Ci sono porte francesi che conducono ad un grande ponte attrezzato con barbecue a gas e mobili da giardino che lo rendono un luogo ideale per mangiare e rilassarsi all'aperto.

Fabulous cottage nestled on a hill minutes from Sonoma Plaza and wineries. Three of us were in town for a wedding, and this was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend. The cottage is much larger than I expected, with stunning views and an incredible kitchen and deck for star-gazing. The wine-swapping fridge was full of great wines, and we left a few ourselves. Could easily accommodate 2 couples. Everything from parking to communication to the cleanliness of the property were 5-star. Highly recommend. Will stay here again.

Everything was as pictured and wonderfully homey. Location is wonderful - nothing was too far by any means, though we were secluded enough that we had privacy, quiet, and lovely views.

We were visiting both Napa and Sonoma and this location was convenient for both. A great value for a great location. The host was easy to reach before arrival and not needed during our 6 day stay.

We were an all adult foursome staying a couple of days to spend some time at Sonoma Raceway and hang out together. Great to have two king bedded rooms too. The tub in the master bath was not good for us, as it was quite deep and with glass sliders. There was nothing to grab onto stepping in or out. My husband nearly fell getting out. He’s 6 feet too. I am short, so did not even try. The hall bath does have an easier to access shower, so it was OK.
Otherwise, it was a great stay and the deck was fabulous to hang out in the afternoon. We got take-out for dinner and that was perfect for us to enjoy our private time together.
The roads in the neighborhood are narrow and winding, so you need to be mindful. If you drive a large vehicle, it may be intimidating.

Stayed at this property with my fiancée and my parents while out in the area for wine tasting. It was the best place to land after long days out. We loved the big deck space and especially the spices and sauces already on-site. Communication with the owners was great. They emailed information out with clear instructions and if anything had come up, I felt confident they would have handled it. We would definitely return!

The three bedrooms are nicely appointed and comfortable.
The deck/terrace is large, and comfortable. It would benefit from staining/painting.

The reviews were accurate and the house is adequate for 2 couples doing wine country. Rooms worked with 2 king beds. Kitchen is good. The outside area is not well kept. Overall we enjoyed the house.

We came as a surprise trip for my husband's 40th birthday. The location was amazing, very central to everything we wanted to do. The house was extremely comfortable, especially relaxing by the fire with a bottle of wine every night! Bob and Diana were amazing hosts. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

The place was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The comforters are very old and dated, but the beds were comfortable.
We arrived late and it was so nice that lights were left on, so we weren't arriving in the dark. Two of the rooms have king sized beds, which was a nice plus when you are staying with another couple.

A nice place to escape
This property was perfect for us. A cottage tucked away in the back a neighborhood. I felt like it was comfortable home. It has everything and more that you need. There were 4 of us and plenty of places to go escape and read a book. The kitchen has great pots and pans and lots of cookbooks for you to peruse. Lots of outdoor space. It is about a 30 minute drive to Napa or Calistoga. The mountain roads are fun but don’t drive if you had a few as they become treacherous. The owner had great communication and has thoughtfully provided everything. One review said the place was worn and needed updating. I would describe it as comfortable and inviting, like your grandmother. We loved it. Thank you. It is near sonoma and only 2 miles to the Safeway. I raised my eyebrows as we turned off into the neighborhood, it cracked me up that houses were built every which way with no rhyme nor reason. The collie dogs next door do like to bark around 7:00 am.

Perfect for us
Lavender Cottage is a lovely, cozy cottage that was perfect for my family of four on a wine tasting adventure. The indoor space is comfortable and well-appointed with plenty of seating and space for four adults. The kitchen was well-stocked as was the wine fridge! The rain kept us away from the outdoor space most of the weekend but we managed to grill one night and soak up some sun on the last day. The cottage is located just about a five minute drive to downtown Sonoma. Robert was so easy to work with and we would definitely stay there again!

Lovely stay in wine country
We had a lovely stay in Boyes Hot Springs! We were in town to spend time with family and it was the perfect spot to relax in and venture out to taste good and wine from the area. Great spots for coffee and a bite to eat were just down the hill, and it was very easy to get to Sonoma for more action.

Not what we expected
Overall the stay in the Sonoma area was great with plenty to do as well as see. The cottage (home) is in need of some TLC. The cleaning staff needs to pay more attention to what they are cleaning as well maintenance staff to addressing simple items eg;
lighting, maintenance services, repairs/reconditioning of decks and steps and some safety items checked. It's my belief that any vacation rental should be as good... if not better... than your own home. We have used multiple vacation agencies and realize not everything is perfect however, simple things should be addressed. Investing the time and money back into your property should always be a priority...that what keeps people coming back. We will not return to Lavender Cottage...we will return however, to Sonoma.

Comfortable and clean
Great spot if you're interested in visiting wineries/restaurants in the Sonoma area. Property owner/manager gave very thorough information, so there wasn't a need to contact. Main takeaway- very comfortable and very clean. We really appreciated the clean aspect!! It made our NYE super memorable to say the least. Thank you!

Beautiful home in the rolling hills
This house is what is stated on the website and you can believe the positive reviews. If you are imaging rustic cottage or cabin, think again. This home is very comfortable and provided us a wonderful home for our six-day stay in Sonoma. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked, probably the best of the many places I’ve rented. When it was warm enough my dad sat outside for a few minutes. Not being able to sit outdoors on the wonderful porch is my one regret but I told myself “another time of year, I’ll be back”. The bathrooms were great, beds were comfortable, heater worked well and the neighborhood was quiet which is greatly appreciated. We loved the fireplace!
For those who like to walk, there’s a Lucky grocery store, two parks, and a variety of neighborhoods to explore. The city of Napa isn’t far. Sonoma Plaza is easy to drive to.
Diana and Bob were quick to respond to questions and comments.

Beautiful deck in quiet neighborhood
The house was clean and nicely furnished. Close to Sonoma town square and easy drive to many wineries. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings on the beautiful deck.

Cottage with Great Deck
This is a very nice place. Great deck for enjoying wine purchases of the day. There is a gas grill for grilling steaks to go with the wine. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Home Away From Home
We had an absolutely lovely stay. The wrap around porch is terrific, beds are incredibly comfortable, everything we could need was available. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Peaceful and comfortable
Bob did a great job of responding to questions quickly. The property is in a gorgeous spot and the wrap around deck is a peaceful spot to sit and watch hummingbirds. We had a couple of friends join us for one night of the trip and the layout worked well for us. Many little details are thought of including a few lemons picked from their tree and left for us, face masks, sanitizer, and extra toiletries for folks who forgot them at home. We would gladly rent here again.

Charming house nestled up in a quiet neighborhood
Stayed here with a girlfriend. We were in town to visit my son. Great location, nice outside seating areas. It was cool during our visit so the fireplace was a nice addition. I loved the idea of the wine frig and just replace what you drink. We added five bottle of different wines for the next guest. I’m going to add this to my VRBO. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook anything you care to. Loved the stay and will be back

Amazing Relaxing Getaway
We absolutely loved this property. We spent every morning and evening relaxing on the deck and enjoying the finches and hummingbirds. This fit our "Wine Country Getaway" perfectly. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The decor is very pretty and the kitchen is well stocked-even wine there for you when you arrive.
The bathrooms are stocked with sample items available as well as plenty of towels.
The owners were very responsive to questions when we were unsure about travel plans due to combination of COVID and wildfires.
We had a wonderful time and will recommend to anyone traveling to the area in the future.
