Questo condominio del 1849 ha assolutamente l'accesso più vicino agli impianti di risalita di montagna Mammoth che lo rendono ideale per gli sciatori. When you find an awesome property that you want to go back to, you almost don't want to write such a shinning review because other people will want to stay there
But, i must give this a 5 star rating.
Tim and Becky were excellent communicators.
Everything that they said they had at the condo..
THEY REALLY DID HAVE IT AND MORE.
Had a small plumbing issue, and they had someone out the next day to fix it!!!
Location:
Was a great place to be. Close enough to the village but yet far enough away to make it quiet and relaxing. Pool and spas were nice to use at the end of a long day as well. Parking under the structure was easy and convenient.
Interior:
The condo is large enough to hold our (3) families that came, including the grandchildren. You never felt crowded in the condo. Our favorite part was the sunroom opening up to the HUGE balcony that we can sit and have coffee and play with grandkids.
Every room had all the modern necessities that you can think of. Plenty of blankets, towels, beach towels Etc.
Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked.
Bedrooms were spacious and had fans in each room as well. Was a bit warm when we were up there.
The luggage carriers were so helpful, You can load up all your stuff, go into an elevator and right into the condo.
Made life easy.
All in all, would highly recommend this Condo for a small or long stay.
Thanks to Becky and Tim for making this a memorable family vacation.

This condo was fantastic! It had everything you could possibly think you’d need and then some. Pots/pans/dishes? Check. Games? Check. First aid kit (I may have taken a tumble on my bike) Check. Heck, there’s even a foam roller for sore muscles! I couldn’t come up with one thing the condo didn’t have. We came up to Mammoth for a mountain biking adventure and it was a breeze to bring our bikes up to the locked patio. Can’t beat the location for winter (Canyon Lodge is closed during the summer) but it’s an easy ride to the Village where you can hop on the shuttle that takes you to the Main Lodge where you can hop on the gondola and ride down the mountain. We will be back for sure!

This was our 2nd year staying at Becky's condo for our family vacation. We are 2 families - 4 adults, a teenager and 2 littles under 10. Condo is spacious for the 7 of us and we never feel like we're on top of each other. Unit is well appointed and since it was our 2nd year, we knew not to bring random things like a coffee grinder. There's a full size washer/dryer right off the kitchen so be sure not to over pack!
The unit really feels like home to us which made it a no brainer to book again. Kitchen is stocked with all kinds of pot or pan (great quality too!), baking pans, utensils, sippy cups, etc. so if you happen to forget something, you're fine!
Each room has a smart speaker so you can listen to music. There are smart TVs in each room so you can log in to your own streaming services if you want. Two bathrooms have fancy bidet toilets this year which was a great upgrade! Bed linens and towels are plush and the beds are comfy.
None of the units in the 1849 complex have AC which wasn't a problem because there are fans in all rooms, we're on the first floor and the breeze keeps things cool and comfy in the summer.
There's a pool, hot tubs & cold plunge pool in the complex which the kids used every day. The hot tubs were great after a day of hiking!
Foyer is an underrated feature where we stored shoes/boots & hung pool towels/bathing suits so we didn't track anything all over the floor.
There's more to love, but I'm limited in characters. Book it and you'll see!

Our host, Becky, was very helpful and clear in responding to our unusual needs for wheelchair access, and was a delight to work with. My wife is paraplegic, and we needed clearance under the bed to use a patient lift. Becky offered blocks to lift the bed. She also told us of access limitations: the bathrooms are not ADA, and the threshold to the deck did not allow wheelchair. access. Neither was a problem for us.
We were in Mammoth Lakes for a week-long family reunion, 28 in all, with 2 groups in 1849 and the rest nearby. We gathered often at the 1849 condos to take advantage of the barbecue and picnic tables near the pool. Sometimes, others in the family visited or did prep work in the kitchen of our unit. All were impressed by it.
We enjoyed the area. Wish we had found it when we were younger! Discovered that one can buy oxygen in a can! (Prices vary significantly.) Helpful when the thin air gets to you. (Available in several of the sporting equipment/rental stores, even at Vons, though Vons had the highest price we encountered.)
People in our group participated in many activities in the area: exploring Jeep trails, lots of hiking, swimming & SUP in the lakes, and Frizbee golf, I enjoyed hikes at Convict Lake (1/4 mile of trail accessible--to fishing dock), Hot Creek Geologic Site, and to Inyo Craters.
Warning: the road to Hot Creek is mostly washboard. Big drop where the pavement ends--go SLOWly . S'posed to be accessible, NOT. (Out of room.)

We had the most amazing time in Mammoth. This was our favorite property we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect. You are a short walk to Canyon Lodge, which has three chair you can get on. You are also very close to kids lessons so you can just pop right across the street when you want to put your kid in ski or snowboarding lessons . The condo is laid out perfectly for two families and kids. Becky the owner is the sweetest and kindest person ever. She is so easy to communicate with and respond right away. I already booked this property for my family to go to next year. Really amazing ski vacation! I feel so spoiled with the location of this property. I can never stay anywhere else!!!!!

Short half block walk to Canyon Lodge. Well stocked kitchen. Large boot warmer was a major plus. Owner was very responsive handling a minor bathroom hardware issue in less than 24 hours. Overall condition and decor of property is a bit tired but for the price and proximity to Canyon lodge we’d rent it again.

Property is fantastic and they did some updates from the last time we stayed. This is our six year staying at this property and everyone loves it! Owners do a great job in responding when I had a few questions. Looking forward to going back again next year, but also hopefully sometime in between. Everything you need from kitchen appliances to laundry to bedroom/bathroom necessities are there.

Huge thank you to Becky and Tim for sharing their wonderful condo with us. Our stay was very comfortable and we truly had everything we needed for a great ski vacation. The kitchen was very well stocked so that we could enjoy nearly all our meals at the condo. (Note the large dinner plates are too large to fit in the dishwasher so we carefully washed them by hand). We enjoyed lots of the games and puzzles. It was awesome that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. That made it really comfortable for six adults to stay there. This was our first trip to Mammoth Lakes so we did not understand going in that "Ski in, Ski out" at Mammoth simply means that you don't need to drive or take a shuttle to the lift, but we were a bit surprised by the hike to the lodge every morning and the hike home in the pm. All said, we had a wonderful week and highly recommend this condo! Thank you very much!

This place is absolutely the best! From reservation, to check in and check out, the communication was excellent and the description was on point! We had an amazing time with all amenities and then some. A short two minute walk to the lift, quick gondola ride to the village, and plenty of restaurants or deliveries; made this place the perfect place for us to make new memories! Great location and the owners have gone above and beyond! Definitely worth the stay! I can't say enough great things about this place, AMAZING!

There is seriously no better place to stay in mammoth. The cabin is huge, has EVERYTHING you could ever need down to Ziplock bags, and is just one of my favorite places! They just redid two of the bathrooms and added a boot dryer and it is all amazing!

Great stay for a group of 5 adults. Location is next to canyon lodge. Hot tubs were perfect after a long day snowboarding. Hosts were responsive and attentive. Will stay here again, 10/10 recommend.

I've stayed at many places over the years and I've never seen such a well supplied condominium - spices, pots, pans, games, bandaids. Snow wasn't very good so I couldn't try using the SNOWSHOES!! And Becky was always very responsive any time I had a question.

What stood out the most were the wonderful display of outdoor artwork! This place was definitely a treat to stay. It felt like staying at a friend's actual house who has great taste in outdoor themed art and is well organized and well stocked with kitchen ware. Their pots and pans and equipment were even better than what I am willing to buy for my own home. My kids loved the availability of the games and ping pong table.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this property. It was the perfect size for five adults and we loved having three bathrooms!! We appreciated how well-stocked the place is with everything you could imagine needing. Our only challenge was that it was very hot and there’s not many windows for circulation.We appreciated the fans in every bedroom but it was still pretty warm! Otherwise a lovely stay.

I can't say enough about how comfortable we felt. It seriously felt like home. I usually get a weird homesick, anxious feeling even if I'm spending a night with family… not here! So thank you for that.
A lot of the time on any vacation, our biggest headache is entertaining the kids (12, 7 and 3) but they were thoroughly entertained which gave the adults plenty of time to relax after a day of hiking.
The condo had EVERYTHING we needed for a comfortable week in Mammoth. The only thing we went to Vons for was groceries. We always bring a few small appliances because rentals usually don't have them- a coffee grinder, rice cooker and french press. We could have left those at home. There were those plus more.
We absolutely needed at least one king bed but two made it a no brainer! Having a full sized washer/dryer in the condo was so so so convenient also!
If you're there in the winter, you won't need to drive to a lodge and fight for parking. Just walk to Canyon Lodge. You can literally throw a snowball to it. The location is amazing.

I really can’t say enough good things. There was a hiccup at the beginning and the owner solved the problem immediately with kindness and incredible generosity. We felt like we were in a cabin rather than a condo, which we loved. We have stayed in many Vrbo’s and have NEVER had a place as well stocked as this one. We were truly shocked how the condo had absolutely everything to make the experience as comfortable as being at home. And how many places can you find where all three bedrooms have their own bathroom? I’ll also let others know that my elderly dad came with us and he is mostly in a wheelchair. It is not easy to find a place that works for him and having the elevator right outside the front door and no stairs in the condo gave him such freedom. He’s been going to Mammoth since he was 15 and I since birth. My husband and I got married at the Twin Lakes Chapel 20 years ago. So, needless to say this was a special trip for us. It’s doubtful my dad will ever be able to return to Mammoth in his lifetime and I really am so grateful we lucked out being in this condo. When my three kids 14, 18, & 22 want to stay in and play card games with their parents and grandpa instead of going out, you know they were happy and comfortable. <3

I come to Mammoth a couple times a year and rent different VRBOs and this has been my favorite so far! The condo is very spacious, clean and the kitchen is stocked with anything you could possibly need (even a veggie tray steamer!) The covered patio is perfect place to have coffee in the mornings and there is a huge patio/deck area that my kids rode scooters and roller bladed on. If you have kids this is the perfect rental. There was even a crib and kid toys!!!!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay we will be back 😊

This condo has the best location for walking to Canyon Lodge. It also has a perfect location in the building(easy access to the garage and hot tubs). We were amazed by the thoughtful additions of everything you could want or need during your stay! I challenge anyone to think of something they would want or need that is already in the condo. My two teenagers said this was by far the best vacation accomodations we've had. The beds were all very comfortable with lots of extra pillows. The decor is perfect for the area and the living room is really comfy. We plan on coming back to this condo whenever we return to Mammoth.

This condo was perfect for 3 couples and 1 baby. Everything on line was correct and as advertised. You literally walk out the door and you are at Canyon Lodge. If you are a skier it can't be beat. Kitchen was well stocked. All 3 rooms had nice beds and 3 baths was a bonus. Check in check out was seamless. BBQ on the desk was super nice and convenient. Totally recommend!!

Terrific three bedroom three bath condo just a couple hundred yards from Canyon Lodge. The condo is on the second floor so if the elevator is full it’s extremely convenient after a day on the mountain. Nice sized Living Room, and parking was great. Easy access to the gondola which will take you to the village for dinner. Thanks again.

If you are looking to be just steps from Canyon Lodge at Mammoth Mountain, this is the place to stay. Very close to both the lifts and the gondola to the village. Just park your vehicle in the garage (a nice bonus, no need to clear the snow off) and go. You won't need it again until you depart for home. Clean inside, easily fits 8, entry hall has racks for skis/snowboards/boots/helmets, nice kitchen and family room for group gatherings. Laundry room off the kitchen is great. Easy communication with the owners--it is clear they want you to have an enjoyable stay and were available when needed. Only hiccup was a power surge that knocked internet off-line for a few hours. We rebooted the modem and wifi router and it eventually came back on line. Good bandwidth as we needed to do some virtual work--no problems. Oh, and the two outdoor jacuzzis at the complex are a nice way to end the day. Highly recommend this space if you are coming up for a ski trip...and we will come back again ourselves.

Given the amount of snow, it was great to be located just steps away from the slopes. The entry hallway was also ideal to keep ski equipment and damp clothing after taking advantage of the great snow on the mountain. The condo had a rustic look and feel as if you were in a cabin.
