We had such a wonderful time! All our first visit to Savannah. We saw many historical sites, tried local eateries and pubs, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Would love to visit again and experience and see more.

Furnishings and decor curated to match the charm of the home and area-lots of fun to look through/at everything. The backyard patio was a favorite spot-quiet, peaceful and a lovely garden. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very close- 2 min walk -to free DOT bus that takes you downtown. Free street parking in area, just make sure to read parking signs and move on street cleaning days, or if free after 5p, etc.

The ground floor flat is spacious, and has a lovely courtyard in the back.
The house two doors down has been in renovstuons for the past six months (finished), and the home next door had been in renovations for the same amount if time. Lots of construction noise from 8 AM

We really enjoyed staying at this Apartment, Beautiful property and Excellent Location. We definitely plan on coming back. We loved being right across from the park, we were able to walk to most places. Only problem was that we didn't stay long enough.

We enjoyed this apartment so much!! It was a terrific location and equipped for all our needs. I was looking at staying in a hotel and so glad we didn’t. It’s a large apartment With two living areas, a full kitchen, bedroom and an updated bath. Husband likes to sleep late and I like to get up and drink my coffee. Being able to close off doors is wonderful. The laundry area with full size washer and dryer was a huge help in the Savannah heat. 😊 Thank you, thank you to the host and the owners for making our stay and historic Savannah a wonderful surprise!!

This apt was absolutely perfect! Perfect street, perfect amenities, just perfect all around. This was our first time in Savannah and we will be booking this place any time we come back. Parking was super easy. If you get there after 5 pm just know you don’t pay the for parking till 8am the next day. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. It was awesome!

Super great location just around the corner from Forsyth Park! We had a great stay here. We were originally confused when first checking in because we went to the blue colored door on the “second floor”, but the correct door is on the ground floor.
Other than that, the place was nice. It is super easy to get to and walk to where we needed to go.

This is a wonderful place for those seeking some rest and relaxation. It is just a few steps away from Forsyth Park and close to town and excellent restaurants. Easy street parking with accessible free spots just south of the apartment.

Incredible space, really well done and well stocked. Location was terrific for all we wanted to do. Parking not an issue. Quiet area, we enjoyed a glass of wine in the courtyard to end our day. It will be my first choice on my next trip to Savannah.

The apt was exactly as advertised, the location was perfect -- less than a block from Forsyth Park and within walking range of everything we wanted to do or see in Savannah -- and the owner was very responsive.

The location of our VRBO rental was outstanding! It was within walking distance to so many things. The apartment met our needs. The only downfalls were, when we checked in there was a faint odor of wet dog which activated my wife’s allergy. The back garden could have been restful, but it needed a good cleaning. We only wiped off a couple of chair cushions and the table. We also could not find the light switch to the overhead light in the garden. Sitting out there around 8:00 when the evenings were so pleasant would have been enhanced with a little light. Still the many positives of the place outweigh the couple of critiques from me.

It was totally enjoyable and the house was the best. Beatifilly decorated. Welcoming to my dogs. It was absolutely the best. The weather on yhe last day was so bad, decided to leave a little early, but it was a great experience.

We were in Savannah for the Christmas Tour of Homes which was wonderful. Our stay at the apartment was centrally located to everything. We enjoyed our walks across the street to Forsyth Park. We hope to stay here again on our next trip!

Stayed over thanksgiving weekend - location can’t be beat. Everything is within walking distance. Neighborhood seemed relatively safe and scenic. House was well stocked with everything although we didn’t use much. Photos on the listing make the house look smaller than what it is! It was very roomy.

We were in Savannah to attend our granddaughter’s wedding and festivities connected therewith. Six of the family would wind up the day by visiting with us at the garden apartment, and it was lovely. The outdoor terrace is private and peaceful. The street was quiet at night and very convenient to everything. Also, the bed was comfortable, which was important to us. We had a most enjoyable stay.

My husband & I had a pleasant & relaxing time in Savannah. We discovered the Dot, a free shuttle bus that takes you along Drayton & Whittaker streets. You can reach most of the main sites without a lot of walking. The apartment is so comfortable, quiet & clean. You will not be disappointed. And we love the history of Savannah. Be sure to see the Mercer-Williams House.

The home was perfectly situated in the center of the district, which allowed us to conveniently access all the city has to offer. We didnt move the car until we drove out of town. It was clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable, not too soft or too firm, no sagging. There were only two of us but this home really could accommodate two couples or a family with a kid or two.

What a find, this one bedroom apartment has it all in a great location. Less than a minute to Forsyth Park and 10 minutes to the heart of downtown this apartment was a great place for my wife and me to stay while visiting our son at SCAD. We will certainly try to stay here again in the future.

The location is literally steps from beautiful Forsyth Park and many restaurants and shops. The decor is tastefully done with vintage and interesting pieces. We loved staying here and hope to visit again.

We loved our stay on Gaston Street, right on the corner of Forsythe Park. Savannah was a must see city and our accommodations couldn't have been better!

Beautiful, quaint, well-furnished and supplied historic unit. Spotlessly clean inside. The pretty courtyard could use a bit of cleaning up (dead leaves and cobwebs) but it was beautiful. This historic area of Savannah reminds me of stories of the old south…..beautiful old homes on streets lined with giant live oaks hanging with Spanish moss. I would visit again and stay in the same place without hesitation. J

We stayed at this great little home for a nice kid free weekend! Check in was super easy, the host responded quickly to the one question we had. We were able to find a parking spot on the street right in front of the property, and since it was a weekend, we stayed in the spot the whole time for free. There is quite a bit of space in the home and it was very comfy although we were not there most of the day! Forsyth park is very close, we walked to Collins Quarter for brunch both days and the food was delicious. It was about a 20 minute leisurely paced walk to the river front and city market. Really not bad at all if you're able to walk! The home is clean and quiet and we really enjoyed our weekend there!

As advertised = clean and roomy. The location was excellent; we loved being so close to the park for our dogs to walk. Also walking distance for many good restaurants. The bed was small for anyone used to a queen or king. Savannah is beautiful.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and great location, parking a little confusing for me anyway but it was actually very easy. Pay parking in front but maybe another 100 feet was free street parking. No steps besides the little 3 inch step at the door . During our stay the purple shuttle was free making a loop too downtown and the stop was a short walk. Clary’s was good for breakfast and lots of stuff is walking distance even downtown was okay walk and I need a knee replacement.
I definitely will stay here again if we come back to the area. Added for our visit was Clint Eastwood was filming a new movie and with a little research we drove by the set after breakfast but just seen fancy cars and fancy buses for the actor’s

I stayed here with my partner and small dog in June. It’s a gorgeous historic unit, very clean, nice furniture and well appointed. No doggy odors, no mold. We lacked for nothing. It’s steps from Forsyth Park where your pup can meet and greet the local canines and you can get your chai at a local shop. We walked into town, to the River front and back, past historic sites and homes and funky little shops. In the past we’ve used the hop on hop off trolley, but the weather was beautiful enough to make the trip on foot.
As two old ladies we felt safe in this neighborhood. There was a terrible storm one night. I was reassured that the home held strong since 1881, with no leaks.
It has a full size washer and dryer although we used our own detergent. The courtyard was a bonus where the dog could sniff and explore while I caught up on my reading under the unit’s covered sitting area.
Patricia was easy to deal with, coded door lock and easy check in/out. It was a seamless visit. I will certainly book again on my annual trip from FL to MA.

The property was what we expected. The location couldn’t be better with the park being just across the street. Check in and all dealings with the property manager couldn’t have been easier. The back patio needs some attention. It’s a bit dirty and unkept so we choose to not really use it. The upstairs neighbors front door is directly over the bedroom so we occasionally heard the their coming and going but it is wood floors and 150 year old house. Overall a most enjoyable stay, and would definitely consider renting again in the future.

From the minute we walked through the doors we fell in love. The garden apartment was well appointed, comfortable and just right for our trip. We stayed for 5 nights - we could have had more dishwashing soap for our DW - other than that P E R F E C T. We cooked a lot in this well appointed small kitchen - had all the right stuff.
