Great views from room. Pool was a big hit.

The place is on a hill which provides views and separation but access is limited to a steep trail or very expensive train. That wasn’t very clear when we rented.

Soffa in the living room is quite uncomfortable to sit on but it does look good :-)

Would be nice to have more Gornergrat trains stopping at the apartment. Maybe a stop on demand would be a good idea.

Large rooms, new and properly maintained.

Everything was basic. The rooms only had two beds and a shelf. No proper wardrobe exists in the entire apartment. There is no toaster and no microwave oven in the apartment. The locations can be accessed by train but the train only stops there a couple of times a day. The rest of the time you have to walk up the hill.

Apartment was great! Plenty of space, great amenities, pool/whirlpool facilities, host was superb! A train station from Zermatt Dorf right in front of the door (be aware it doesn‘t always stop at Legendär). Ideal for a group of friends looking to stay together for a couple days in Zermatt. We were there for a four day skiing trip and would absolutely recommend Legendär!

If you can‘t use the train to get home (e.g. too late at night, not coming from Zermatt Train Station or Gornergrat) it is a pretty steep walk up to Legendär.

Modern apartment with excellent amenities, they even provide cheese fondue pot and we really enjoy it so much. Train stop right at door.

The location. It's a steep hill climb to the apartment, not friendly accesible especially during winter with luggage unless you bought train ticket (ski pass possible) which we do not have, but we manage to get train ride when check out (which is easy for family with kids)

Great view, great value, good set up

It is not ski-to-door, you cannot finish your ski run at the hotel. You have to get down to Zermatt and either get one of the trains up (1 per hour) or walk up with your skis for 10 min (60 meters denivelation)

We didn’t like having to make our own beds up. I thought it might be a Swiss thing but everywhere else the bedding was already prepared prior to our arrival.

The apartment was exactly what was described. Equipped with everything you might need, with really nice views. We loved the indoor pool, all facilities are very good.

The location must be very good if you're visiting in ski season but we didn't like it for summer time. It's a very very steep walk uphill and it's a lot further from downtown Zermatt than we expected. The train frequency is not the best (not all trains stop at the hotel) and it's super expensive! We would definitely come back in winter time but not during the summer.

Amazing view of the Matterhorn from the living room. Apartment layout, walls and beds were great. There was also a play area for the kids which my son absolutely loved. Staff was wonderful as we were handed very clean apartments and Paula was quick to reply to any Queries we had.

I wish there were lifts or a better way to reach the apartments. Train was an alternate option but wasn't frequent.

Legendair is beautiful when you are there!!! While we were at the apartment everything was perfect. They do their best to inform you of the location, but it just doesnt really convey the difficulty of reaching the place if you are staying there more than 2 or 3 days. The train is truly the only way to get to the place comfortably after a long day/hike etc and the $ adds up quickly when you use it several times a day. Good place for 1 or 2 nights only... could say more, but want to keep it positive ❤️

Don't stay here unless you're young, in good shape & dont mind challenging train schedules. We really hoped to see Zermatt during the late evening, but unfortunately the last train to Legendair is 19:24 every day. Unfortunately we never saw it at night which was a big disappointment. Of course you can climb the long elevated trail/path to get there with out the train, but that was not enjoyable to us after a nice dinner or night out. Enjoy but beware.
