We really enjoyed our stay! Only left to get food, go to the beach and use the pool. Otherwise the view was spectacular and we didn't need to go anywhere else! 10/10 would do again

The balcony had beautiful views of ocean, and could look over the balcony at the pool right below the room. We could watch the fireworks that went off on the bay side from outside of our from door. The condo had plenty of room for 5 adults! It's a very secure gated area and we felt completely safe the whole time we were there! The beds were comfy also! The location was convenient to be able to walk too most things around the area of you didn't want to drive. The pool/ hot tub was nice and so were the tennis courts. (The only grill on the property was charcoal with no charcoal.) The AC worked well and it was nice to come to cool condo!
My only complaint is there wasn't as many consumables stocked as we are used to in most other VRBOs we've stayed in. There was only 1 roll of tp in each bathroom, 1 extra trash bag, no paper towels, no dishcloths, no laundry soap/ dryer sheets, no coffee, and no dishwasher soap. So we definitely had to take a trip to Wal Mart (10 minutes away or there's a grocery store called Blue Marlin IGA that was about 2 minutes away).
All in all, a great condo to stay in and would definitely stay there again! 👍

when we came over, we got a disappointing surprise that the ocean view balcony that was the whole place I booked the place was under construction, and for 2 days there were paint cans/ wood stilts and other construction stuff. as if that was not bad enough the construction workers were in and out of the condo drugging dirt and sand on their boots. instead of resting on the beach, I had to clean up the floors in the condo so my baby could walk and crawl. to top it all off, the elevator was under construction on the day of our departure, and I had to load all the baby gear into the car by running up and down the stairs from the 5th floor. after 7th trip downstairs, I was approached by a property manager who saw me struggling and finally helped me out and let me use the elevator for the last couple of trips. the whole morning was a nightmare. whatever rest I got during the stay was ruined and disappeared due to the enormous strain of those packing runs.
The place has mold in the vents. I am extremely allergic and had to take Benadryl three times a day for the whole length of my stay.
I know booking online is always a gamble, but this one was a huge letdown!

Condo is exactly as advertised. Great location, great property. Had an issue with the door lock but property manager was very responsive and it was fixed the next day. Only thing I might recommend is to make it a little clearer on the check in instructions which codes are for the property gates vs which code is for the condo door. Thanks again!

This was a great location and the condo was perfect for our little family. We loved the fifth floor views of both the Gulf on one side and the fireworks from the other. The unit was clean and exactly as described in the listing. We were thrilled to get it since it was a last minute booking. In unit laundry was a huge plus, as well as having beach towels & toys.
Thanks so much for letting us give our boys a beach stay! We love SPI and the central location of this condo was really nice.

This was our first time in South Padre Island and this condo did not disappoint! We loved that this condo had everything we needed! Beds were very comfy! Full size washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, and great views!!! We also loved that the actual condo building was not over run with people! It was very calm and relaxing! We will definitely be returning next year!

We had a great stay at Edgewater. The condo was immaculate and well furnished and the facility was well maintained and secure. Perfect beach.

The condo is large, plenty of space. The views and location are amazing. The ceiling has significant leaks. We had to keep a towel on the floor so no one would slip on the tile because of the dripping water. There is also a leak right above the dining room table that we had to deal with. The balcony door wouldn't stay closed unless we locked the deadbolt so we had to set something in front of it to prevent it from swinging open while we sat outside. If you're looking at this condo for the security features, then you might want to look elsewhere. The entrance gate and front pedestrian gate were never locked. The beach access gate stayed locked, but people just jumped over it if they didn't have the code.

We have stayed at this complex before, perhaps even in this same unit. The building is nice as it is not too large, but has a large pool and hot tub. The temp of the pool was great for the weather. The unit itself was clean, comfortable and decently appointed. The only issue really was the toaster (4 slice) only worked on 2 slices...one on each half the toaster. Also, there are no dish washing clothes in the unit, which is not real convenient. Some of the furniture is pretty dated and well worn and could probably stand an update. The chair, couch, love seat and beds were comfortable, which is the main thing. Overall, we would stay at this property again.

We loved the location of the condo. It seems to located on the quieter end of the island. This was perfect for us! The pool area is wonderful with easy access to the beach. The beds are not very comfortable. The mattresses in the guest room were super firm. There were also two missing light bulbs which created a challenge. A dish cloth is needed for wiping up spills and washing dishes. A starter supply of automatic dishwashing detergent would be helpful, as well as a few laundry pods. These items are needed since guests are required to wash all dishes and beach towels before check out. Since the condo is advertised for sleeping 6, it would’ve been nice to have 6 sets of bath towels.

The view stole the show at this condo. Clean and quiet complex. Kitchen was well stocked and beach items also. A/C was good water pressure could be a tad better but wasn’t bad.

PERFECT
This property was beautiful! The grounds and pool were clean and well manicured with beautiful flowers and plants. It was quiet with the occasional music playing. The condo itself was wonderful. Well furnished, clean, well appointed, and was just a dream! The beds were comfortable. You can NOT beat the view. The balcony was my favorite place to be! Watching and hearing the waves roll in was pure heaven for me. Nelida was very responsive any time I had a question. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful view, JENKY condo!!!!
The view you can not beat!! It was breath taking as was the smell of the condo. When entering you were hit with a smoky, musty smell!! The first bedroom had a white bath towel as the window valance. Not shabby sheek, more like trash! Leather chair was so worn that it had ripped duck tape trying to hold the leather together. The furniture was so extremely beat up looked as if they found it on the side of the road. The bar stools had screws falling out of them if one sat on them. The leather couch had a very old crusty stain stretching across the back of it. Master bedroom dresser had broken handles, which could draw blood if you tried to open the drawers. The chair was a very old maternity rocker, that had a worn out stain on the head rest that was so disgusting to look at! Throughout the unit the ceiling had dark water stains. Stated from previous reviews going back to March, the water stained ceilings were never repaired. From the pictures we could tell it was outdated, which would have been fine. The worn out dirty furniture, and terrible smell is truly unacceptable!! This unit needs a major revamp!!!

Beautiful property
This unit was sparkling clean and in a beautiful, secure property. My only complaint was that the leaking roof caused the ceiling to have stains and water damage, which the owners had not yet had a chance to repair. Manager was extremely attentive to anything we needed or had questions about.

Wonderful Family Trip
This property was perfect for our family getaway. The pool & hot tub were clean & just a short walk to the beach. The condo itself was sufficient for us & had a beautiful view with a spacious balcony to enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee. Over all, we would stay here again.

Amazing place to stay.
It had everything we needed and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony is is pretty big with a lot of chairs. It was so relaxing to sit out there and enjoy the ocean. The condo and the parking lot being gated made me feel more secure. The extra beach chairs and towels were nice to have there. The washer and dryer was great to have to use also. I would strongly recommend staying here if you love the beach as much as I do!!!

Condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the ocean from the balcony is AMAZING! The property grounds are clean and gated. The pool was also clean. The beach is about a 3 minute walk from the pool area. The property manager responded to my inquiries promptly. The beach was clean and not over crowded. Overall, we had a great stay! I’d definitely stay here again!

Amazing week stay on south padre island. Condo was perfect for our family and the location was excellent for walking straight down to the beach. Beach and ocean view was amazing from the balcony, master bedroom, and living room.
