Great for us (a group of old university mates in our 60s doing a tour of the goldfields). Clean, well equipped with a good communal area but our own comfortable bedrooms.

The property was just as advertised.
Plenty of room for four couples to stay.
The location of the property is excellent & we’d be more than happy to stay again if we’re ever back in Bendigo.

What a great place for our family to get together. Plenty of space, clean and a very well equipped kitchen. Close to central Bendigo but still very quiet. Plenty of parking. Loved the chooks!

WONDERFUL! The cottage was close to the town, clean and welcoming, lovely open living with fully equipped kitchen and family room with games, netflix and tourist information. Nice bedrooms with ensuites or located closeby. Bedrooms with spacious wardrobes and most comfortable beds. Lovely garden where sweet little birds visit. BBQ and comfortably sit outside shaded by umbrellas or easy access to sunroom and play room for kids. We even had fresh eggs from the chooks on arrival. Host very friendly and helpful. Very affordable accommodation and highly recommended for larger groups up to 12 people. We shall certainly come and stay again.

Our stay was full of surprises which made it less than expected. No TV inside the house. To watch the TV in the outdoor shed it was not inviting. Having to go out in the cold to watch the evening news was crazy. Also cramped if more than 4 people in there. The door to the shed room kept jamming and difficult to open / close.The kids playhouse building terrible, missing windows, dirty and not usable. The back garden in need of a good tidy up, broken kids toy, no chocks.
No clothes dryer.
The study room being used as a storage area by the owner.
Automatic lights and fans in the 6 bathrooms / toilets very annoying at night.

Great for large group
Nine members of my book club went away for a weekend. The house was great for what we needed: plenty of quiet bedrooms and great kitchen. Common areas were comfortable; location was quiet but also just a walk from the shops. We had a lovely weekend and would return.

Fantastic Bendigo Accommodation
Fantastic property for large groups. We stayed for a family wedding in Bendigo and it was perfect. Great location on a quiet street. The house was clean and had everything you could want for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of bathrooms/toilets for all guests.

Bendigo Friends Trip
Couldn't have picked a more convenient place. It was very close to the city centre but was situated in a nice quiet area. The house had plenty of room for everyone to hang out and eat together, but also had ample space for when people required their own time. We really enjoyed this stay!

Happy Holidays
Well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms/ bathrooms clean. No tv in the house was disappointing, but during the Xmas period we were happy outside. Would definitely go back.

Family Christmas
It’s brilliant for a family. I got excited when the website said a ‘hot tub’ which in fact was a shower over the spa bath. Three blinds in bedroom windows need fixing - one wouldn’t come down, two wouldn’t go up, so no light came into the bedroom. Because the house lends itself to being shared by strangers, having the TV in an outside sitting room is a great idea. Amazing amount of kitchen supplies and two fridges. I would thoroughly recommend a family utilising this property. The access and bedroom for someone with a disability is excellent.

A shining light
The shining light of most properties. This little gem is well thought out to cater for a large number of guests.
The kids loved the back yard, the chooks, the games room, and the play areas and our group of 3 families loved that everyone could enjoy their own separate accommodation space and the relaxing environment.

Perfect for extended family and friends
This property was perfect for our group of friends with their kids, ranging from baby to 13 years old.
The house has a big well equipped kitchen and large table which was great for our big group. Big backyard that the kids loved, with grass to play, veggie patch to explore, small games room and pet chickens!
Living area was large and included lots of books, board games, puzzles etc. Wifi was fast. Check in and out was super easy and it was convenient that all locks were electronic so never needed to worry about a key.
All the bedrooms were big and the beds were super cosy and comfortable. The house had everything we needed with lots of extras that make a family holiday easier like glad wrap, laundry detergent, cooking basics etc.
I would highly recommend this property for a group like ours. Enough room for everyone to be able to have their own space but great areas when you want to come together.
Property host was also lovely and very easy to deal with! Thanks for having us.

Super convenient and well appointed
Great location in the heart of Bendigo. Yet still quiet and secluded enough to make a great writer's retreat for us. Plenty of room and we each had a desk, and the views from upstairs were amazing. Very enviro friendly and comfortable.

Ideal accommodation for a group in Bendigo
The 7 bedroom house was perfect for our group of 12. The large kitchen is well laid out and equipped. A pleasant sun room, outside seating and indoor lounge area gave it a spacious feeling. The position in Bendigo is very central, ideal for walking to all attractions. Highly recommended!

Perfect for us
The property was perfect for a large group travelling for sport. Each family had use of their own bathrooms, and the outdoor area was great for socialising. We will be back.

Great spot for a large group of travellers
Perfect place for a large group of travellers. We hired for entire place for 6 couples and a child. Each couple had a private room. Outdoor area with backyard, beer garden type setup, sunroom and BBQ was the perfect entertainment area to bring in nye. Chicken pen and sandpit was a hit with the young one.

Winter escape
The property was spotless and clearly renovated fairly recently. We used 6 of the bedrooms. Excellent configuration of rooms with two ensuites.
However there were some issues with thermostats for heating. The owner was happy to come around to assist. There did seem to be problems with the place managing to get to the temperature that we wanted (22).
Overall, our group loved our stay.

Our family of 5 adults and 6 children loved staying at Stay Social in Bendigo. The quality of everything was really noticeable and it was spotlessly clean. A really convenient and quiet location. There was space for everyone to move about and be comfortable. The children enjoyed collecting eggs from the chooks. Having such a beautiful big kitchen made preparing family meals a treat, we could all get in and help without getting in the way.
