This property was perfect! The house is pristinely clean, very cozy and comfortable, provided privacy and quiet. After a day of hiking, we looked forward to sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and a book followed by the hot tub, all with an amazing mountain view. Communication with Lisa was easy and informative. Beautiful location to visit and hike the Great Smokey Mountains, visit Lake Junaluska walking trail that encircles the lake, rent a kayak or go swimming in this pristine lake. We will be back to this lovely cabin!

Great location. Beautiful views. Had a black bear on the property the first night we were in town. Saw elk in Catalooche Valley, and black bears on the Blue Ridge Parkway. If we ever find ourselves in Maggie Valley again, we will definitely be staying at the Bella Vista.

Our weekend stay was absolutely wonderful. The cabin is as comfortable as home, but with a much better view! Lisa put so much thought into the extra touches - like bird seed and hummingbird water to keep the bird feeders full. We really enjoyed the hot tub and just how peaceful it was out on the deck. And did I mention the view? Whenever I hear the term million-dollar view, it will remind me of our stay at Bella Vista.

We had a great stay, the house was perfect and the Hot tub was very nice. Close to town and other areas of the mountains. We saw a herd of Elk!

We booked a last minute trip for the MLK long weekend and just wanted a relaxing place with Mountain views - we got that and more! First, the host was so easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The home is located above most of the others in the neighborhood so it really felt private. The kitchen had every item you might need and the wood burning fireplace was a fun treat. Plenty of hot water and towels too. The only thing I’d change is that we didn’t get snow - if the hosts can find a way to control the weather, that would be even better! :)

We had a wonderful quiet Thanksgiving at Bella Vista! Kitchen had everything we needed and the views were spectacular. The best part was being able to bring our dog! Lisa was incredibly responsive and helpful; we will definitely visit again!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay so very much. The cabin is cozy and provided with all the little details that make it feel like home. We loved hanging out on the deck, looking at the view and watching the birds. The hot tub was sparkling clean and refreshing. The cabin is very close to the Smoky Mountains National Park and all those activities, as well as Waynesville with great restaurants. This was the best VRBO stay I’ve had, hands down. Thank you so much!

What a beatiful place. The views from the cabin were spectacular. The cabin was very comfortable and convenient to every thing we did. There is a lot to do in the area. We went to the Biltmore, The Blue ridge parkway and to Waynesville (great place). Our 4 days there were awesome.

From the moment we arrived to our departure everything was perfect. We were greeted with a thoughtful basket with a mini waffle maker, pancake mix and syrup so we didn’t have to think about what to do for breakfast in the morning. WiFi worked great as did television ( although we only watched it for an hour). The views from the deck are stunning and the owner has bird feeders as well as bird feed so you can watch the birds. Hot tub was very clean and relaxing after a day adventuring around the mountains. Bed was comfy and bathrooms very clean. The owner has thought of everything from lint brushes to scotch tape and we felt very at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to anyone and we will definitely be back again. Thank you again,Lisa, for your hospitality.

This cabin was perfect!!! The owners covered every detail one would need for an incredible stay. Just bring your toothbrush. I’d highly recommend staying here, taking in the beauty of Maggie Valley and relaxing.

We have rented many vacation homes. This home would be my number one pick! It was easy to get to & the owner is fantastic. The cabin has everything you need. I mean everything! We took our groceries. There was a gas grill and charcoal grill. Sitting on the deck watching the bird feeder and hummingbird feeder was great with the view of the mountains. The weather was perfect to open the windows and doors. The home was very clean and the beds were comfortable and that says alot from a person that is spoiled with a Tempur-pedic. The home is the last home on the road and its very private. We took a day and drove the Blue Ridge Mountain Pkwy all the way to Ashville. Highly recommend. Breathtaking views throughout. We will definitely be back.

Bella Vista is as advertised…great location with a view to match. We stopped in Maggie Valley for a couple days to hike and sight see. The house is very well situated to take advantage of everything the area has to offer and has everything you will need for your stay.

Cabin was easy to find and entry was simple. The road up to it is like many mountain residential areas with a steep grade but the blacktop surface is in good shape so we had no issues. Four wheel drive not needed in dry conditions. While there are other homes near this cabin it’s at the end of the road so very private. Hot tub was good. Bathrooms and kitchen spotless. Very clean throughout and decorated nicely. Furniture was very comfortable. Grill worked fine. View was beautiful even at night with lights very visible on opposite mountain side. One little thing that I especially appreciate on cabins like this are gates on the entry to the deck to keep the dog in. This had one and is always more important than some might think. I could see it from the pictures and that is one of the reason I picked this place. With all things said above along with Lisa being a really great host it was a very nice stay and I would definitely return.

We had an amazing time staying at Lisa and Craig’s. We enjoyed the hot tub each chilly morning and cozied up by the fire each night. The proximity to the Polar Express, tubing, hot springs and Asheville was perfect to get our Christmas on. We loved it and will surely be back!!

We had a wonderful relaxing week at Bella Vita. The fireplace, hot tub, birds, and starry nights made for a blissful time in the mountains! We love it even more after we got engaged there on our second night! ten minutes from Cataloochee slopes and great restaurants within a 30 minute drive. this was the perfect balance of rest and relaxation and fun and excitement! Highly recommend and we’ll be back!

This was one of the best cabins we’ve been to! The BEST view, hot tub, fire place, cleanliness, and space!! We’ve been to about 15 cabins and like 5 in Maggie Valley and this is the best one! This was a short birthday trip for me! Also, book a massage with Rachel Green at Maggie Valley Wellness Canter and you will not be disappointed! We hope to visit this cabin again in the future!

This was our second stay at Belle Vista, and we were once again VERY pleased with the owners’ hospitality and their care for us during our stay. We enjoyed the magnificent view, the fireplace and hot tub, the birds that flitted in and out of the feeders, and (when the sky was clear) a view of the stars at night. The kitchen is well equipped for what we needed, and there was a choice of charcoal grills and a newish gas grill. So much attention has been given to guests’ interests and needs that once you get there, you feel like you’ve found your joy and your respite. The instructions tell you what’s there and what you may want to bring with you. It applies to stuff like paper towels etc but also to internet access. The Wi-Fi worked great, but when you are in the mountains, internet can be be finicky— at their best, internet providers can only do so much (and speeds may be slower than you are used to at home). We used our cellular devices (Verizon) as backup—something we’ve learned by living and traveling in these parts.

BEST home we’ve rented in the area by far!! Very clean, stocked with everything you need, comfortable couch and bed, easy drive up to house (no crazy roads/driveway) and the view of the mountains is absolutely beautiful!! My husband enjoyed soaking in the hot tub morning AND night while watching all the birds . Cannot say enough great things about this home away from home and the owner, Love, love!!
