The property was beautiful, but we had a few issues. There were multiple large stains on the carpet, the floor in the kitchen/living room was not recently swept so we had to do that, the outdoor tables were very dirty that we also has to clean. There are no basic food supplies or cleaning supplies so make sure you bring anything you may possibly need. The grill would only heat up to 150 degrees so don't plan on using the grill for cooking. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

It was a wonderful vacation and the house is 5-10 minutes away from wisp resort. The hot tub was great along with the pool table. The wii may need to be updated or have all working parts.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The location was close to the boat slip, close to amenities, and the views are beautiful!!
We had never boated on Deep Creek lake before…what a beautiful, clean body of water. Put this lake on your must do list!

When we arrived to the property the outside of the home was deteriorated. The steps to come on to the entry were on a downward slope. Upon entering the home we were unhappy with the cleanliness. There were cobwebs, dust and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The cabinets were greasy and a cup had gum on it. Some of the TVs did not work. The whole first day was spent with the cleaning lady, who was wonderful, me washing blankets, and repairmen for televisions and gas fireplace. No logs for the wood fireplace, which was in horrible condition. My family came to visit while all this was going on. We felt like one whole day was taken away from us due to all the issues. Broken toaster, tv, jets and light on hot tub, microwave, functionality was off, refrigerator had sticky substance on the bottom, beer bottle by hot tub and driveway, and the gas grill was greasy and dirty. Took pictures of all but nowhere to upload. The best part was the view!

We spent Thanksgiving with our family in this home. The views and the home definitely exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was large and very well equipped and perfect for preparing large family meals. The bedspreads need to be updated as they were a bit worn and the sofa bed mattresses are almost completely broken down. There were also large cobwebs on the upper windows that need to be cleaned. But all in all it was a great house and we would definitely stay here again!

The house is nice and accommodated a large group nicely. Because the house is for sale, it was shown to potential buyers during our stay. The house could have been cleaner (several cobwebs) and one of the dining table chairs was broken. Finally, the house was heated very unevenly with some areas frigid and others comfortable.

This property was absolutely fantastic. The house is stunning with absolutely incredible views! It's a great location, less than 10 minutes to Wisp Resort for skiing and tubing. The hot tub was great after skiing!
The kitchen had everything we needed for meals. There was more than enough seating for everyone in our group!
It is important to note that there are 2 pull out couches, I don't think they could have fit 2 adults (to sleep a total of 12), we had 10 people and it was fine. The heating of the house was a little off too, it was FREEZING in the basement but very hot in the upstairs.

The stove did not distribute heat evenly and it seemed the only setting available was high. The dishwasher took an incredibly long time to cycle. When we arrived the water was not turned on for us. We wouldn't rent this home again. The time with our friends was awesome though and the proximity to state parks for hiking was ideal.

It was a decent experience. The house was large enough for the 8 adults and 1 child which stayed. The view from the top deck of the lake was great. The open concept living room and kitchen onto the top deck was nice for interacting with everyone. The only concern that I had was the overall cleanliness of the home. There were several cobwebs, spider webs in the basement and the lower deck. There were several large dead bugs in the basement and on the bottom deck. It was apparent that nobody had stayed there in a while, unless they just avoided the basement and bottom deck. It certainly was overlooked by the cleaning staff. Good experience overall. The early check-out at 10 a.m. is a little bit cumbersome, especially with it being labor day, and the chances that the rental is booked for the day after labor day being slim.

Pros: Location, view, great hot tub and nice jacuzzi tub in master bdrm, decent pool table Cons: 10am checkout is ridiculous, only 1 A/C zone for 3 levels meant the bottom floor was freezing, bottom floor was musty, the master shower was too slippery to use plus the water pressure was very weak. Also we were interrupted 2 of our 4 days- unannounced painter stopped by and landscapers- we were just heading out to the hot tub when they showed up.

This house was great. Extremely easy to find and the location was perfect for everything from grocery runs to skiing. I only have two minor criticisms: when we arrived, the walkway from the driveway to the entrance had been shoveld but was extremely icy. Was a bit of a downer to arrive to that, as we essentially had to skate our way to the door. We did find a shovel and some salt by the front door to further shovel the ice, but it would have been nice for that to be done prior to arrival. The only other ding was the fire place on the main level was extremely loud, so much so that we had to unplug it because it drowned out the tv, music, conversation, etc. Other than those two minor things, this place is great - the photos are accurate, and the view from the hot tub is as great as it looks in the photos. Would highly recommend to anyone.
