Nice quiet neighborhood, plenty of room for our family of 8 , A/C in all bedrooms was great, great outdoor space, kitchen could be better stocked larger pans, more storage serving bowls ect. Nice washer/dryer, with water so low a 20 minute drive to put boat in water, use google to get there other ones don’t get you there, overall great place would stay again

We had a great stay July of 2023, the size of the property was perfect for our group of 3 couples and our son. The property while dated and in need of some maintenance had everything our group needed for a comfortable stay! The host was great to communicate with, and we loved the grill, fire pit and large lawn. Not sure when the listing photos were taken, but it made it seem like there would be visible water from the back yard, or even some beach area right behind the house. This was not the case- in fact there was no water visible (just foliage) and a well worn path that atv’s used to access the beach about a mile down the shore line. Again not bad to pack up and drive less than five minutes to a great little beach spot- just not quite the access that the photos and description made it appear as- even with higher reservoir levels it seems that it has been some years since the water level has been high enough to come up behind the property. Our group would definitely consider staying here again- just maybe a bit better prepared for hauling stuff to and from the beach next time.

Everyone had an amazing time, weather was great, lake was refreshing. It was nice to have a home to relax in when we were done at the lake. Lake was very low so the picture might need updating since it is so low. Renee had mentioned it was extremely low but I didn’t realize it was that low! I hadn’t been there in 15 years or so. The property back yard was great, the rooms were a plenty. Not sure if Renee knew that the dishwasher was leaking and we didn’t get to use it but all worked out. Would have loved to have met Renee on this trip but maybe some other time? Thank you for allowing us to use your place! ❤️ Jerri

There is no small sandy beach at low water or lake right up to the yard at high water. The lake is at least mile away. The back yard is nice and there is a fire pit and grill. We did have to really scrub the grill before we could use it. The house was not clean, animal hair everywhere including in some of the beds, some of the bedding was dirty, etc.

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend and had a blast. My younger kids had a great time exploring behind the house for toads while my older kids enjoyed the quiet surroundings. They all loved the firepit for smores on our last night. There was plenty of space for all seven of us. If we come back to Lake Mac again, we'll definitely look to stay again.

The house provided our basic needs. Considering location, it was comfortable. We were aware the water level was down but the distance from the house way too far considering we rented in expectations of at least being able to see the lake. That was disappointing but we still had a nice family visit.

We had 5 adults and 2 littles...plenty of room for everyone to kick back and relax. A couple of snags when we got there with the grill and the fridge but Renee was on top of things and corrected right away. If you are planning on doing a lot of grilling/cooking you may want to verify the utensil, storage, and mixing bowl situation to make sure it will accommodate what you are planning. The yard is huge and a great place to set up practice golf, yard tag, and games.

This property was truly amazing. It had everything we needed, lots of hangout space, room for everyone and this incredible outdoor space that I will always remember my kids playing in! Renee was everything you’d want in a host, right there to fix any problems, super nice and welcoming. I want to go back already!! Thank you Renee!!!!

Very disappointed that it had no water. Also it was to from Ogallala, very misleading. Will not go back.

Wonderful as always. The house is large enough that everyone has their own space. The view is great, back patio and fire pit is awesome.

Everyone had their space and it was adequate even for 5 families with our 8 grandchildren and dogs. Yard was great for kickball games, except for a couple sticker patches we marked out. It was a great fit. Sadly the water wasn’t visible, but we expected that with the dry season and near the end of the season. We had a great time! Pictures showed older lawn furniture so we drug chairs along , but wouldn’t have needed too, as it had nicer furniture than the picture. Take your own Kleenex though and more toilet paper if you have a big group like we did.

What a neat house! Great spacious bedrooms and no arguments over who got what room 😊. The kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed it!!

This house was perfect for a group get away. 5 bedrooms have everyone their own space plus 2 livening rooms help give space when people needed a quiet place to be other than their room. The back Yard was huge (my dogs were in Heaven), fire pit with wood was nice for the evening and s’mores! We had a few unforeseen hiccups but Renee respond in record time and took care of everything. She is so responsive that we didn’t even mind the hiccups! Water if the lake was extremely low this year so we just went down a little further to get to the water still so beautiful! Would highly recommend we will continue to make our yearly trip!!

This was a wonderful home for our three night stay. The back yard is stunning, we used the grill and fire pit in the evenings. The house is huge, and had all the amenities we needed. We spent the days at the beach, was nice to have a place to come home to. Would highly recommend!

Very nice house that fit our needs well to have space to relax in the evenings after a full day on the lake. Renee was friendly and helpful. I would recommend checking lights though as almost all rooms had at least one lamp that did not work. The plastic chairs on the deck are not the safest as the caught on the concrete and thr legs would bend rather than move, so we had a couple near misses and one chair actually snapped a back leg off, so one person fell into the fire put, thankfully no fire was going. There were no injuries, but just as an FYI, those chairs just weren't that great on the rough concrete. Really great location, though, and had all the amenities we needed. Thank you!

Plenty of space and great location. The area was quiet and lots of things to do. I highly recommed this property.

The property was exactly as described. Only a 12 minute drive to the Lake McConaughy beach.

Main floor bathroom shower needs a good cleaning. Outdoor lights and bug zappers did not work in backyard. Sliding glass door locks are difficult to close or don’t work. Property needs basic updating.

It would be good if they paid a little attention to house cleaning with doors door knobs light switches otherwise it was very comfortable and exactly what we needed for our reunion

Easy to locate, wonderful instructions from the property manager concerning the property, expectations and area opportunities. Well maintained 5 bedroom house with a beautiful lawn where the children could run without concern of traffic. The bedrooms were large, beds comfortable, nice sheets and bedding, enough pillows tool. Two spacious bathrooms with showers or a tub. Kitchen has all the tools you need, plus appliances in good working order. They also had a functional area for the washer and dryer. In the evening the adults enjoyed sitting on back patio around the table looking out at the lake. We were very pleased with our experience. Thank You!

This property had a vast amount of room inside and outside the place. It has a good view and nice fire pit. Each room had its own climate control. Overall a decent experience.

Wonderful!

This house is so comfortable and charming. Two family rooms, large patio with grill and fire pit. It was clean and cool. Easy to check in. Little marina bar and grill within a little walking distance. All the comforts you need. Lake was down a bit but within eyesight of backyard. The kids had a blast. We did drive to the swimming beach. Neighbors to the East were so wonderful. People there are nice and so helpful.

The property manager was very responsive to all our questions before we stayed. In addition she ran over extra supplies within 10 minutes of telling her of our need. Great backyard for kids to run and enjoy. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Very nice to have Individually controlled bedroom air conditioners. Great experience.

Amazing. We loved the house. Right on water and close to everything. Great yard with firepit for smores. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Even had a dog kennel in yard:). Super easy check in. Can’t wait to come back next year

We all had a great time the place had 20 room it was clean lot of fun the backyard was nice of you to the lake everything was amazing and the house were also great and even the neighbors were super nice all in all I would recommend this to any group of friends or family that need a bunch of space and won't access directly to the lake.

Property was what we expected for price and fit our family well. Only complaint we had was we had no working grill and we had based our dinners to be grilled. Owners were apologetic.
