We needed to stay in Hendersonville for an event close by. This house was spacious and fit our needs perfectly with a kitchen and washer/dryer.

The listing showed a shade cover on the patio- there wasn’t one. Grass needed to be cut. There were no blinds in the dining room or kitchen . We were there for several days for an event we work and there were no dressers to put clothes in. No end tables in the living room. As we were gone most of the day for work it wasn’t bad- would not rent for a vacation. Neighborhood was run down. Bed slept well and the home interior was clean. Outside unkept.

This property is well updated, has all necessary supplies and is in a fantastic location! The owner responds quickly to questions although we didn’t really have any concerns whatsoever just general questions. Can’t go wrong with this property!

Great place, convenient location near Hendersonville NC. Four friends stayed at the house for the Hope Dealer Training Conference. We had lots of room to hangout after the conference each day. The host was very nice and communicated promptly. I would highly recommend this house.

Huge fenced in yard great for dogs, clean home and well stocked for guests, great location. We will definitely be back again to stay.

Overall our stay was nice but the property “facts” and pictures were misleading. Pics show chairs in each room (none there now), blinds on all the windows (none at all in dining room or kitchen-we had to hang sheets up) and the listing stated there was cable but it is wireless internet only. If you want to watch something you have to use your personal log ins or you can message the host and she will provide hers. Communication was ok. Was told to call with any questions or issues (which I did) to only be told to communicate via texts. Got some responses in a timely manner but had a question about the heating system to which I never got a response. Overall it’s a nice property but just wanted to convey the whole picture for anyone who might be interested in booking.

The house was exceptionally clean, plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The location was in an older part of town, but was very quiet. The only complaint we had about the property was there were no blinds in the kitchen/dining area and both recliners on the couch were broken.

The property was exactly what we needed for our move to Hendersonville. A great fenced backyard with a huge deck and patio made the summer quite enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to downtown Hendersonville, Jackson Park and the Oklawha trail for riding our bikes. Owners were great and very responsive.

The weather during the visit was lousy, but house on the property had a very quiet and efficient climate control system. Just set the system for your desired temperature and it stayed there, in all the rooms, and in spite of a temp range of -3 to 29 degrees F. The layout of the house was wonderful and the property was well maintained and quiet. The neighbors seemed friendly. Plenty of parking and it had a nice patio and fire pit which we used on the one day the wind was not blowing. We would visit this place again if the need arose.

Location was short drive to the downtown area. Neighborhood is an older one with small homes. Trailer park near by was a little run down but the street itself was quiet. Houses are close by with very little privacy. Back yard is big and fenced in. Perfect for dogs. Other houses back up to the back yard. House is very clean and bathrooms have been updated. TV has only one channel basically. It is a smart TV so there are different apps to use.... Netflix etc. Kitchen has a few pots and pans and basic utencils. Be sure to bring extra trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels.
Over all the house was very nice, clean and perfect for our stay. It may look small from the front but it has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Outdoor deck was nice during sunny weather. Shade tarp only. Not water proof. I would not hesitate to return. Pleasant over all.

We spent 2 nights at this rental. It was clean, comfy, and very well supplied. My only suggestion would be that the owner could add a few end tables to the living area and a comfy chair for each of the 2 larger bedrooms. The rental process and check-in were easy. We would definitely stay here again.

The home is located in an ideal location; close to several apple orchards and downtown Hendersonville or Flat Rock.

The back yard is very private and cozy. We spent our evenings gathered around the fire pit.

We were close by so many things to do - we shopped and ate downtown, drove 25 minutes to Looking Glass Waterfall and had a great time! Everything was clean and comfortable for our stay at the property!

Overall great place and great location
The space was great for two families (four adults and five kids total). The location is so close to Hendersonville, and 20 minutes to DuPont State Forest, which is also fantastic for kids-- check out Hooker Falls and Triple Falls for some easy hikes and great swimming spots!
We cooked every meal instead of eating out, and the kitchen was sufficient. No mixing bowls or baking pans with raised sides, but otherwise had all the cookware we needed. Don't count on there being "staples" in the pantry. (The listing does not mention this so they weren't misrepresenting anything, but I know sometimes rentals will have them, so just be aware that you probably need to bring everything you need-- toiletries included. There was handsoap, dish detergent, and laundry detergent provided.)
Check in was super easy with just a key passcode. I only communicated with the owners once, pre-arrival, but when I did, they responded quickly. The house was very clean overall, but some of the throw pillows had stains.
Be advised that even though the listing mentions video games and other toys/games, there is no console, and no games other than some 1,000 piece puzzles. Also, the coffee maker is a Keurig, and you need to bring your own K-cups.

Comfy clean place
My husband and I and our adult daughters stayed here for Christmas while we visited family. The house looks small on the outside but the lay out made it much bigger on the inside. Very comfortable family room, 3 decent sized bedrooms with comfortable beds, big kitchen table for all of us to gather around. We loved spending time by the fire pit in the fenced in backyard, swapping stories and laughing. The neighborhood isn't fancy but it was definitely quiet and safe. The smart TV was a little temperamental but I just screencasted my favorite sites (Netflix, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime) and it was great. Plan to stay here again for our next visit!

Excellent find!
We had a wonderful stay in Hendersonville at this property! Although the drive in looks to be in an older, slightly run down area, we felt very safe and it was a very convenient location to restaurants and the downtown area. The house was a great size for two couples and kids. We had plenty of room for a blow up mattress in master the bedroom floor, and I even found an air mattress and pump in the closet, if needed. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for s’mores as well. Heather was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with throughout our stay. We will definitely consider this property again for future trips.

Corr Family Vacation
We had a very enjoyable stay here. Only problem was the batteries in smoke alarms put in backwards so they were chirping every few minutes in each room. We wrapped alarms in fuzzy socks until Heather came back in to town. No biggie. Large yard for our Labrador. Home is much roomier inside than it looks from the outside. We had a wonderful visit, the weather was beautiful and sunny in the 70 and 80*s.

Comfortable/Efficient Stay
We were a family and some friends who were in the area to participate in the Spartan race at the Tyron Equestrian Center. The house was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The ranch format of the house was wonderful for our group—no staircase to guard the toddler from, no remote places for kids to get involved in mischief, and yet plenty of room for all to sleep and visit. There was a spacious deck and yard for the kids to run around in. The house was close to groceries and the Flat Rock playground. That playground was one of the finest we’ve encountered in our 12 years of child-rearing. It was wonderful to have laundry access especially after the race. The entertainment tech setup was
easy to navigate. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again.

Wonderful Experience
We came up for the weekend for my son's 5th birthday. We had an amazing experience! The house was close to everything and it was a great central location so we were able to stop between activities and unload for a few. Close to downtown Hendersonville, and Flat Rock and only a short drive from many other activities. We went to Carl Sandburg Historical House the first evening, then we did apple picking at Sky Top Orchard, Gem mining at Elijah Mountain Gem Mine, went to Jump Off Rock, and The Park at Flat Rock (coolest playground ever there if you have LO's) on day two. Today we are going to Dupont National forest after we check out then heading home. Heather was great to work with, we didn't stay at the house much as we were out and about doing things. I did see a review saying it was in a bad neighborhood and while it's not in an upscale neighborhood I would not call it a "bad" neighborhood and I felt perfectly safe staying there. All in all it was the perfect trip and we are looking forward to coming back again!

Beautiful and Cozy
Our stay was very pleasant but there were just a few issues..i saw a few ants on the counter and when i cut the kitchen sink on, only the spray nozzle worked and we couldn't get it to do anything else. The lights seemed to flicker real bad when using the stove/microwave and the guest bathroom sink backed up. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much and would go back again! It was small yet had enough sleep space for everyone!
