We had an excellent stay at this property. The three king size bedrooms with their own bathroom provided nice privacy for the adults in our group. Great location, within walking distance of grocery store and beach. Ten out of ten for our large group!

The property was nice except for all the stairs, but with a three story house, they were no surprise. The house seemed pretty clean. The top floor master bathtub had what looked like potting soil in it. The pool table needed sweeping off. Other than those small things the house was in good condition. I mentioned them, because when you see a little dirt, it makes you wonder how clean the house really is... We enjoyed our stay and the short walk to the beach. Thank you for offering this house.

It's hard to find 4 king bedrooms and so many bathrooms to accommodate our crowd and this place does the trick. Lots of kid and dog friendly decks too that don't open to the outside, so no runaways. We hung out by the grill area this year because there is a little sandy spot next to it with plenty of beach chairs right inside, like a personal beach. Walked to Red Drum in 1 minute. This cottage checks lots of boxes. Will go back.

We had a beautiful time. The rental property was great & it accommodated our crowd perfectly for our destination Holiday trip. We had plenty privacy for our alone time and plenty room to enjoy family during our family activities. The home was beautiful and I don’t think the online photos we saw with the floral bedding & dated furnishings did it justice. It looked much better in person. Ben was a wonderful host, he was available to answer questions and even shared his streaming platforms which I did not expect. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Came down for seafood festival and weekend getaway. The property....the location....the owner...the weekend was great!!!

This house has a great location because it is very convenient to a lot of different things. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice having a fridge downstairs in the basement for cold beverages either while playing a game of pool or relaxing in the pool or hot tub.

We really enjoyed this property that we booked through Ben! We walked to the beach a few days because it was that close! The only negative we had (and it’s not bad at all) is that the kitchen is on the top floor. Other than that our stay here was amazing!!!

This house fits our needs perfectly! There were many levels to the house, which each family took a level and had their own privacy. Loved the open concept for the kitchen, dining, and family room. Large space it accommodated our family of 7 adults and 3 children 2 and under perfectly. The kitchen is stacked with everything you need. Great fast communication between the renter and us. Great location everything you need within walking distance.

We had a great time while staying at Ben’s property. The house is spacious and we loved that there were already dishes, pans, etc. we were a bit disappointed by the quality of the cleaning between the last guest’s departure and our arrival. We also found that the access to the beach was not stroller friendly and we had to drive down the road to be able to enter the beach. Other then that, we had no complaints. Ben had streaming services available, fresh towels and linens and even beach towels and umbrellas available. We would consider staying again.

We had a great week! The house is big and roomy with plenty of space for our family! The pool and hot tub are awesome and the beach is beautiful. Everything was exactly as described and the owner was very responsive and helpful with restaurant and coffee shop suggestions! Highly recommend!

This house was wonderful for our family. Walking distance to beach access and near many stores and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was very well stocked with items! There were a lot of movies, games and books, we even left a few of our own behind to share with future guests. The owner was very accommodating and super responsive during our stay.

Our family had a good week in nags head even though weather wasn’t the best. Size and location of house worked great for us. Beach, stores, park and restaurants were all within walking distance or a short drive. It is always a plus having the pool and hot tub to use also. House needs a little updating especially a few of the beds were not very comfortable but all in all house worked great

House was very clean. Location was great. Quiet street. All nine of us enjoyed the house.

We had a great time! The house had everything an extended family ranging from little ones to teens needs, from crib and pack and play to pool table downstairs. There were more than enough beds for our group and room for folks to both be together and spread out. We really appreciated the long table in the dining area, which allowed us all to eat together. The beach is really a very short walk away.

Everything went well.

We had our family and friends staying for 4 days. One thing we didn't think about were the stairs, we had older family members that struggled with them. Otherwise the stay was good and the house was nice. The owner is very nice and responsive to your needs.

The house was big enough for our party of 11 and close to everything and beach access points. It does state that it has 3 master bathrooms, however the full bathroom on the bottom level is not connected to a bedroom so I wouldn’t classify that as master bath. For us, we specifically wanted three master baths, so it was a bit disappointing but if you aren’t looking for that specifically, it is more than adequate. For the price, it was a good deal and we had a great time.

Thank you so much for letting us check in a day early….. This house has everything down to the beach towels!!! One block away from beach! If you have a baby they have highchairs, crib and playpen… Thank you so much Ben!! Can’t wait until next year to book again……

House was fine for our short stay. We had one maintenance issue which was resolved quickly. Jim was great!!

Great house, plenty of room, nice pool! Close to beach. It had everything we needed!

Our extended family is basically three families so the three story house layout was perfect. Everything was clean and exactly as described in VRBO. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs and toys. The pool is a good size and very well maintained. The five minute walk to the beach was easy - even with the baby in the wagon. We had a wonderful vacation and would love to stay again.

Great spot, close to the beach and many restaurants, grocery store, etc. Kids loved the pool!

If you have kids, this place is for you. The pool and hot tub are awesome. The beach is super close and the ice cream shop is a short walk around the corner. Highly recommended for any Family vacation.

This house was perfect for our large family. It’s very close to the beach and the pool and hot tub were fantastic.

We rented the property as a group of high school girl friends (ages 50+) getting together for a wedding at the Sea Ranch. We loved that there were 7 bedrooms so everyone could have their own room. There was limited seating around the pool - only 3 plastic adirondak chairs and one regular height small round table. (note to bring your own chairs for the pool) and the picnic table on the 3rd deck by the kitchen was extremely splintery and as such, we did not use the space. We spent 3 full days soaking in the sun, floating in the pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. It was extremely enjoyable. The stairs in the unit were challenging at times as we are all over 50 years old and not in the greatest of shape. One master bedroom, living and kitchen are located on the 3rd floor; 1 master and 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, and 2 bedrooms on the first. Be prepared for many stairs all the time. We didn't find the time to enjoy playing billiards or cornhole, though it would have been nice. Other than the seating and stairs, the house was lovely and we hope to rent it again if we are in Nags Head again. Thank you!!

The Beach Bum Inn was really a great place for our family’s recent vacation. The house is so spacious - with plenty of room for our group of 9 brothers and sisters ! Unfortunately, a Nor’Eastern blew thru the Outer Banks the week we stayed but there was so much space in the house that we never felt crowded . The house is only a short walk to the beach and grocery. It’s mid-Island so it was a great location to base our daily events from with minimal commute time. We will definitely be back and hopeful that the next next the weather will be better and we can use ALL the facilities around the house (pool, hot tub and plenty of deck space)!

Upon arrival, we weren’t sure if the weather was going to cooperate, but it turned out to be a beautiful weekend! The BBI was very clean and VERY spacious. There were pack n plays as well as high chairs and gates provided. The pool and the hot tub were spotless, the hammock, a great baby napping spot and it was centrally locates to grocery stores and shopping; you could walk to all!

The house was more than we expected. The amount of bedrooms and king size beds was beyond accommodating! The layout of the pool table downstairs and living room/kitchen upstairs allowed our 8 guests to mingle together or apart. A truly relaxing gem!
