We were in town for a family wedding. The place was very clean and located only a block from down town. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very easy to work with.

The Kinsmen Lodge hosts were the best hosts I have ever dealt with. They went out of their way to make our stay the best possible, and the Lodge was perfect. The Kinsmen Lodge and the owners are absolutely top ten and deserve the highest recommendations!

This place is amazing. Extremely clean and to say well stocked is an understatement. Lovely furnishings and appliances. We went to play golf at Tatanka but the weather did not cooperate. We fully intend returning in the summer or fall and would not hesitate in using Mark's place again. Mark himself is terrific to deal with and a really nice bloke into the bargain. Thanks again for letting us use your awesome place.

Excellent

I brought myself, family, and their significant others for a good time away from the city. The place was great, very clean, and the quality of the linens were amazing…made me wish I had blankets similar to theirs. Overall we had a great time but when you factor the cost per night, cleaning fee, additional guest fees, etc the listing can be more pricey than it seems. Overall we paid a little over $600 for 6 people to stay for two nights. I think it was money well spent, but only for a one time situation. Outside from the cost, it really was a clean and welcoming place to stay. There were a few minor things we noticed when staying the weekend. The pictures included a beautiful backyard, a patio, and fire pit. The listing did not state we were on the side of the duplex that did not have these amenities, and to my understanding there wasn’t a separate booking indicating which side was was which. Additionally, when using the bathroom there is no ventilation system/dehumidifier. This causes the bathroom the get really steamy, which is evident by the accumulation of mold on the floor vent.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Mark was so helpful and the cabin had everything you could want and more. One of my favorite parts was that they purchased quality items for this cabin. We weren’t there to hunt but this place would be great if you were. Everything is so close and within walking distance.

I went with my husband, my dad and my 90 year old grandpa and all of us had a wonderful time! It was very clean and the owner called on the morning of check in to see if we needed anything and was very friendly and professional! Over all it was a wonderful stay!!!

Great location for fishing, state parks and hunting. It was a great little getaway from Omaha. The property itself was perfect with comfortable beds and couch for relaxing after a long day outside. Everything worked great and was in excellent condition.

Overall, property was clean minus finding about 10-15 stickaburs on the floor which wasn't fun when finding them with your foot. Place was a perfect little place for my wife, kids, and myself. We spent 2 nights there. Would definitely recommend. Mark was a great person to deal with.

Locals were very nice. The cabin it’s self was beautiful my didn’t want to leave. Very clean and spacious. Easy to travel to beautiful national parks 2hrs away from lovely water falls.

It was clean, close to the park, and a nice quiet weekend getaway!

This duplex is very nice, the beds and furniture are comfortable. The property is located in kind of a storage area but it is very convenient to stores and restaurants. It has 2 decks so each party can use one without intruding on the other. The party who shared the property with us were very conscientious and quiet. The only issue I have is the shower pan floor is not skid resistant and if a person isn't careful it becomes very slick with water and a fall could occur.

Everything was as described and photographed. The manager/owner was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. There weren't any issues. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

This was a nice little get away. Met up with some family for the weekend to explore Niobrara State Park. This lodge was the perfect place for us to come back and relax after hiking the trails. It was clean and comfortable. A good time was had by all and we are already planning next years trip. Hopefully we can stay here again!

Perfect for our family and boating

This property was super clean snd tidy. It had everything we needed as a family. Great location to get to Niobrara State Park and Lewis and Clark area. Our family enjoyed sitting on the porch when we were back at the property. If you have kids they will love the bunk beds!! Mark was super easy to work with and had a super easy check in/out process. We would love to stay there again sometime.

Everything was great and as described. Wish it were a little less spendy, since it wasn’t on the water, but the amenities were spot on from the description. Cable didn’t work well, but having spent weekends in the area throughout childhood, I didn’t really go in expecting great cable or internet service on windy weekends. Thanks Mark-we had a nice stay.

We wanted to take a small, local getaway and landed at Kinsman Lodge because we booked only 2 weeks out, over a cold winter weekend. The cabin is practically brand new, well kept and the owner is great. All the amenities you need are here - appliances, tv, wifi - and there is plenty of space for larger groups. We traveled with our dog and 8 mo old and felt right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to go back. Would highly recommend to other families, hunters, or couples looking for a place to stay in the Niobrara area.

This was a great weekend getaway to Niobrara. We enjoyed hikes at Niobrara State Park, family games and movies at Kinsmen Lodge. The lodge was clean, well kept and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Property was super clean and organized, nice amenities. But.... do not let the pictures be deceiving. This is a Duplex, you will be splitting this place with another party if you choose to only rent one side. Also the mud room is pretty small so if you are sharing the duplex expect it to get pretty tight inside. The shop that is shown in the pictures is not for the guest, we were under the impression we would have somewhere to store our gear and boats from the weather. But, the shop is not for guest as we were informed upon arrival. Last, the property is listed to sleep 6 people, which is true, but what it is not clear about is there will be a $25 charge per person/per night for anyone over 4 people.... so I would suggest contacting the owner or property manager before committing.
