共同スペースがおしゃれで清潔感があった 洗濯物がベランダにも干せたこと

洗面台はお湯がでないこと 2階と3階を行き来できる簡易的なサンダル等あるとなおよいと思いました。

The guesthouse is a 12 min walk to the ferry and has many locals restaurants nearby. The conbini is a 5min walk. The owner speaks English and is very kind. What exceed my expectation was their towels. The towels were so absorbant and soft. The room we had was spacious and had many hooks for hangers. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I had a good night of rest. The kitchen has many pots and utensils as well as seasonings, so making breakfast was easy. They have bike (no gear mamachari) for rental for very cheap but borrow at your own expense. My chain came off on the ride and the light ran out of battery. Ishigaki is relatively flat unless going to Banna park which I did, and it was not the best bike for it.

It is a wonderful place for a fun stay! The women-only floor is actually a share house, with most residents having lived there for several years. So it was wonderful to get to know the residents and listen to their stories. The guesthouse was well equipped, with two kitchens, several bathrooms, washing machines, etc. I was able to see the sunrise from my balcony every day and it was great to relax on the hammock on the balcony.

I booked a private room, but it didn't feel that private to me, as there was an open gap between the wall and ceiling (probably for ventilation). It was not a big issue, as all the residents were very quiet at night, but it made me feel self-conscious about making noise.

At this price, there's really not much more you can ask for! Improving things will necessarily increase the price. Maybe AC in all rooms (some had it, some didn't)

Before my arrival, The owner Kenta called to check on my arrival and waited despite the late timing. During the whole stay, facilities were kept clean and in good working condition. The day before my departure, I got ill and had to get to the hospital, Kenta accompanied me to the emergency room and waited until I got out.

Despite staying for 10days, my stay felt short, would definitely go again.

The shower room is good enough for people who’s gonna travel with minimum cost, but there is a little dirty around the drain.
