Studio St Jean è un monolocale al piano terra per un MASSIMO DI 2 persone in un edificio di 400 anni nel cuore della città medievale di Bayeux.
Questo è un luogo perfetto per chiunque abbia prenotato un tour del D-Day sulle spiagge della Normandia o un servizio di bus navetta per Mont St Michel, dato che tutti i tour partono da Place de Quebec, che dista meno di 2 minuti dall'appartamento.

This accommodation proved to be excellent for us: we planned on a lot of touring and walking and we were able to accomplish both easily. The room is an ideal size with modern appliances and sufficient closet and cupboard space. Very pleased!!

Beautiful apartment, fun location close to everything in Bayeux. Within walking distance to museums, the Cathedral, a laundromat, and many restaurants. Grocery store a few doors down had everything we needed. The street is busy with foot traffic and nearby restaurants, but we had no problem with noise in the apartment, it was very quiet. We found free street parking within a walking distance and that was more convenient for us than the pay lots. Host met us at check in and gave us instructions about the water heater and other features. Truly a fabulous apartment and location!

We were a tad late arriving, and our host was wonderful about making sure that we arrived safely and had what we needed. The apartment was easily accessible, and a great location for restaurants and activity. We could walk to the cathedral and the tapestry museum easily. Parking was difficult because we were there during the D-Day 80th anniversary so I can't blame that on our host or our apartment. I would definitely stay at this location again if we ever return to Bayeux.

The ground floor studio apartment was perfect for my husband and me. It was located in the middle of town, next to a grocery store and many restaurants, etc. It was also very handy to the pick up site for the various tour groups in town. Although it was located in the middle of town, it was so quiet. We would definitely stay here again if ever back in Bayeux.

Sally and Mike were helpful and excellent about communicating with us. They showed us around the apartment which was tasteful and exactly as described. The location couldn’t have been better in downtown Bayeux! We walked everywhere. This apartment is perfect for a couple. Charming with a small kitchen. We didn’t cook dinner but sometimes had breakfast and sometimes lunch in it.

I am so glad I found Sally’s place because it was absolutely perfect for us. We loved having a location in such a lively area. Sally answered several questions ahead of time to help us prepare for our trip and had useful information available in the studio. And the bed…so large and comfortable!

We were here for three nights.This place was immaculate. It was a great location, right in the center of shopping and restaurants and steps from our Omaha Beach pick-up point. There is a grocery store steps from the front door. In a stone building and facing a courtyard, it was quiet even though there was lots of activity outside on the street. We had taken the train from Paris and walked to the unit from the train station.

If you’re planning on visiting the Normandy, battle grounds, or Mont Saint Michel you couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The apartment is immaculate and such a cozy spot to stay. The showers have hot, hot, running water. The windows being opened up, bright and cheery, and the air conditioning works fabulously, owners hospitality was well noted and we will come back. Hopefully soon, the town of Bayeux is so fun. There’s so many places to eat and stroll. The tapestry and the cathedral are absolutely beautiful and the town is clean and friendly. thank you!!

Great studio right on the Main Street for restaurants in Bayeaux. Short walk to laundromat and the tour pick ups if you need.
Car park is a short walk and studio has all that 2 people would need. Bed is comfy and large.
Street noise is very minimal even given the location. Sally was readily contactable.

This apartment in a very old building was very updated and modern. The location was ideal in this beautiful medieval town. It was very clean,comfortable and quiet. We could walk to everything and a had a picnic in the enclosed stone courtyard. Highly recommend it. We had a private tour of Normandy that was excellent. Cute, updated apartment. Ground level. Quiet. Fully furnished. Very comfortable bed. Sally welcomed us as we arrived and introduced us to the apartment. And that was it. Wonderful and pleasant after the days’ travel from the hustle and bustle of Paris. (Note that we had no car and do not know about any parking situation.)
The best part? Location! We found ourselves in the middle of the very quaint restaurant and shopping area of Bayeux.
You might think, “Oh the noise and busyness.” No. This old Europe town was untouched by WWII. The street is a walking street. You are 3 minutes walk from most everything (restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, shops and tours). The abbey, park and tapestry are less than 10 minutes.
All of that from where you enter the outer door from the street. A few steps later, you enter the apartment. Outside is not noisy anyway but then the apartment is completely quiet.
Nice! Would definitely do again.

The studio is conveniently located to shops, restaurants and a full grocery store. Everything is within walking distance, including the tour pick up location. Like the other reviews state, the studio is very quiet, despite being on a busy street. You could probably even walk from the train station, Assuming you don’t have a lot of luggage.

Bayeux is the coolest little village in France! I just loved it. This apartment is literally right in the center of town and easy access to everything. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable. Getting in tough with Susan was very simple and she was extremely helpful. If you want to go to the D-Day beaches and see the tapestry then you will love this place!

Sally’s place was so quaint and lovely. The perfect size for 2 people to stay for several days in Bayeux. It has everything you could possibly need. The best part is how central it is to everything in Bayeux … cathedral , Bayeux tapestry , grocery , shopping , restaurants , the Saturday market , excursion pick up … it cannot be beat! This apartment is perfectly located for access to restaurants, shopping, tour bus pick up, taxis, museums, and the tourism office! Sally was always responsive when I had questions. The Studio was spacious with a kitchen that was perfectly stocked.
The Host Sally was very easy to communicate with through VRBO. Unfortunately we were not able to meet her as she had car problems when we arrived and again when we departed.

Seclusion in the heart of Bayeux
This small apartment is perfect for a short stay in Normandy. Situated behind thick stone walls off a charming street, it’s cozy & quiet. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty courtyard and reflecting on the day. We did an Overlord tour, & the van picked up very close by. The apartment is insanely convenient to just about anything you need or want, including a tidy grocery & boutique chocolatier. We highly recommend this place for its location, cleanliness, & owners’ quick availability to answer questions.

Had wonderful experience visiting the Normandy area staying in this apartment. Perfect place for restaurant dining and as a jumping off point for catching any tours. Walking distance to tour vans and sites within Bayeux.

Wonderful in every way
I stayed at this lovely apartment for a few days in April and it was absolutely perfect! The location can't be beat... right in the center of town where you can walk to everything. There are many great restaurants and shops just a few steps away and a grocery store right next door. I also had no trouble parking the rental car after day trips around Normandy.
Sally was great at communicating with me all the information we needed and was available to answer any questions that came up during my stay. The apartment was stocked with everything I needed, including pots and pans for cooking and a hairdryer.
This was definitely one of the best vacation rentals I have ever had. Bayeux was a wonderful town to visit and this apartment cannot be beat.

Anniversary vacation 4 night stay in Sept 2021
We thought the Studio was outstanding! Well kept and in good repair. Michael picked us up at the train station and drove is to the Studio. He showed us all the features and the two doors for entry. The Room was a sudden bit of quiet on a busy day. Pots and Pans with plenty of cooking utensils were available. WiFi was solid when ever we were in the room checking emails. We did not use the TV but the big screen was mounted on the wall with a swivel so you could watch it from the bed. The Studio is less than 50 feet to one of the best restaurants in Bayeux. The grocery store was two doors to the left as you leave the building and the Laundromat was less than two blocks away. The Cathedral, the Famous Bayeux Tapestry, and the Museum of Art and History were about a five minute walk.
The only problem was that we could not stay longer. We look forward to returning to our new home away from home.

Centre of D-Day in a great location.
We found this property to be a perfect location on the Main Street in the centre of town. We were met by he Owner and had a quick tour. It is very cute, comfortable and well equipped. There are lots of shops and restaurants within a very short distance. Bayeux is very walkable and has lots to see. The tourist bureau is a hundred metres up the street and has a lot of information available.. We had a great stay,

Incredible location
This is honestly the best place for a couple to stay in Bayeaux. You are right downtown and close to everything while being in a quiet oasis away from all street noise. Owners were kind enough to pick us up from the train and show us to the property. It was clean and cute.

Nightmare Check In
We had trouble finding the studio as the road was closed and we were not given instructions on how to access it, the owner was not at the studio when we arrived and we had to drive around to find her private home (which does not have an address to put into Google) to pick up the keys, and she was very rude, insinuating it was our fault. Normandy and Mont St. Michel were not nearby. Be sure to bring your own toiletries, nothing supplied.

The only thing to remember when travelling throughout France is a lot of shops open around 10am and some shops close for lunch. Some shops aren’t open on a sunday., and some close halfday on a saturday. I’d suggest planning your trip around this, as if in a self contained apartment you may find the little supermarket a couple of doors up closed...so no food😳�
