The location and the rooftop was incredible

Great location, a lot of space (apartment looks exactly like on the pictures), tarrase with beautiful view. . Comfortable living room. Beautiful lamps! So comfortable that it was hard to decide to go out and not spend nice lazy time in the apartment. Place is located next to restaurants, market, marina, cathedral, train station. Good place for somebody who likes party - live music and food until late hours (attention for these who prefer silence: can be noisy).

Minorities but can be relevant for others: Beds with light sheets for sleeping instead of quilts even I asked for it. (it's November and was cold at night). Available big sheets -1 per bed (not possible to get single blanket per person - hint for these who come as friends, can share bad but not necessary blanket. Even marriages prefer sometimes single quilts like im our case). Info for couples who come together and need intimacy - 2 bedrooms are located together (floor plus mezzanine). Could be more dishes (plates and cutlery) - all had to be cleaned to make breakfast for 5 people.

Fantastic location for enjoying Palermo old town, could hardly be better. Very convenient and easy check in along with the possibility to store the luggage after the check out in a special, locked compartment, free of charge . Easy contact with the owner. The apartment is of a high standard, all the promises delivered and the roof terrace makes it really a great place to stay. Just 1 suggestion to share : an additional key for the outer door to the building would be very much useful for groups of 4 or more people.

Amazing place. Views from all the rooms over the city. Terrasse with panoramic view of the city. The rooms and the furniture - beautifull design - and very comftable. A lovely place to stay.

The spacious apartment and roof top are beautiful and a fantastic base to visit Palermo! Pierpaolo is an amazing host, he was extremely quick to respond to all our queries and gave us lots of helpful advice for our trip!

Lovely apartment right in the heart of town. Lots of space and very comfortable. Dozens of good restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

If I was being really picky I would maybe suggest a new seating set-up on the upstairs (outdoor) terrace as the current one doesn't seem to work terribly well for 4 people. The terrace itself is simply fantastic with marvellous views in every direction. Folks should also be aware that being situated in the centre of town means that there is always going to be some noise from the streets downstairs.....didn't stop me sleeping like a baby tho!

Lovely spacious, unique apartment. The roof terrace was stunning with a 360 view of the city. The location was fantastic, right on a pedestrianised (mainly) street with a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops and within easy walking distance of the town centre.

The music from surrounding bars can be quite loud late a night at times.

Lots of big windows with views in every room. Apartment is big and bright with 2 separate bedrooms, living room and dinner room. Private terrace with amazing sunrise view. Another bonus is lift as apartment is in 4th floor.

There were street party so entire neighborhood can hear loud noise in the late evening.

Location excellent. Propriety owner AMAZING communications. Apartment way beyond expectations. Truly a wonderful place to stay!!

Shower drain in one bathroom a little funky but we adjusted (made it feel more like home! 🤣). A little street music into the wee hours - but not a deal breaker for any of the four adults in our party! 😊

The Casa Santa Sofia is magic! It has three huge bedrooms, one is in 3-side-windowed tower with an extraordinary 270° view over Palermo. The living room was huge with a big table and a big couch. The kitchen was well equipped (as we did not cook it was even far enough, but cooking is really easy there). Two kind of coffee machines (Mokka and Nespresso) were brilliant. The bathrooms were very good. The absolute highlight is the roof top with a brilliant view and enjoying the sun. Casa Santa Sofia is very stylish with great design and work by the host Pierpaolo. Pierpaolo is a superhost. Everything was planned, good informed and easy and fast communication! Thanks!

That is not a serious negative point but a funny one: The door at the street is only 1,5 m high, so it is not easy to enter. We saw a lot of doors in Palermo like that. But have no explanation so far ;-)

The design of the place is charming, and the location is perfect.

The apartment is fantastic! It is large and comfortable, has great views and has a perfect location within the city. A very good kitchen and an extremely comfortable living area. The top deck is spectacular. This apartment was a big reason we fell in love with Palermo, the markets and the people.

The only issue can be the sound from the market at night, there is a party atmosphere that can be heard.

There is a place near with music at nights. Although the apartment is on the fourth floor, the noise was noticeable.

Central location, old but very well maintained building/palazzo, spacious apartment with high ceilings and some inspiring ideas for own refurbishment of apartment. Complimentary beverages upon arrival were so perfect in our case so we could immediately enjoy the rooftop.

We stayed for two nights, Sat-Mon. Both nights young folks were partying outside in the street until very late. That was unfortunately very noisy. For sure until 5 AM on Sunday morning. So the great location is both a blessing and a curse. The entrance door to the building is extremely tiny, 1.5m in height.

The location is superbe. Quietly hidden behind a gate within a spatious building. Beautiful appt with great furniture, 3 bedrooms (!) With great beds , 2 marble bathrooms and lots of light. Great sitting area with Netflix on tv, nice for siesta... But the most spectacular thing is the balcony. Most beautiful private hidden space in Palermo! Also very helpful and friendly host! Easy parking in the neighbourhood. Had the most perfect aperitivo on the balcony!

I liked everything, the apartment is really special!! The building is placed in a very quiet area for the place it is (in the heart of Palermo), so you can sleep well through the night and be right in busy city Centrale once you step out. The terrace is amazing, I had good time there. Excellent!! I want to thank the host for bring the internet to us very fast (it was broken when I arrived), this made a lot of difference and made our stay even better through it was a rainy weekend. 10/10

Nothing to complain about.

The apartment was in an excellent location in the heart of the old town with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was very spacious with a quirky bedroom layout. The host is very helpful, spoke good English and went above and beyond to help us with transfers.

It would disappoint visitors if they are expecting 3 private bedrooms as one of them is on a mezzanine level - ideal for visitors with children.
