We have vacationed in Surfside since the late 70’s but had not been in several years and decided to return tjis yesr. Sunset was a good choice - enough rooms for the 11 of us, close to the beach and a pool. We enjoyec sharing meals in the house and at several restaurants close to the pier. Morning walks and evening pickle ball for relaxing exervise. We all enjoyef our time togetger at Sunset.

Our family of 6 adults and 3 kids in the 6 bedrooms was spacious for us. Perfect location for walking to the beach, rented a golf cart easy way to get to dining and shops. Pool was great for taking a day break from the beach. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Check in /out was easy We all had a great vacation Would definitely stay there again

We enjoyed the house very much! Short walk to the beach. Centrally located around lots of things to do and places to eat. The pool was awesome! The owners were easy to keep in contact with. Would definitely stay in this house again!

This is a great house for my family. Plenty of room for the grands. Great pool area. Easy commute to the beach and beach area was large and very nice. Will definitely be staying there again next year.

Full disclosure. Owner charged us additional $150 for pet hair on furniture and bed spreads being left on the floor in a few rooms. We are not in agreement with the additional charge but that aside here is an honest assessment. First we were made to wait well past the 4 pm check in as the cleaning crew was still there. We found the property to be dated. There was a soft spot in the floor inside the entry door that felt like a trampoline. There was a broken towel rack in a bathroom which we notified the owner of and they informed us that someone would call to come and fix it. We never received a call. We also had an ant infestation in the kitchen. We contacted the owner and they indicated they would call an exterminator but we would have to leave the property for three hours. This was an issue as we had a dog and would not have been able to keep him occupied in the heat for that amount of time. We decided to just deal with it. We cleaned before leaving and never had additional charges in a rental. It is frustrating when the guest is willing to deal with issues that arise in a rental but the host does not reciprocate. It is also concerning that bed spreads are not laundered between guests. The location is nice but the residence is overrated at 5 stars. It is a 3 star at best. Even if we had not received the additional charge, we would not have rebooked since we have stayed at nicer places in Surfside, but the hospitality of the host was just as distasteful.

We had a great time during our stay! Only a block to walk to the beach and also the convenience of a private pool with plenty of outside space.

This was a great property! The only reason we gave 4 stars for cleanliness was because the floors were pretty dirty. We mopped them. I think the cleaning lady just forgot becuase everything else was spotless!! The loction was fabulous! The walk to the beach was really short, less than a block and not crowded! We had plenty of room. We would definetely stay there again!! If you ever do remodel, we would love to see the kitchen open up more. We did cook a lot and ate meals together and it was tight with just the little pass through to get in and out of the kitchen! Thanks Judy for a wonderful family vacation!! Oh and we really enjoyed the pool.... we lived in it when we were not at the beach!!!

This was our 4th year at this house. Owners do a wonderful job keeping it updated, noticed new couch and tv in living room this year! It’s perfect for our family trip of 12. Great pool, lots of privacy considering close proximity of properties. Lots of parking. Already booked for year 5!!

Great house for family vacation! The sunroom was perfect for the kids to play Legos/games, away from the living/dining room areas. Very beautifully decorated with beach theme. Nice coming back from the beach & having the private pool to ourselves. A great time was had by everyone!

Our family all liked this house. Short walk to the beach, private pool and pool area was fantastic. Property manager was very responsive when AC went out on a Sunday night they had it serviced withing a couple of hours. We would rent this house again.

We had a really enjoyable week with our group of 12. The house was perfect and accommodated us well The pool area was great and owner sent someone over to clean it when asked. The house was clean however the floors were not. Upon arrival the cleaner was still there and ran out of time. The location was perfect and was a very short walk to the beach. Overall we were very happy with the house and had a wonderful vacation.

Our stay was wonderful! The home was clean- we all felt comfortable letting our babies crawl around. The house is a great size (we had 16 guests in total, 10 adults, 3 kids, 3 infants). Beach access is very close and there is a nice strip of restaurants a short golf cart ride away. We would love to stay there again!

The home was very clean and well maintained Our family enjoyed the convenience of shopping beach and the pool was wonderful entertainment for the kids . Will we stay again most definitely. The owners were very polite and even called to make sure everything was great and we were satisfied. I Want to Thank the owners for allowing us to rent the house . This house was perfect for our family of 16. The pool was phenomenal. The beach was one block over. Parking was great for all 6 cars. The kitchen was equipped with all the pots and pans, dishes, glasses, cups, serving utensils etc. you will need to provide your own seasoning. The owner is easy to reach and responsive. It was a fabulous vacation!!

Such a great house to get all 5 daughters and their spouses and grandchildren together. Does not happen often enough!! House exceptionally clean and just an awesome property.

We had a wonderful time at Surfside Beach. The “Sunset” home has six spacious bedrooms, four great bathrooms, and was plenty of room for nine adults and three small children. The refrigerator worked well, the air conditioner worked well, the pool was great for our young ones, and the ocean is a very short one block walk. We did rent a golf cart for the week to shuttle beach equipment and family members back and forth to the ocean. We are very appreciative to the owners for sharing their home with us and we look forward to staying there again in the future.

Our family had a great week at this beautiful property. We loved the pool, proximity to the beach and the cleanliness of the property. The neighborhood is just quiet enough while still being close to restaurants and cute parks. Can’t wait to come back!

This property was gorgeous! 6 large bedrooms and 4 full baths, room for everyone , plus a pool. About 1 block walk to the beach. Close to other attractions as well. Would recommend this house for family get togethers. Would definitely consider renting this property again.

This was our third year at this house. Great property! Awesome pool. Plenty of parking and the two drives eases some of the car movement. House is a great size for a lot of people. Very short walk to the beach. Owners constantly upgrading things and take great care of the property. Owners are easy to contact if needed and have been great all 3 years. We love staying here and are already planning our 4th year!!

This was our second year staying at Sunset..plenty of space and resources to accommodate all of us. We look forward to next year!

This was definately one of our best vrbo experiances. Sunset was perfect for our family of 16. We arrived to a clean house, love the warm painted blues. The kitchen was stocked and organized, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the guests needs. Bedrooms are nice sized. Beautiful beach at surfside is just a short walk, well kept neighborhood, and the pool an added plus, the grandkids enjoyed the pool toys. And of course having a beautiful sunny week made it all the better. Tom and Judy were easy to reach and always responded quickly. Definately recommend!
