Loved the stay at the place, owners were awesome. Would recommend.

Overall, me and my friends had a blast staying here. The showers are nice, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has a nice vibe to it, the Casita is very nice with a restroom and shower with outside access. The pool is big enough for 10 of us to fit and relax for the night. The beach is a little walk, less than 5m, maybe even 3m. Would recommend if you have kids, they would have fun there. Would definitely come back again!

It was wonderful of course in warm climate. Loves palm trees, pool, hot tub, casita, tiki hut. Dayna was friendly and helpful. Only part i didnt care for was finding out I owned more tax on the place. It should be up-front. Overall joyful time with my family. Thanks to Dayna.

This property lives up to its description! The house is clean and comfortable, all the furnishings, appliances and utensils are good quality (loved the many sharp knives).
The yard is amazing, with a nice pool and hot-tub, lots of comfortable chairs, 2 bbq's, etc. The yard is large but very private with lots of space. It also has a large playground area with lots of stuff for families with kids.
Dayna and Jimmy are great hosts, very friendly and quick to respond to address any issues (broken coffee pot replaced within a couple hours).
We would certainly stay here again!

We had an amazing time staying here. The property was great for our big family. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor areas as well. Communication with the owner was good, she responded to messages in a timely manner. Walking distance to the beach, very convenient. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Great experience all the way around. Wife and 4 kids, everyone was happy with the stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend it for anyone with with a bigger group.

Overall rating of 3 stars because:
1- in the of our stay an email was received billing us for extra money for some issues with taxes not billed before. First time I have this experience to get additional bill in the middle of our vacation.
2- property require additional maintenance to consider it as a good property. Several maintenance issues around the house even with the pool.
3- lack of full privacy, people went inside backyard and house, cleaning people enter without notice in advance.
4- written instruction could facilitate our life, we could find out how to turn on light on some areas as example.
Positive points:
A) nice location,
B) good neighbors,
C) backyard confortable (only if the whole property is for you, otherwise other costumer rent a portion of the property this positive point become an unfit snow one).
I suggest to segregate a fix amount of every rent to improve preventive maintenance and also to change the cleaning company.

This was the perfect place to stay for our wedding. There was plenty of room for evw2 ro gather and celebrate. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back in the future!

We had 3 families staying in the house and utilized every available bed, including the sofa bed. Parking was great, we had 3 vehicles and nobody had to park on the street. We cooked every day in the well stocked kitchen and utilized the charcoal grill for dinner in the evening. I loved that there are 2 washers and dryers, as it made washing/drying wet suits and towels quicker. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub, they were used every day. The play area with the trampoline was nice for the kids as well. The house is located less than a block from a gift shop and liquor store, which is convenient if needed. It is a 5 minute or less walk to the beach access point at the end of the street. We all had a blast at the beach and loved the convenience of being able to just load up the wagon and go. Communication with the owner was great, she was very quick to respond. The only minor issue I had was staying in the casita. I would definitely book this house for another trip to South Padre Island.

We had a group of 10+ people and needed our own space and this was the perfect spot! There was so much room for everyone to spread out throughout the yard and pool areas. The house was extremely nice and had everything we needed. Dayna was great at communicating with me the whole time and was super quick to answer when I had questions. I would definitely book here again if I every go back to SPI thanks again Dayna!

We had an amazing stay in South Padre any problems were taken care of right away and were very small they are trying to improve the property and most issues were related to the updates . Loved everything and would stay here again! Thanks for everything Dayna and Jimmy!

Plenty of room for 8 adults and conveniently located close to the beach and restaurants/bars. Don’t be surprised (like I was) that you are renting the bottom half of a two story home. The owner was very accommodating, though. We had a great stay.

Family memories
This rental was such a beautiful home to enjoy and make memories in! From the side garden area we had the perfect view of the fireworks! It isnt too far from the beach but definitely take a wagon or something so you dont have to carry all your items if you have alot since there is maybe a 5 min walk.. maybe 3 if you are a super fast walker

Location location location
Location is perfect near center of town and less than a block to beach. Privacy was wonderful hosts were very nice and responsive to all questions and requests. This is not a beachy house but more like a home which we found to be warm and inviting. It is an older home but most of it has been remodeled The pool and yard were wonderful There are so many separate areas for conversation for 1 or 2 or for everyone to get together. We will definitely try to come back

SPI FAMILY TRIP
Renting the property itself is easy, but the listing is very misleading in my opinion. It states 4 bedroom main home with adjacent casita. To me that’s misleading it’s actually only a 3 bedroom MAIN HOME if you rent the casita it becomes 4 bedrooms
So when you book just know it’s a 3 bedroom main home and if you add the casita then it becomes 4.
If you look at all the pics it actually shows 5 different rooms just look at the backgrounds and you will see there’s 5 rooms . Which is not the case you are only getting the ground floor with 3 rooms
THE OWNERS LIVE UPSTAIRS, they will lie and say they happen to be in town that week or weekend but THEY LIVE UPSTAIRS, super uncomfortable feeling, like your being watched all day. Just an FYI

Family Getaway
Dayna was AMAZING! Excellent communication and local advice. We felt like the house and Casita were our own private oasis just a block from the beach. Perfect for our family vacation and can’t wait to come back!

Three Families, Two Roofs, and One Awesome Getwaway
Our three families enjoyed our stay at this beach house. We occupied the lower level of the main house and the one-room casita; it was perfect for the 8 of us. The living areas and pool were clean and spacious, and although some things could be updated, we were pleased with the amenities.
More importantly, the proximity to the beach is hard to argue with. It’s a two-minute walk to the ocean (one minute to the sand), and there’s plenty of parking for the guests—we had four vehicles in our group. The owners were understanding and flexible with our questions and requests, and they responded quickly.
If the opportunity arises, we will definitely stay here again.

Awesome place for a large group!
My friends and I had an epic vacation on this property! The property is beautiful with lots of room. The outdoor areas, including the pool make it a a fantastic area to just hang out and enjoy each other’s company. The proximity to the beach is the greatest asset this property has; a short walk and you are enjoying a pristine beach. There is no doubt that we would all come back to this property as the host was simply gracious and kind. Highly recommend!!

The house is great. Beach towels and pool floats are already there. Super clean. Lots of kitchen utensils. Quiet neighborhood and just a walk to the beach.

Our stay was great. The house was perfect for our family vacation. The pool was perfect after the beach and in the evenings. The host communicated quickly and was very helpful in every aspect. Definitely will return here!!!

Spring getaway
My family stayed at this beautiful house for an extended weekend and loved it! Lots of space, great kitchen and outdoor area. We had our family over one night for a cookout and it was wonderful. Hot tub and pool space is incredible and so relaxing!

The pictures need to be updated on website as there are a few things not there. it was pretty much what we had expected. We were unable to use the sandbox in the playground, it was full of weeds and grass but other than that the yard was great. The house was wonderful probably needs a little upkeep as several the door hinges fell off but luckily we have a handyman in the family and he was able to fix them all

Spring Breakers
As college spring breakers we were looking for a spot where 10+ of us could stay together with a big yard and pool. This place fulfilled all of our needs as it was basically right next to the beach and walking distance from bars. The host was great to communicate with and very accommodating. Respect the property and rules and you will not have a problem.

Just Right
Perfect for families with multiple age ranges or multiple couples. Make sure you book the Hacienda and the Casita. The private pool, outdoor areas and hot tub are a big plus. Host was great. Property needs a little maintenance. Location is spot on. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect setting for all purposes and all ages
The house was located centrally to everything on the island…if you wanted to leave the house that is. The house has a playground, trampolines, a sandbox and a pool! Literally a little piece of paradise for everyone

Amazing Get away
We had 5 adults, 2 teens and a toddler at the house. Sleeping accommodations were great and the casita was an added benefit four our friend and her son to stay in. Pool and backyard area are huge and a wonderful place to relax. Owners were great to communicate with and very responsive to a few questions we had.

Great spot in SPI
Great house close to the beach and with a pool and amazing yard. Stayed here with extended family and there was room for us all and we enjoyed the stay. The owner was great with answering questions and solving a couple of issues that popped up. Overall a great experience.

Wedding Vacation
This was the perfect place for my friends and family from Minnesota to celebrate us getting married in South Padre. Dayna was very responsive in our messaging back and forth regarding questions I had, one of them being about the WiFi there. Wasn’t the greatest but that’s not what we were there for anyways. I was very great full that she let me know ahead of time to walk the property before letting our German Shepard loose on the property. Some of the boards on the fence were gone and our Max could fit through so we made sure to be out there with him when we let him out. The washer and dryer to the left don’t work. The washer has an out of order sign on it but not the dryer. I didn’t know until we tried it a couple of times first. The washer and dryer on the right work. I did forget our tide and bounce so whoever stays there next is welcome to using it. We loved the pool, hot tub and the space of the property.

Beach getaway!
Went on a family vacation and it was beautiful the house was perfect and located perfectly from everything! We will definitely be back! The owners were so nice and so easy to work with! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing family vacation!
