Lovely welcome from the Family that own it and very helpful with getting a motorbike to rent, laundry and how to get round the island. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We only found one ant and one Mosquito in the room which is amazing for a place near the beach. Fan and AC which was nice. Great location, was anything you needed on the island.

the Wi-Fi was a bit temperamental, so if you need reliable Wi-Fi just bare that in mind. We did manage and also went to local restaurants that had it. The key and padlock for our door was also a bit hit and miss, so we used our own padlock in the end. It did work but maybe just need a new one.

Without a doubt highly recommended. 5mins from getting off the ferry we were in heaven. Do not expect 5 star concrete hotels, you're on a fabulous island. Sraff were extremely helpful, shops,laundry, 5mins to cafe and beach, what more do you want? Would definitely go back.

Koh Rong has no ATM, So be sure off bringing enough cash. Stafff will help you if short off cash,£10 for the privilege. It is heaven on earth

This accomodation is happily situated in the middle of the main town in Koh Rong Island, so it is close to food, bars, and convenience stores. There is plenty of other accomodation on the island such as bungalows, tree houses and beach side resorts that are a little bit further out, but come at a more expensive price tag. For us, staying in the main town was a perfect base to explore the rest of the island from, and we were also close to the main pier which meant it was easy to jump on a boat to travel to and from the island. The room we stayed in was simple and nothing flashy but comfortable enough for the price tag and the location. The lady at the front desk (who I think is the owner) was really lovely and helped us with everything we needed during our stay. She also helped arrange scooter hire for us, which was a very smooth process. If you are travelling on a budget but want to experience the authentic Koh Rong Island life (as opposed to a flashy resort) I definitely recommend staying at Villa Koh Rong.

The owners of this place are wonderful! Really looked after me. Made me feel comfortable and secure. Wasn't feeling too well after striking my head on a low branch down the beach. But was cared for and they kept an eye on me in case it was concussion etc.

Power cuts are frequent but usually short here. Not the hotels fault of course. Out of their control.

The location was perfect. The lovely lady that works their made our stay so welcoming and lovely. Our room was spotless and smelt beautiful. We were given fresh towels and bed sheets were clean. Accommodation was basic but very good for the island, we actually had hot water in the shower which is rare for the island.

The stairs are particularly steep, we didn’t mind so much but something to keep in mind if you are unable.

It is a great place to stay. Clean and close to all the beaches (by foot or motorbike). Here you can stay at a guesthouse of a local family and not a big investor. They will do everything they can, to give you a good experience. They can help you with all your questions and needs. The island suffered really hard due the pandemic and the local people can use your support. So choose to stay at a local place!

cheap place compared to the other hostels in the area, really clean, beds are comfortable, location is good if you want to stay near the village ( walking to 4k beach half an hour and long beach 1,30 hours) and the owner is amazingly nice and she will try to help you in everything! i would definetly come back!

The location is convenient if you arrive from the main pier, it is just a few walking minutes from the boat. They took care of our part of our stuff for a few days and that it was great to be able to move easily.

No mosquito net. Our room was really small no place to put your stuff or even move, pretty claustrophobic. The smell from the bathroom was really disgusting. The owner reduced the price for this inconvenience (about 1 dollar and 1/2) and that it was kind, but I would not be in that room again even for free.

Owners where very friendly. The rooms are clean. You get what you pay for :D

Nice staff, great location, good air-con, wifi was ok as expected on the island. Room was clean, no bugs in our room was a nice change!!

No sheet/ duvet, just a Minnie Mouse blanket for one person for a 2 person room. Roosters woke us up both days at 4 am.

This property was okay. The bathroom was very very small. There was no plumbing for the sink in the bathroom so the water would go down the drain and onto the floor and then would drain away through a hole on the corner of the bathroom floor. My bed had Barcelona Football Club bedsheets with a Mickey Mouse blanket which was interesting. There were three windows in the room but only two of them had curtains.. luckily I had an eye mask otherwise I would have been woken really early with the morning light. I paid $44 for two nights which is outrages for what you get. I have spent $9 per night in other places that have been much nicer. However, the staff are really friendly and the location is amazing. This property is okay if you just want to sleep here, I spent my days at the beach.
