Great well stocked property for a big group.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We picked this home for the large gathering spaces - kitchen, dining and living room. It is just as pictured. Each room is well appointed with comfortable bedding and the bathrooms were well stocked with all the essentials.
Great parking with two trailers and our kids really enjoyed the outdoor areas. The owners were able to make recommendations on great things to do and places to eat in the area which was a wonderful resource. They were very responsive when needed.
Our only drawback was that there is no central air and with the size of this home the few fans and mobile ac units just didn't put a dent in the above average temperatures. It was hard to cool the home down to even a comfortable temperature until well after sunset.

Laura Benton was a pleasure to deal with and exceptionally responsive. We had an issue with the front door lock making a high pitch noise for 2-days but someone came out quickly to try and resolve on the 1st day and did resolve on the second day. It was not convenient to have to wait until 5pm to ck in as this is too late in the day.

Excellent property, highly recommend to anyone. I stayed there twice and likely to come back again. There is nothing better in the area for a large party.

Several of us gathered to attend a wedding in ridgway. This space was perfect for people coming and going. The kitchen is set for many people - dishes, pots and pans, and large table for eating. Had fun at the game table plus breakfast on the deck. We had ages 25-95 and all went well.

The house was perfect for our needs. It is huge and beautiful. Tons of space for different groups to hang out in the living room, kitchen, basement pool table room. we had between 18 and 20 people staying comfortably, each with a comfy bed. The two master bedrooms are fantastic. Master shower is over the top. Two large refrigerators and the devil oven were super helpful. Super quick drive to Ridgway or Ouray. Great experience, overall!

This is a beautiful large vacation house, large family room, dining room, nice kitchen and eating area. Two large nicely decorated master bedrooms. Basement with 5 more bedrooms, all adequately sized. Outdoor deck with table for 6, patio. Sure to amaze when you first see it! Cons are no central air, difficult to cool especially the bedrooms late on a hot day. Silverware was just adequate for 10 people. Windows are all crank windows and a number of the windows do not work for varying reasons. Some exteriorstone is falling from deteriorating fireplace chimney in master bedroom. Location is about 12minutes to Ouray, 15 minutes to Ridgeway State Park. I saw 25 species of birds over the week off the back deck. Nice variety. Would stay again!

I am a CO native and have spent time in Ouray since childhood. Could not ask for a more gorgeous, idyllic setting for a getaway. The house has a convenient location off the highway leading to Ridgway and is very spacious. The huge living room was awesome for our guests. There is a beautiful creek right outside the back of the home that is fantastic to listen to at night with the windows open. Overall a wonderful place and lovely, spacious older home that has had a significant amount of updating done. My only complaints are: (1) internet worked for none of our guests, IP address could not be detected by any devices; (2) some windows in the home do not open, the cranks are apparently stuck; (3) the downstairs was very musty when we first arrived, had to be aired out; (4) communication with property manager could have been better, I had requested an early check-in over a month prior and was told I would be informed if we could do that, and never heard anything until day of arrival. This is a very expensive VRBO to rent as the whole home, and for the high price we paid it seems reasonable to expect internet as promised (a few of us had to work each day), and slightly better service. Overall, again, a beautiful home and you just can’t beat Ouray.

The grounds are awesome! The house is awesome! We were able to have family and friends of 18-20. We had privacy in rooms and plenty of space for gatherings. This is a fabulous property for a large group. The management was wonderful. The location was private yet close to any things. Beautiful area! We will definitely come again. This beautiful, spacious home was beyond our expectations and our family & friends were very happy with our stay. The home was accommodating to all of our guests, from the well equipped kitchen to the added toiletries that made it so convenient. My husband and I rented this home, along with the smaller home on property, to host our families and close friends for our Ouray wedding. It was everything we could have wished for and more. This larger home gave our family the space to spread out but also enjoy some extended connectivity. The convenience between the two homes was truly awesome and helped more times that I could count that we weren't running people around all weekend to different hotels or locations! Thank you to Laura for being so responsive the months leading up to and for the duration of our stay. I had so many questions while planning everything for our weekend and was grateful to get my questions answered so quickly!
Location is equidistant between Ridgway and Ouray which was very beneficial to our weekend activities. You definitely feel remote and tucked away with the deer roaming in the mornings across the property. Absolutely STUNNING great room and dining room. We loved these areas as a family SO MUCH. This home is more spacious than the photos can show and is very very clean. Everyone was happy and very cozy!

We rented this home and the guest house for our family to stay in during our intimate wedding and it was perfect!! The house was so clean and beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone to stay and the dining room was wonderful for big family meals. The property manager was also incredibly responsive. We had a wonderful stay!

We had about 16 adults and one 6 month old stay at the house. It’s a beautiful, spacious house and was very convenient to Ouray. We never once felt like we were on top of each other. We did wish that there was a few more staples in the kitchen for cooking, or even some coffee. Overall, we had a positive experience and would definitely stay again!

Our extended family of twelve, ages 26 up to 93, had a wonderful stay here. The setting and location are great, and there is so much space, both inside and outdoors! Granny was very comfortable staying at the house while we others were in and out with outdoor activities. The younger generation had their own space to retreat downstairs. The kitchen was great, and the huge dining table allowed us to all eat together. The house exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

This property was outstanding. There is so much room to spread out that even with a large group we weren’t on top of each other. The kitchen had more cooking utensils than we expected and made it easy to cook for our group. Thanks for a delightful stay!

Wonderful home with ample space for kids and adults to spread out and enjoy each other's company. Large kitchen which made it easy to prepare meals and plenty of space to sit and eat together. Convenient location just outside of Ouray but quiet and secluded. We had several deer and turkeys wandering the property while we were there. Our family of 17 aged 1 to 62 all had a wonderful experience.

Overall we had a wonderful experience. The home’s patio’s view is gorgeous. Worth every penny! Only issue we had is we didn’t know some of the rules prior to booking (if they were on the site I just missed them - which is highly possible). Drinks and food were only allowed in the kitchen and/or dining room, so we voiding have a family movie night or enjoy visiting while having a drink, which was just hard with a family gathering. That being said, if my home was that gorgeous, I wouldn’t want anyone eating and/or drinking in my living room either! 😉

We had a group of friends out to ski, hot spring, and hang out at the house and this was the perfect spot! Comfortably sleeps 18, but the house is absolutely massive so you will have plenty of space! We would 6 come back, we want to come back this summer if possible!

We traveled with my husbands large family (16 people) and had plenty of space to spread around. We made use of every room because we had 6 different couples and the teens also needed their own space. It never felt cramped. The size of this place is massive. Due to unusual weather this year we didn’t get much snow until later in our stay, but we traveled to Silverton and Durango for the polar express and snowmobiling and enjoyed plenty of snow there. We saw deer around the house and elk in the mountains. Ouray itself had plenty to do. We took advantage of vinegar hill for sledding and tried several of the restaurants, all of which were delicious. The kids didn’t want to leave the hot springs. Tip for the hot springs: take sandals or slippers if going in the winter. The walk to and from the pool is icy cold. A bath robe will come in handy too if a towel is just not enough. Kitchen was stocked well. They clean out the fridge and pantry, so if you plan to eat at the house, there is a grocery store 10 minutes away in ridgeway but it’s much cheaper to shop in montrose (45 mins away). I definitely recommend this house to anyone traveling with a large group.

We chose this as our homebase for a Purgatory skiing spring break. We absolutely loved the quaint town. The house is very open, spacious, and enough room for a large family. The kids enjoyed the pool table. Kitchen had everything we could want. Internet access was surprisingly good. My husband had some zoom calls to do and managed without a problem.

The house was absolutely amazing! There were 16 of us staying in the home and we never felt like we were running into one another and had a lot of space to stretch out and relax. The outdoor fire pit was a great break nightly and we absolutely loved this home! This was by far one of the cleanest homes we have ever rented! We hope to stay here again in the future!

We love the Cutler creek property and brought more family with us this year for a total of 20 to enjoy Ouray, Ridgeway, Telluride and Montrose. So much fun hiking and jeeping. Next year we may need the back cottage too. We rent properties across the US and Laura is hands down the BEST property manager to work with.

This cabin was perfect! Location is amazing very close to beautiful Ouray! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and the views are amazing. We stayed during thanksgiving break had lots of fun in the snow and saw a lot of deer also. The cabin is very spacious and very clean! The property manager and the owner were both very nice and accommodating to our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Our quilt guild has held several retreats at this wonderful lodge and we will be renting it again and again! The lodge is beautiful and comfortable with a great kitchen, dinning room, living area, laundry room and lots of bed and bathrooms. Jennifer is amazing to work with and we could be happier!
