Loved the cottage. The code for the door on my confirmation was different from one emailed to me. Took a little time to get in. All perfect but the upstairs air conditioning did not work. It was in the 90’s so uncomfortable. Fortunately, the night was cool so we could sleep.

Property was just right, close to wine tasting rooms and restaurants and coffee shops. Great place to stay in Los Olivos.

We absolutely loved everything about this adorable cottage!! The location was within walking distance to all of the wineries and restaurants in downtown, and the house was perfect for the 4 of us.

The cottage appeared as promised. Perfect for two couples. Rooms are large and well appointed.
French doors off living room to outside were not able to be locked. In communication with MICHAEL, the property liaison, he stated that the front gate locks and no one else had complained and the neighborhood is safe. He showed no interest whatsoever in offering any other safety measures to secure the french doors. He knew they didn't lock as he stated the item needed to secure the doors was on order. I found his communication condescending and very unprofessional. I would fire him immediately.
The VRBO description included Direct TV. When asked about this, MICHAEL said they had"moved away from Direct TV" Again, he made it my fault for wanting it because I should have an alternate watching system to enter my code. Disgraceful customer service.
I did not get what I paid for -- a safe and secure home with the amenities advertised. VRBO should be aghast at the representation they have allowed for this lovely property.

My husband and I had a nice stay at Olive Cottage. The location couldn't be any better if you like wine tasting, fine dining, plenty of parking and lots of space to spread out. Los Olivos is a great place to go for a short getaway.

property is beautiful and location is great but this is not a true 2 bedroom - it is a 1 bedroom and loft. The upstairs is open to the below making for a lack of privacy and noise issues.
I emailed the property manager twice to ask express disappointment and never heard back.

This house is walking distance to everything ! the house was large enough for four people. the. bedrooms were large and welcoming. the only additional input I would recommend is having another couch in the living room to accommodate more people. highly recommend !

This house was clean and beautiful. The beds were comfy. The location could NOT have been more perfect. It was definitely a great place to stay!!! I visit Los Olivos frequently and would love to stay here again!

The Olive Cottage is a perfect spot to stay in Los Olivos. The house is well furnished, has a great patio, and the manager is very helpful. L.O. is a fun town to wander around visiting shops and enjoy wine tastings, along with good food and drink. It was perfect for our couple of days touring/tasting in the Santa Ynez area. It was our 2nd time staying there (8 years apart). Highly recommend!

We spent the weekend at this cottage for a fun girls weekend and had an amazing time. This was my second time booking this rental and it is so adorable and the best location. The ability to walk around Los Olivos to all the wineries and the shops without driving is so convenient. Beds are super comfortable and the house has all the amenities you need

The house as adorable, bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Patio outside is great for wine and cheese. Very clean and easy check in/out.

The Olive Cottage exceeded all our expectations and was even better than the photographs. Both bedrooms were large and very comfortable; the living area was more than ample and the kitchen was stocked with all the basic needs. The outside back patio is private and so relaxing and the parking is great. Having so many windows that ALL open was great. The location is 100% completely perfect—everything is Los Olivos is easily walkable. Our hosts were accessible and great. Perfect VRBO for two couples. We will definitely stay again. Having stayed at quite a few VRBOs this is certainly a top tier in it’s price range.

This couldn't be more conveniently located, AND it's the cutest little house! Perfect for two couples or a family with an upstairs room and a downstairs room. Super clean, great condition, and very easy check in. If it can't be OUR house, we'll definitely come back often.

This home cottage is a lovely place and very meticulously kept. We stayed with my daughter and her husband and we each had our own living quarters. The town is right outside our door so we could go to winetasting and coffee places easily anytime. The outdoor space is beautiful and lighting at night is a nice touch. We were very pleased and enjoyed our stay.

Great for a getaway in the heart of Los Olivos. You can walk to everything. Lefty's Coffee right across the street. Very clean and private. Can't wait to go back.
