This property was amazing and fit our needs perfectly. The view was the best part. And the sound of the ocean... LOVE! Easy access to the beach and not a long drive, or Uber ride like we did, to anywhere. We will definitely stay here again!

The view is great! One bed is super comfortable. It did have everything we needed. The ice machine didn’t work, The Internet service is very poor in the whole building, And the door locked us out several times because it needed a maintenance call I did send a message to the owner and she ( responded quickly) said it might need a maintenance call, but I never heard back so several times we were left standing outside without our phones to even get into our room. The parking spot is very nice to have but It is in a spot where you can’t get out if you drive anything large like a truck. And then there is the elevators. We had to take the stairs a lot of times (The weight was horrendous sometimes ) and it was on the sixth floor so that equals eight flights of stairs, including the parking spots.
Most of these things cannot be controlled by the owners, but just the building itself. The check in process was easy. We even got to check in early. Overall, it was nice and we all had a good time

We had a wonderful week - no issues at all with our rental. Got to meet the owner, as she happened to be onsite- she was kind and friendly. Description of the rental was accurate. We greatly enjoyed our time.

The place was clean, with plenty of towels and cookware. Beds were comfy and the views amazing. We loved having frozen drinks/coffee on the balcony. Perfect size for our family of four! Hosts were responsive and helped remedy the only issue we had quickly. (Prior guests took the wristbands with them)

The property was right on the beach and very convenient to local restaurants. Just a few suggestions to make your stay more enjoyable: there are no beach towels, so bring your own. There were supposed to be enough bracelets for 7 people, but when we got to the condo there were only 2. You can purchase extras at the office. Bring toilet paper. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable; however, the utensils in the kitchen had to be washed before we could use them, and I had to mop the floor because my grandson's hands and feet got very dirty. Definitely rent the chairs and umbrella at the beach. Overall, the property served its purpose.

The complex was very nice, the condo was as stated, the owners easy to work with, the parking stall made for easy access. The beach was great, could occasionally see a dolphin from the deck. beds, mattress were comfortable, the linens were clean and fresh. Would stay here again!

The condo had was nice, but was missing some “extras”. For anyone who plans to cook while there, there isn’t much. Only 1or 2 pots, baking sheets were rusted. The condo could have been much cleaner. Floors were still dirty when we arrived, food still on some of the pots and pans. Multiple light bulbs were also out. We did not spend a lot of time in the condo, so it was just fine for us, however if you plan to spend a lot of time in it, you may need to bring some extra things along to make it more usable.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful few days away at the beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. We had a gorgeous view of the beach with direct beach access. We rented beach chairs and an umbrella right in front of the condo and had only a short walk from the building to our space on the beach. Our son also enjoyed the pool once he was done playing in the sand and waves. The designated covered parking spot was very nice. The condo was close to several restaurants and shops and we had no trouble getting in or out of the parking lot. We were close to The Hangout and enjoyed watching fireworks at the end of the music festival happening there from our balcony.

Location is perfect. 1 mile east of The Hangout (end of Alabama 59). Open the access gate and you're instantly on the beach and less than 150 yards from the water. Indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub is very nice and updated. Workout room is tiny and has outdated cable machine and zero free weights. Parking garage is nice but spots are very narrow so if you have a full size pickup, it's tight. The spots are deep, just not wide. Our condo was great for us on the 6th floor with an awesome view of the Gulf and bay. While it was listed as newely renovated, we disagree. It does have what appears to be new kitchen countertops and tile floor throughout. Shower water pressure was very good, AC worked flawlessly. Beds were comfy. Both sliding doors to balcony were ridiculously heavy to open. No toilet seat lid on master bathroom toilet. Unit could use a weekend of minor upgrades to really make it "pop" but it was clean, quiet and secure. Wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

The location of the condo on the beach overlooking the gulf was beautiful. The condo itself needs updating. Needs some painting on walls, trim boards etc. Cooking pans in the drawer of the oven are full of rust. Washing machine was broken and they did put in a new one. Beds were very comfortable, furniture in the living room was very worn and needs to be replaced.

This place had the most beautiful view, but that was the only positive aspect. The place was very dirty. My 1 year old had black hands/feet/knees from the floor. He picked up 2 pacifiers that belonged to whoever stayed before us. We found underwear that didn’t belong to us under the bed. The outside light didn’t work & the washing machine was difficult to operate. It was a pretty disgusting stay overall. I reached out to the owner and it took over a week for a response. I was offered a partial refund (which I didn’t receive until a couple of weeks later because of the lack of response) and it was only $64. The view is wonderful, but not worth the filth you stay in.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, comfortable beds, the view from the balcony was great. We had unobstructed view of ocean and great location for sunrise and sunset viewing. Condo had some small issues, one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, dirty dishes in cupboards, one packet of dishwasher soap, needs repainting, biggest issue was sliding doors to balcony not working properly, the one from the bedroom was so bad we couldn't use it.

We love coming to Gulf Shores, and we love Crystal Shores West. This was our first trip to this particular room, and we would definitely come back. We had an issue with the toilet leaking, and it was fixed within hours. We love the location of this building and the easy beach access.

It was just what we needed for a getaway for 4. Beds were very comfortable, great view from the balcony, located close to lots of restaurants and activities. AC and fridge could have been a little colder but overall very pleased.

We had a great time. Condo was really nice. Only thing I would suggest is needs to be cleaned better. Quilts were stained and main thing is to clean underneath the sink where you find fish dish drainer. It was very dirty. We still enjoyed every minute there and the owners are very sweet and helpful.

-Refrigerator needs maintenance. Was told it was repaired since last review. Very loud knocking sounds. All hours.

-floor was filthy. Yet brooms and mop left for use were also filthy.

Not maintained and no communication!
We contacted the owner several times duringour stay to inform them of broken item, clogged sinks and other things that had clearly not been well maintained. I did this for two reasons, one so my family would not be blammed and billed and in case they were not local and were not aware. They literally just ignored us. I sent a total of three emails, the third regaring a pair of brand new Burkinstocks that were left in their property and we literally heard no response from them. This is the first property I have ever had to pay 100% of fees at booking and once they got our money, there was zero communication.

Great Condo but lacked major essential
Check in process was easy and the condo for the most part was as advertised. The major issue our family faced was that staying for an entire week we were expecting to rely on and utilize the fridge and kitchen for 1-2 meals a day. There was no working fridge/freezer and after attempting to communicate this we were told it was a known issue and why a mini fridge was added into the condo. We felt this should have been communicated to us ahead of our stay so we could prepare or fixed and replaced ASAP. We had no ice and no ability to stock up on food for the week to make meals for us or our kids. There were a few missing light bulbs thoughout the condo which wasnt a deal breaker just odd to not have the best lighting in certain places. We did experience a minor leak from the humidifier drain hose and a service/repair man came and fixed this the same day we found it so that response and service was very much appreciated. Overall though the space itself was good and as expected, the elevators were fixed ahead of our stay which was nice because with how busy of a week it was we still sometimes waited 10-20 mins to catch an elevator during peak times of the day.
