful and well appointed home!

Awesome cabin with fantastic views. Plenty of wildlife, the house was very clean, and the rental company was extremely responsive when we found out the grill was out of propane. The road leading to the cabin was a little treacherous for a motorcycle though, as part of it is not paved.

Thus is an awesome place. I would love to stay there again but I am handicapped and it was not wheelchair friendly. My walker wouldn't even fit in the door of the tiny den bathroom. No bars close to toilet or shower. Shower seat barely fit. But, for anyone else, this is an awesome vacation rental! My family loved it! Thank you!

Beautiful cabin in a gorgeous location.
Pictures do not do the cabin justice. It is a cozy, well appointed home with amazing views. The only drawback is little to no internet and no ability to watch television except in the living room. It was a minor inconvenience but all else was great!

The cuckoo cabin
The cabin was perfect, great views, nice interior and fully stocked kitchen. If you have kids this is the perfect place - the TV has a parental control set so that all channels are for 12 and under, but wait! that’s not all, from 1am-7am the cuckoo clock in the dining area will remind you just how much fun you are having

Beautiful views but beds not great
The view was beautiful and the place was very well maintained and clean. The pictures that are online really did match how the house looks. The only issue was the beds, all the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. It was also the first place I rented that did not have toliet paper, you have to bring your own.

Overall good. Issue s with the TV. Finally got it to work but station selection very limited Basically terrible !! It took calling again and again to get the property manager to respond. The rental office is always closed, they give you one phone number and they’re just not responsive

A beautiful cabin nestled in the woods with a great mountain view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are perfectly decorated with a country style. Kitchen is well appointed with all we needed. Beds are comfortable. WiFi is slow but adequate and we were able to stream Netflix on the TV. Close to town and the Blue ridge Parkway. Asheville was about a 45 minute drive during rush hour.

Maggie valley Cabin
This property was a fantastic place to stay in Maggie valley. The towels and linens were new and plush. The views and location to other activities such as rafting, tubing, Waynesville, Cataloochee and exploring waterfalls was perfect. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and a dream to stay in. We saw elk in the back yard and the fireflies lit up the sky at night. We do have a 4wd vehicle and we didn’t find the drive up treacherous in the least. It was very private and secluded and has its own space outside to hike around. I would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to stay there again. Perfect 10 in our book!

Great family cabin vacation
We loved our stay in the Ghost town overlook cabin. It was very spacious and had everything we needed to have a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We especially loved the mountain views and sound of the stream in the distance. This cabin was everything we could ask for and more. Our kids are already asking when we can go back!

This home is the best possible Maggie Valley Rental. Stunning (truly) views both long and short range directly off the porch. Elk everywhere. (We saw more than 15 off the back porch during our stay in the cattle fields across the road). Short trip on good roads to Maggie Valley stores, shops and restaurants. Five minutes in the car or a 10 minute walk to public access fishing. 15 miles to Harrahs and all that Cherokee and the GSMNP has to offer and an easy drive to Cataloochee as well. Walking trails and some old road beds that Elk use daily right out your front door. Some reviewers have dinged this place because the bed linens were not the most luxurious or because the towels were mismatched. Really? You people need to get an actual life..... Get out, view the wildlife, hike, drink coffee and look at that view and don't worry that you used a white towel today but yesterday you used a green one. Some dings have come on the WIFI... Again get a life and welcome to rural properties. The house has Hughesnet internet. Anyone who has ever had to use Hughesnet will tell you that 1. It is expensive and 2. It is horrible. So no one who has any other option would ever consider it. If something else was possible I assure you they would have it. If this really bothers you, get a hot spot on your phone and use that. Cell service was good to excellent. We spent 6 days and 5 nights here and absolutely hated to leave. Did I mention the view and the elk and the convenience? The well appointed kitchen and the propane fire pit on the back deck were fully enjoyed. It was truly a magical trip and the best trip I have had to the mountains in decades. Kudos to the owner and the management company. I have sent the link to this home to numerous people and plan to return annually at least. If I could give you more than 5 stars, I would. Loved the house, location and view! I do agree with other reviews that said the bath towels, kitchen towels and pillows need to be replaced. The bed pillows are stained and most of the towels are threadbare. Replacement of the pillows and towels and the home would be perfect!

Honestly this home is fantastic. I absolutely love it. It has the most awesome outdoor living space with WONDERFUL close range and long range Smokey Mountain View’s. Double French doors in 3 different places leading to the huge covered deck on two sides. Big volume ceilings, very nice kitchen, huge master suite...I could go on and on. I love the place. So easy to get to. It’s perfect - a beautifully built, well-designed, excellent quality log home.

I spent a LOT of money for the privilege of staying at this beautiful mountain vacation home only to have my hands completely tied by super slow, seriously sluggish, nearly non-existent WIFI. Couldn’t work, too slow. Couldn’t play, too slow. Internet so useless we couldn’t even watch a stinkin’ show on Netflix. Internet so pathetic the movie simply WOULD NOT PLAY, repeatedly, on different days, at different hours, trying different shows. Useless. I don’t call that a vacation. You may disagree. The world that I live in requires internet usage with at least a modicum of speed. This is 2020...almost 2021. Please. Give us more bits (per second!)

Internet so pathetic the movie simply WOULD NOT PLAY, repeatedly, on different days, at different hours, trying different shows. Useless. I don’t call that a vacation. You may disagree. The world that I live in requires internet usage with at least a modicum of speed. This is 2020...almost 2021. Please. Give us more bits (per second!)

We loved the location and convenience of accessing the house. Overall the unit was in very good condition and clean. I would recommend upgrading the linens, towels and the bedroom pillows. For the daily rent charged those upgrades need to be completed. Thank you

Property was great, however i never got an email on how to get into the property so i had to jump threw hoops to figure out how to get into the house!!! They made us drive to an office to pick up and drop off a key, terrible manegment. They didnt leave any trash bags, toilet paper or anything in the home at all. Property was great, rental agency was absolutly terrible!!!

Great Property - Close to Everything
Property was great. Small recommendation to add Direct TV channels to include ESPN and Golf and Fox News. Also provide instructions for TV use.

This is our second year staying at this property. We were quite disappointed on arrival to find the property closed up tight for some time and quite musty smelling. The kitchen counters were quite dirty with obvious dried food debris. We also found the washer full of wet smelly towels and bed lenins from a previous guest I presume. The apparent property owner paid us a visit mid week wondering what we were doing there! Just makes you wonder!

We totally enjoyed our stay at this beautifully appointed home. We relaxed every day on the balcony, with beautiful Mountain View’s. In the early, early morning we had elk grazing in the back yard, or walking down the street. We will rent this gorgeous home again!

A perfect stay
Great experience for the perfect family vacation for the holidays. Property was clean, in great condition and beautifully decorated. Amazing views. Conveniently located to rental office, major strip in Maggie Valley and only about 20 min to downtown Waynesville all while offering a secluded and private area to retreat to after busy days. Property manager is very responsive. Only recommendation is that towels and pillows could be replaced. Overall though a very great and comfortable stay.

Cabin was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed! The views were amazing and the access and roads were very easy to get to the house. The only feedback we’d highly recommend is that all 3 beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Would love to come back again, new mattresses and pillows would elevate the experience even more! Thanks for having us!
