Adorable Beach Bungalow - Awesome location! Walk to beach and town!
Davvero una casa lontano da casa! Il cottage, rinnovato nel 2012 e situato al 128 di St. Superior, è composto da cinque camere da letto, due bagni completi e 11 posti letto. Le tre camere da letto al piano superiore dispongono di una camera matrimoniale con letto matrimoniale, una camera con due letti singoli e una camera con un letto matrimoniale e due letti a castello. Le due camere al piano inferiore dispongono di un letto matrimoniale e l'altra di un letto a rotelle (due materassi gemelli). Il tavolo da pranzo ha molti posti a sedere con panca e la TV al plasma da 42 pollici nella camera familiare rende piacevole la visione della TV. La planimetria a concetto aperto massimizza lo spazio e scorre comodamente. Goditi il portico schermato del cottage dove puoi guardare gli andirivieni di tutti mentre vanno in spiaggia o in centro, e la parte migliore, le zanzare non ti prenderanno! È sempre il luogo preferito da tutti per rilassarsi! Il cottage è a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e dal centro - un isolato dalla spiaggia e due isolati dal lungofiume e dal centro. Guarda a ovest e puoi catturare lo splendido tramonto o passeggiare fino alla scogliera per vedere lo skyline da vicino e personale! I bambini hanno bisogno di bruciare un po 'di vapore? Camminali a pochi isolati dal grande parco e parco giochi per famiglie, Kid's Corner. Troveranno anche intrattenimento nella "stanza dei bambini" che presenta alcuni giocattoli, cavalletto e un tavolo artigianale per bambini. Porta le tue biciclette o noleggile da uno dei tanti negozi di noleggio biciclette in città e goditi il VanBuren Bike Trail, che passa comodamente dal cottage.

Tutto quello che devi fare è portare i tuoi vestiti e il telo da mare!

This house is wonderful! It is within walking distance to both the beach and downtown and the owners let us borrow the beach wagon, which really helped. They provided all that was necessary and we had enough room inside and out for the 9 of us. It was clean, well decorated and had new heating/air and appliances. Thank you for letting us stay at your place!

We had a great time, all as promised. 2 blocks from the overlook of the lake, 4 blocks to get to South Beach, about 6 blocks to downtown. Great house for the 10 of us. We hope to return. Thanks Amy!

Overall, the beach bungalow is a fantastic place and I recommend it to others! I’ll be happy to stay there again if I find myself in south haven in the future. It’s got everything you need and is steps away from the beach. It was a great place to have fun, unplug, and relax.

The Beach House was a perfect getaway for us! Location is excellent- very close to the beach and walking distance from downtown. We loved the screened in porch for morning coffee and evening relaxation time. Highly recommend!

The location of this house is perfect - two blocks to the stairs to the beach, easy walk to downtown.
I thought, from the photos, the house was recently renovated or maybe even new. It is not. It was renovated at some time, but the floors are slanted and the fixtures show wear. All of that was fine, I just expecting something newer.
The house decor is cute. The furniture is comfortable, though there are not enough seats for the number of guests it can accommodate. The dining table only has benches. The stove needs to be lighted with a lighter, and the dishwasher is small. There is no real yard, so cookouts would be on the driveway.
Having said that, we had a great time! Just think of it as an older South Haven house - it was like many others we have stayed in.

The space was clean and well maintained. We had 2 families stay there with 5 kids under 7 and the layout was perfect for it. One family of 4 took the downstairs bedrooms and family of 5 upstairs. The kids toys was a welcomed bonus for our Littles, and the common area was big enough we didn't feel crowded on a rainy day. We walked to town and the beach every day and even a couple of the kids could walk it without riding in a wagon. I would recommend this house to families, and would stay here again 100%.

Second year staying at this place. Clean and perfect location. 2 blocks to beach and town! Owner extremely responsive. Had one small issue and the owner had someone out to fix it ASAP. Will definitely stay here again.

This house is very charming. The screened in porch was a wonderful way to share our coffee in the morning, and wine in the evening. The beach is a quick stroll to watch the magnificent sunsets. My sisters & I had a marvelous time.
The owner was very responsive to our requests. Overall, it was fabulous.

Location was ideal, about 2 blocks from the beach and a short walk to downtown. The place was configured well for us, kids upstairs, parents downstairs. Despite being an older building the house was clean. The only real issue was the upstairs was hot. The air conditioning system works, but it is out of balance, downstairs ok, upstairs hot. The kids did not mind much, but I would have trouble sleeping if we had to sleep upstairs.

Please read Pat M.’s review of July 17th. We found similar conditions during our 8/1-8/8 stay … which means that the owner did little to resolve any of the issues after Pat M.’s review was posted. In addition, we found the couch stained and dirty, filthy windowsills, a broken window latch in the kitchen held together with masking tape, a broken bathroom fan, a bedroom smoke detector hanging by wires from the ceiling and without a battery, completely demolished upstairs bathroom window blinds and a large kitchen floor vent filled with a spider web so large it was horrific. We did not feel comfortable at all letting our grandson crawl on the floor. Plus, there was only one key for the entire house. In our case we DID contact the owner who offered us a full refund if we wanted to leave – a completely unworkable remedy as this was our family vacation, we live across the country and South Haven was fully booked. The next day the owner brought flowers and wine and came over to clean. She also sent her handyman over on Tuesday for some of the other repairs. But the communication and visits required to even partially remedy the situation – not to mention our ongoing questioning of the cleanliness of the home – disrupted and put a damper on our one-week vacation. I understand the quirks and quaintness of an older beach home, but the disrepair and poor equipping of this one felt incommensurate with the cost – which was much pricier than listed due to high-season rates.

The kitchen is older and full of ants - any food left on the counter overnight was completely overrun with ants the next morning. And most concerningly, the staircase does not have a railing and we spent the entire trip afraid that one of the kids (ages 7, 4, 3, 1.5 and 1) would fall over the 5-6 foot drop and get hurt. It made for a rather stressful trip. We were also disappointed to arrive at check-in time and find that the house was still being cleaned. We weren't able to access the house until almost 45 minutes later, which is quite a long time when you have hot, melting down kids. Overall we'd recommend the house to families with older kids or adults-only based on the location alone, but would strongly recommend against for families like us with young children given the stair rail situation.

8 adults stayed in the house for our stay and it worked out so well! The location is walking distance to the beach and to downtown so we walked everywhere. Wonderful trip and the list of things to do that the property manager left for us was so helpful!
