Everything was incredible at this gem of a place. The room was spacious and clean, the pool was stunning and the firepit in the evening was a big bonus. But more than that, the staff were superb. Embarrassingly our Spanish is terrible but the staff were warm, patient, kind and informative. I wish I could remember everyone's names who helped us out but special thanks to Marco, Angie and Saul (I think), who kindly gave us a lift to the local restaurant as we don't have a car. The whole team went above and beyond, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

the rules of not drinking an own beer at the pool however is just rubbish and honestly hearing this in the first 10 min of the stay is non-welcoming.

The property is beautiful, with so much whimsical attention to detail. We loved our room and our bed. Such a special place. The family/staff who attended us were warm and welcoming. Filling and delicious Tico breakfast.

The property was beautiful! Lush garden surroundings and an incredibly beautiful pool. The room was huge with two king sized beds.

The wifi was spotty and when the place filled up on the weekend the hot water was gone.

The facilities are the most beautiful and artsy I have seen in a hotel, the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and comfy. People are really friendly, both the staff and the guests. The food is delicious, although I think it is overpriced. The pool was my absolute favorite.

Everything was exceptional, clean and beautifully decorated. Food was pricey though and the dynamic for food being only available with reservation should have been notified previous to the arrival because the guests had to wait until dinner to eat. I know that the web page may have the information but for those of us booking through Booking or seeing the page on Facebook that information is not visible and was not included in the email automatically sent after the reservaation. In general communication host - guest should improve. It was very difficult for me to get ahold of someone to ask for the menu days before the stay, as well as to ask about a special situation. Also after them checking the room after we checked out, nobody came to let us know they were done with it, until they noticed we were hanging at the lobby for a while.

Everything. The pool is amazing the grounds deco, the staff and the gallo pinto!

The shower. We were in Amapola and the shower had no pressure at all. Water would come out crazy and there was no hot water. We wished we knew before sleeping with the ac on all night. It was a freezer + cold water. It wasn’t the most pleasant experience.

Beautiful scenery, peace and quiet. The pool is lovely and has 3 smaller ambiances. The food is very good, a little expensive like everything in CR. Staff was kind and communicative.

The superior king bed was two beds pushed together to make one. And not very comfortable. No TV, no fridge. You can't consume food or alcohol brought from outside the hotel.
