Absolutely overpriced - value for money is not worth the spend. Not great food options Staff did clean room but didn’t replace towels or toilet paper. Very hard bed - not comfortable Service sub par - didn’t seem willing to help or care much.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel tout au bout de la plage. La plage au sable blanc et la mer chaude. La piscine est très bien. Personnel attentif. Propre.

Le lit était un peu dure pour nous. Malheureusement sur cette partie de la bay, il y a des bars qui font jouer de la music jusqu’à 4h du matin et parfois jusqu’au lever du soleil. La music se fait entendre partout, donc difficile de dormir même avec des bouchons 😳. Nous dormions le jour pour récupérer. Le déjeuner est très bien. Par contre le resto est très cher et peu dans l’assiette. Aller au village à 10 min, c’est beaucoup mieux.

It is on a lovely quiet beach. Restaurant/breakfast good and overlooking the water.

Rooms and bathrooms extremely basic. Doors didn’t close properly etc. shower function ed just. surrounding grounds scruffy. Need to walk the beach or get a boat to go anywhere.

Very appreciated the staff who made for my amazing trip to Koh Rong island, hotel room is so so for me, but I really like the weather and beautiful sand beach, friendly staff and helpful team work.

1. You will need to walk by foots through terrible road under sun. no direct road to the “resort”, even moto couldn't reach it 2. Rooms - they was built 40 years ago a no renovation since that time. Everything broken and outdated. 3. Mosquito will ear you each night. You will not sleep. 3. Loud music will be over, if you are lucky, 3am 4. Do you like flies? During your breakfast yoy wouldnt be alone. Army of flies will try to share your food. 5. Quality of food is terrible. I really tried to find anything good here, but unfortunately it’s not possible

Need a complete refresh. Outside is really not beautiful except the beach of course. Just 2 fruits on breakfast ?!?! Final inconvenience: during check out, their terminal was not able to take my VISA care. As I was running out of cash and as there is ATM in the island, we had to go to supermarket who accepted to make the transaction with a 5% extra charge… I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Väga hea asukoht, rahulik rand, vähe turiste (jaan-s), selge sinine vesi. Meeldis, et sai kasutada välibasseini, mis asus otse mere ääres. Jalutuskäigu kaugusel erinevad söögikohad ja väike pood.

Vannituba meie majakeses nägi välja väga räämas, tundus nagu oleks kahhelplaadid unustatud seina panemata. Olen palju reisinud ja alati imestanud, kui keegi viriseb kõva voodi üle, aga selles hotellis palusime peale esimest ööd panna voodile lisapehmendusi, selline tunne oli, nagu magaks kivipõrandal. Kuigi hotell asus ranna kaugeimas nurgas, siis kostus igal õhtul alates kella 1st kuni u. 3-4ni kõva tümps, magada sai ainult kõrvatroppidega.

Great location, staff very friendly and spoke English very well. Also food was very yummy and we managed to get a BBQ on the beach one night

Rooms were very spacious and clean but they were not finished: they looked rushed. doors were not closing properly,leaving a huge gap for mosquito to fly in, shower walls half painted half made in concrete 😳 it's not major but it's extreme noticible that they didn't pay much attention to detail when building the place Also, take sand flies repellent as I was eaten alive on the beach

The location is great. The hotel is like a little paradise at the end of the beach. The pool is great. You have an amazing view for the sunset. It is quiet and relaxing. The bbq and breakfast are delicious. The staff is super friendly. The room is super comfy and the bathroom are super clean and enjoyable. We extended our stay because we really didn’t want to leave this place.

This Resort is perfect. Firstly the staff are very polite, they took very great care of us. The room and toilet were very clean. The resort was very hospitable, with great food, drinks, and places to relax, and the pool view was amazing. It is a perfect stay for family vacations and couples to enjoy. I plan on going there again with my family, as they provide so many activities for us to enjoy, the water is very clean and clear, and the sunset view was just marvelous. Thank you very much Koh Rong Hill Beach Resort for taking case of us, we will be back soon.

La gentillesse du personnel, l’emplacement de l’hôtel, qui est au bout de l’île et donc très calme, cet hôtel possède un ponton, où vous pouvez être déposé et récupéré par la compagnie GTVC, ce qui est super car sinon c’est 15/20min de marche dans le sable sous le soleil tapant ! La piscine est au top, avec un bar sympa et des happy hour entre 16h et 18h, face à la mer. Un autre avantage est la superbe vue sur le coucher de soleil qui rend l’endroit idyllique.

Les chambres ne correspondent pas vraiment aux photos (qui datent sûrement) elles mériteraient un petit coup de neuf ! Petit bémol sur la présence de déchet plastique présent dans l’eau en bordure de l’hôtel … Un coup de nettoyage rendrait l’endroit bien plus attrayant !

Grate location, beautiful resort and good management would highly recommend. Very friendly management who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The gardens and pool are very well looked after. Room was very clean and spacious. Special thanks, Mr. Pok konh Ms. Kham Sreypheak Very Hardworking, polite and decent. Have a complete control on his team and manage things in no time. Thanks for all the staff. We will recommend you to our friends.

Air conditioning, comfortable beds, great staff, great pool, quiet location but only a short walk to restaurants and a longer, but worthwhile walk to Koh Touch.

On our last two nights, a group of men gathered at the pool area all day and night. It made my daughter and I uncomfortable so we didn't use the pool. They talked well into the next morning both nights. Not a hotel issue as such, but staff could have directed them to the restaurant area to make it more welcoming for other guests.

- we booked deluxe twin room, didn’t look like the nice rose petal beachside front pictures displayed. - lizards and bugs present in the room - didn’t feel safe for two female travellers - beds and whole resort needs a refreshing update - the beach was not kept clean whatsoever with pelagic left everywhere - we couldn’t stay we had to leave

there was little information on arrival, we did not know what facilities (e.g. restaurant) were available at what times. the hotel itself is not well looked after, and the photos are not an accurate reflection of the hotel. the swimming pool and surrounding areas were untidy and not appealing, and the beach was very dirty. there were one or two friendly and helpful staff but the majority were not helpful and did not speak english. there was often employees lying around various areas in groups on their phones and chatting which was unprofessional.

We had a great stay at Koh Rong Hill Beach Resort. The location is so beautiful surrounded by ocean and trees. The staff were so sweet and we felt right at home. On our second night the resort put on an absolutely beautiful bbq on the beach and the chef went above and beyond. Prior to leaving the chef made sure we were fed before our journey and prepared fish and prawns which was one of tastiest seafood dishes I have ever had.

We did hire a scooter and it was a bit faulty but the resort didn’t charge us as we didn’t get very far.

If you liked eggs and toast you would be happy. Not much else for Europeans who don't want rice and noodles for breakfast.

It property badly needs investment, the pictures on booking.com are misleading and are from some years ago. If something is broken it is not repaired, it is just left to rot. Our bedroom actually had a hole in the floor which had lino laid over it! Cleanliness could have been far better with rubbish left from day to day. Our main problem was groups staying for beach parties, extremely loud in the evening with karioki.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hill Beach Resort. Our room was spacey and clean, and we loved the outside bathroom with a rain shower. The bed was very comfortable with a nice mattress. Breakfast was good, the dinner menu was diverse and reasonably priced. The drinks were wonderful! The resort staff made us feel at home. The Food and Beverage manager, Konh, deserves a special mention. He was extremely helpful in arranging some special dinners, a trip to the nearby island to go snorkeling and a trip to a nearby resort - a great time! The staff at the front desk, especially Cheata, was helpful as well and went out of their way to make us feel special. We rented a motorbike for most days and were able to explore the beaches and villages on the island. The Hill Beach Resort is in a perfect location from which to take these trips. The infinity pool is a great asset to the resort. The beach is (kept) clean and is great for swimming. We were treated like family and actually extended our 12-day stay for another 12 days. Obviously, we highly recommend this resort - YOU CAN'T KOH RONG!!

The wall between our room and our neighbor's room was thin, but we were lucky to have quiet neighbors most of the time. The internet was slow at times, but was overall fairly reliable.
