Beautiful property, ample space for our group, all the bedrooms and bathrooms were neat and tidy and everything in the house was in great condition. Couple of suggestions - add more silverware in the kitchen and look into the hot tub temperature. We couldn't enjoy the hot tub as the water was not hot enough, it was just about warm and wouldn't heat up anymore.

The overall experience was great. Very spacious, clean, and inviting. I booked this house for my sisters bachelorette weekend. Although it rained the entire time there was a lot to do and all had a great time. The views and scenery were beautiful. The communication with the property owners was wonderful, there were not issues at all.

We had a great day for my wife's birthday with two families worth of friends. All 13 of us had places to sleep. The amenities were nice and the location was perfect.
The mattresses that I slept on was pretty old and was sunken in from use. Also, don't try to sleep in the rooms on the first floor If you are the first to bed. You can hear every footfall.
Choose your level according to your desired climate. 1st floor: Arctic Sleepers
2nd floor: Temperate Sleepers
3rd floor: Jungle Heat.
These things didn't affect our stay, they are just things to know. We had a great time and would recommend the cabin to anyone.with a bigger group.

This is the second time we have rented at DC and will most likely be the last. While the management company was responsive with all of our issues, I question why we should have had issues in the first place. The hot tub was disgusting which was unfortunate since having a hot tub was a major item I looked for in the listing. When the mechanic came to fix he was none to happy with the management company and told us we should definitely ask for money back. It was freezing and the house had NO blankets. After the first night we called and blankets were sent over - this was in January!. The first floor of the house where my son, daughter in law and 3 grandchildren stayed had no heat. It was freezing and we never were able to get heat to come on. The top floor where my daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren was sweltering whenever we had the fire place on. You had to take the fireplace apart to turn it on which was totally weird. Lastly the house itself was filled to the brim inside and out with junk and was less than clean. We paid top dollar for 4 nights, surely this is wrong.

This is a nice property but unfortunately the maintenance of the property is not managed very well. We had to take photos of things that were broken upon our arrival. Also, a sewage pipe under one of the sinks was broken and there was a fowl smell in the home when we arrived, maintenance did come to repair the pipe, but the other broken items should have been repaired before our arrival. Animal hair was left on the carpets and because of the previous reviews we saw, the property was contacted and they assured us the property would be properly cleaned. Other than that we made the best of our stay.

A beautiful property but very poorly maintained. Mouse droppings, debris, electrical poor hot tub continued to trip breakers, wires dangling from roof, shower in basement clogged drain and slimy tile,, coffee left in coffee pot from previous renters and balloons and decorations. We so wanted to love it, but just felt dirty. A little maintenance would go a long way and proper housekeeping.

Beautiful cabin
Stayed at this cabin with 3 families. It is beautiful and spacious. The location is great, lake front and close to Wisp. Gorgeous view of the lake. The beds were all great and there was plenty of space for our big crew. We would definitely stay here again!

GREAT HOUSE
Very convenient to WISP resort where we skied. Great layout with plenty of room for all of us. Bedrooms were a nice size. We loved the open concept downstairs with the kitchen, living room and dining area.

Winter getaway
Perfect location with quick easy access to ski slopes and hiking trails. The house had enough sleeping space for my family and my sisters family. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare big meals for everyone.

Family Christmas mini vacation
We had 2 houses not far from each other. We just wanted to spend Christmas together and with Covid we thought this would be the best and safe way to go. Everybody gotta tested before coming. It was a great family experience, creating memories and building healthy loving relationships is the goal. Therefore being in a huge house where there’s plenty of space, outside is open and available for activities this was perfect at a time like this. We had a Covid free great mini mini Christmas vacation (3 days) 23-26. Side bar its a lot of steps tho.

Quick Family Getaway
My family enjoyed our getaway which was the first time in over a year that we got to spend some leisurely time together. It rained the majority of time but the property was comfortable and spacious so we were able to enjoy ourselves indoors without feeling confined. Loved the private pier, quick access to the water, and nearby hiking trails. Also loved that it was pet friendly so we could bring the pups who had a great time.

Week at deep creek lake
Had a wonderful week at deep creek lake staying at bearadise found. Really enjoyed relaxing and swimming at the lake. It’s a close walk to hiking trails/Mt bike trails. Easy access to restaurants, bars, and fun. It was a wonderful week.

Although we had bad weather all weekend, the house was very spacious and our group was all able to comfortably hang out and make the most of it. The hot tub was a huge hit.

Great long weekend get away!
Perfect location! We were close to Wisp, hiking, shopping.... everything we wanted to do was within a 20 min drive.
Loved every minute of our trip and are eager to go back in the summer.

Great Place for Large Group
Had a gathering of friends for a weekend guys trip. This place was perfect! Had multiple rooms and many areas for us to hang out in, including the pool table, Fire Pit and a Dock where we did some fishing, and tied up our tubes to just float around in. We also rented a boat and it was nice that we could park it at the dock just steps from the house.
The check in/out process was easy and everything was documented on how to use items around the house like the Wifi and hot tub. I saw some earlier reviews about the broken screen door on the deck which was still broken, but no issues as we just didn't use it. We planned on grilling out and the house had a great grill and gas for it was provided. It was a perfect trip and I will be back for sure!

I wouldn’t rent again.
When we arrived the cabin hadn’t been cleaned. There were dead bugs everywhere, the whole place smelled musty because the dehumidifiers were all full and not working. The door knob to the deck was broken and kept falling off. We called and a cleaner came almost immediately which was nice but overall frustrating because it was after 8pm and we had small children with us ready for bed. The cabin had a wonderful setup and a lot of potential but it was expensive for the condition it was in. I wouldn’t rent again.

Overall satisfied
Loved the private dock and fire pit in the woods!! Minor repairs to the property were the only flaw I. E. Upper sliding screen and upper glass door handle continuously fell off.

Great location, nice stay, nice cabin
We enjoyed our stay, I would have liked if certain things were a little more taken care of:
- there was some decor that was falling off the walls
- relatively colder downstairs
- I would have also liked if there were trash bags provided and more toilet paper, or give people a list of what isn't provided
- More utensils for the amount of people the house can fit
-The one thing I was not happy with was the driveway was not clear and some cars had to stay at the bottom because it was all ice and with the driveway being on a steep hill, it was very difficult to get the cars up, even AWD cars.
We did love the fireplace, it helped to warm up the house in the cold weather.
Overall, it was a perfect house for our group of people. Very cozy and close to Wisp Resort for skiing.

With a little TLC, Bearadise found has the potential to be a five star. Couldn’t use the dishwasher or the side of the kitchen sink with the garbage disposal because the disposal leaked so badly. Couldn’t open windows in the lower floor bedroom because the screens were torn and damaged. There was a musty smell in the lower level of the house. After opening the kitchen window, was not able to close it because the linkage was broken. Had to call maintenance to fix the door knob on the door leading out to the upper deck. The door knob was so worn from excessive use it came off while attempting to open or close door. The upper deck sliding screen door kept falling out of its track. I would like to recommend that you all have better steps to enter and exit the hot tub. It was very difficult to get in and out of the hot tub and some guests were afraid to use it because of the steps.

This is a great house for multiple / big families as there are bedrooms on each level and most rooms are quite equitable. The big deck was wonderful as was the dock and fire pit area across the street. The kitchen was well equipped. The downstairs had a bit of a musty smell and the hot tub smelled quite dirty. The dishwasher and washing machine also leaked a bit, but none of these things caused major problems. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay!

Location is beautiful... Gorgeous quiet cove. House needs work. Lower level has definite water issues. Very strong musty smell. Found and reported leaks around washer. This house is in a great location with water and state park access. We loved having the fire pit and dock for our all-day boat rental. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all in good shape, though everyone spent our indoor time in the great room and kitchen which provided plenty of space for the ten of us (five teen boys). The deck (with grill) added to that space nicely. In May, the lack of A/C wasn't a problem other than one bedroom being a bit warm. I think the only thing we really wished was different was a larger dining (and game) table. We usually like to try a different place each year but this is one that we'd consider renting again.

Rental company staff was very helpful with booking and questions. Check in and out was simple. The property was in decent shape and clean. The exterior doors were difficult to lock/unlock and the basement level stays pretty cold in the winter even with the heat on. The house had plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. We all wished the Hot Tub was closer to a door, it was a very cold walk through the snow to get to it. Overall I would recommend this property and rental company to anyone looking for a fun get away!

I had a wonderful time at this vacation home. The location is beautiful . There were a few maintenance problems. But the staff at tailor-made was super friendly and responsive in getting those items fixed. The pictures of the property show two gas grills on the deck. If you are planning on renting this property don't count on the grills working. The guts were rotted out. Other than that my family had a great time.

When we first entered the property the entrance was covered in cob webs and had a bunch of dead bugs. Upon entering there was a terrible musty smell. We entered through the lower level and I spotted the dehumidifier which was full. I emptied it three times within 24 hours. There were also dead bugs throughout the lower level on the floor. I called the rental company and they were quick to respond with someone to remove trash that found on the back porch and also to send a house keeper to clean bottom level. She was wonderful. Later Justin from the property maintenance checked in with us and was also wonderful. The house is showing age such as the screen doors not shutting properly and the worm out cabinets in the kitchen. I enjoyed the dock and the fire pit. This house needs a good cleaning inside and out and some updating. It still did not ruin our fun at deepcreek. We would use Taylormade again but not book this house.

First impressions regarding cleanliness and condition of the property were poor. One room was uninhabitable due to a gap in the window with the A/C unit which allowed lots of bugs into the room. Many rooms had dead bugs under the beds. Most comforters on the beds were dirty. Wi_Fi and the phone didn't work in spite of the Geek Squad visit. Both can openers were broken and the garbage disposal quit working. Several rooms had problems with window screens not seating properly which also allowed bugs in. Blinds were broken. One door to deck kept coming off it's track and the screen was torn. The laundry room had a water issue with pooling in the corner and the mat being soaked. This created a musty, mildew aroma making the 1st floor uninhabitable by persons with allergies and asthma. Outside of these issues,the high points were location, dock, parking, large kitchen, beautiful vaulted ceiling in the main room, the hot tub, and it was close to points of interest and outdoor activities, grocery stores, restaurants, and had a very nice deck.
