Questo era già un favoloso cottage con 2 camere da letto ma l'ho ristrutturato per renderlo un gioiello! Si trova di fronte alla spiaggia di Packard Park con 300 piedi di spiaggia sabbiosa.
Questo cottage 2 camere da letto ha 1500 SF di spazio vitale, aggiungere la camera da letto per 500SF di più. Le camere da letto sono agli estremi opposti del soggiorno e ognuno ha il bagno, uno con doccia vasca e uno con cabina doccia. Ci sono 2 nuovi letti king size con letti di lusso (nessuno di quel società di noleggio tipo graffiante) e asciugamani.

This property is located in the most ideal location with a park that leads down to the beach right across the street. After the beach return to a wonderfully heated pool that is easily accessible for the elderly and had many games for the younger crowd. In addition the host had put out a wonderful welcome basket with wine, cheese and chocolate which was a real treat. The interior is impeccably clean and has a pool table and foosball game. The kitchen and bathrooms have all the amenities anyone would need. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay! Thank You!!

I travelled with my older teen and young adult kids and it was a perfect home away from home. They loved the billiard table, fooseball table. swimming pool and table tennis. The beach was so close - and having chairs and a wagon to use made the beach days a no fuss day. The walk to town was easy; barely needed my car once we arrived. Hope to be back to the same property each year. The hose was beyond helpful and easy to work with.

Martha was the hostess with the mostest. Everything we could possible think of Martha had for us. We are from France, so it was such a kind thoughtful treat to have cheese & wine awaiting us. The location was PERFECT! My family & I took a 5 minute bikeride into downtown. There is a nearby locsl grocery store within a 5 minute walk. We walked 2 minutes to the beach to swim & watched a gorgeous sunset! We all enjoyed the heated pool and the countless hours of ping-pong. The rooftop above the pool house was perfect for sunbathing & beautiful views of Lake Michigan! The spiral staircase was really cool.
My family & I have stayed at countless VRBO over the years. And this place by far is our top two picks. Outstanding job Martha! We will definitely be back with family & friends.

This property sets very high expectations... then meets them! Communication and availability is A+. No, I don't mean above average. I mean phenomenal, gold standard stuff. Attentiveness, welcoming, and privacy all on the nose for what we look for and appreciate.
The house was exactly as advertised. Soft sheets, clean couches, fresh air... the cleanliness and amenities left nothing standing in the way of comfort and vacation. When a spouse's biggest complaint about a trip is wanting a couple fewer steps between the kitchen and the dining table, you know it was a good trip. In hindsight, we should have unpacked better and used the laundry room (especially the dryer) a bit more.
We appreciated that the place was crawler-friendly (sorry, we couldn't remember where that decorative pitcher was originally!), with tons of thoughtfulness for kids - bikes, toys, a stool, and more were ready for action. So cool.
For people wanting a pool and a beach, I don't think that there's a better location in South Haven. We feel very fortunate that the cottage that best fit our needs was available. This listing stands out and was worth it. Thanks, Marta!

The location and amenities are ideal. We stayed with our 22 month old and family for a long weekend. Marta had taken care to put out many toys and bikes for our daughter to enjoy. From beach towels and pool toys to a little toy rollercoaster, our daughter was in heaven! Our pack n play fit comfortable in the bedroom. Can't say enough good things about this rental. This was our second time staying, and we will be back!

We had a wonderful & relaxing stay on this property. Everything was quiet, CLEAN, and comfortable. Marta was very helpful and responsive. The location was close to everything especially the beach right across the street. Beautiful sunsets.

The weather was not so good, but we were able to play pool ping-pong. Thanks to Marta going out and getting a heater for the pool house. Loved how convenient and wonderful the fireplace was and just you wait when you arrive you receive this wonderful basket from farmhouse, deli, delicious, salted caramels avocado artichoke dip, bagel chips, wine and wonderful cheeses how very thoughtful the beds are super super comfortable with wonderful linens. The towels are big and fluffy.

Amazing getaway!
I have stayed at a number of vacation rentals, and I must say, Marta’s place tops the list. This was such a homey, cozy cottage! There was something for everyone. Books, games, pool and foosball tables…a little bit of fun for all ages and tastes. I didn’t use the pool area-but what a nice set up! Marta was so easy to work with and so responsive to every need. She included so many little extra touches. I appreciated the luggage wagon by the parking lot. Since I was by myself, I was able to make one trip with all my luggage. There were lots of little local treats she left as a welcome. I would highly recommend this cottage…and anything else Marta rents out!! It was just the restful trip I needed! I look forward to visiting again!

The Best
Choosing a rental property for my husband is always “iffy”. He’s a tall guy and sometimes beds and furnishings get a thumbs down. When he announced that Marta’s cottage was the best I’ve ever selected, not only was I relieved but hopeful that return visits are in our future. The cottage, the property and the treats that greeted us made for a very nice getaway. Five stars on everything!! Except the weather!

Amazing host and great location; highly recommended
It was a nice getaway. The host gave us a warm welcome and provided extra thoughtful touches--treats, nice sheets and towels, masks and disinfectants, coffee, spices etc. She has done a great job of decorating and making the property comfortable for all. A swimming pool and pool house are nearing completion and will make it even more of an amazing property. The lake is within view from the house and beach is easily accessible in a few minute walk.

Winter Holiday Getaway
This was the perfect getaway in South Haven. Our family of four absolutely loved relaxing in front of the fireplace in this cozy home. We enjoyed strolling through town, walking along the beach, ice skating, and short trips to neighboring areas. The home was sparkling clean when we arrived. From the time we booked with Marta, her communication was top notch - she was a pleasure to work with. We are already planning a return trip!

Easy access to property with cypher lock on door. Convenient to South Haven and Lake Michigan. Property was very clean and nicely decorated. Marta provided a welcome gift which we didnt expect! Handy book of things to do and places to eat. We would recommend!

South Haven is an all around great destination if you’re seeking a beach plus town experience in Southwest Michigan. We knew the area but not the town, and although Covid hampered everyone to some degree, we had a lovely time (BTW South Haven and the cottage’s property owner are quite Covid compliant).I recommend this property for a close-knit family or friend group. Two bathrooms will make things easier, but the space is “cozy”. There’s not a lot of closet space, or other storage, so consider when you’re packing.With Covid, we ate most meals at home. The kitchen is a smallish galley set up but has pretty much everything you’ll need. I prepared three full meals for 6 guests (transported to family nearby) and it worked fine.The location in town is great. You can walk pretty much everywhere except to buy “big” groceries. There is a Meijer near the highway that is open 25 hours and has extensive selection. Be sure to visit Barden’s Farm Store, where I bought at least half our groceries. I also recommend the Farmhouse Deli, not far away in Douglas.Marta (property owner) was super responsive. Although she and I never met, I felt well cared for. The cottage was well stocked with essentials and mid-week housekeeper did an excellent job.Enjoy South Haven. It’s a world away.

Perfectly outfitted, perfect location
Everything we could have wanted was included here - from the lux Lands End beach towels and great beach gear/umbrellas/floaters, to the ample supply of paper goods, coffee and welcome basket of goodies. Marta is an exceptional hostess - she was easy to reach if needed, and has thought of everything! We will be back!

Exceeded expectations
Our stay here has been amazing! My wife and I brought our 7 month old son for his first vacation (along with his grandma and grandpa) and it was the perfect getaway. Marta truly was the best host- responsive and attentive, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. She had every necessity for a beach vacation so we didn’t have to bring them ourselves (towels, chairs, floats etc...). We can’t wait to come back again and rent the larger house with a bigger group!

Great Location and host
We were pleasantly surprised at all of the extras that Marta provides at no additional cost: bikes, beach chairs, wagons, pack-n-play, paper towels, napkins and a wonderful gift basket filled with local goodies.
I also forgot an expensive necklace behind and was panicked that it was gone for good and Marta quickly found it and got it mailed back to me ASAP and didn’t even charge me the shipping. Thank you so much!

Close to beach!
This rental is in a great location! We went across the street to Packard beach almost every day and night for sunset. We also walked about ten minutes to North Beach several times. The walk to town is also about ten minutes. Very clean cottage and there was even a welcome basket of snacks. We really enjoyed our stay here with our family of 5!

Cute little vacation cottage
Great little place to stay. Was clean and everything was thought of. Really enjoyed the treats that the owners left. Having coffee k cups provided was very thoughtful. Parking was easy with the lot to the rear. Tricky to initially find. Look for the white fence.
