Location, amenities, provisions & the hosts were all great.

At first, we were disappointed there were no cooking facilities, which forced us to eat out - which was a good option to tasting the great local foods.

Excellent. A great place to relax for a couple of days on the way back from further north. It is close to good food options, walks and access to the water.

Fantastic hosts, and a great location. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with lots of special touches including a lovely breakfast spread and other snacks. Would love to come back and stay again!

The property was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable.

The room offered to me was not as originally described on Bookings.com. There were actually two rooms available at this property but only one (the larger family room) had a description and photographs. When I arrived at the property I was offered the second room which was actually a cabin (newly renovated garage) located at the back of the property that did not have its own bathroom or toilet facilities. The owner of the property then informed me that the bathroom facilities were located across the other side of the yard at the rear of the main house and as it was cold and raining made it very uncomfortable (as an older lady to access the toilet during the early hours of the morning in the dark!). I therefore told the owner that this arrangement was not specified in the Bookings.com description of the property and that she should rectify the description as it was misleading and I believe she told her partner to change the description on Bookings.com that afternoon. Also there was a local community Ironman event being held the next day directly outside this property for a period of 12 hours from 6:00 am until 6pm. The entire road was restricted from vehicle and pedestrian access for several kilometres and I feel that the property owners should have alerted me of the inconvenience in advance so that I could have reconsidered my booking. Lastly, the television reception was very poor and I was unable to get free to air tv channels and there was no thought of the owners to provide any pamphlets or information on local attractions/restaurants/clubs/pharmacists or medical attention in the local area.

Central location. We could walk to restaurants and the river.

amazing little B&B. lovely host, close to cafes and the location of the wedding we were attending. little touches were very sweet. we took the chocolates for the kids :p

Very convenient but is on a main road

I would have appreciated a folder with cards of the main eating places in North Haven and Laurieton. We could have rung to check availability. We arrived around 6pm on a public holiday and spent 40mins looking for somewhere to have aeal
