Surf Tide è una casa sulla spiaggia in stile tradizionale Edisto, proprio sulla spiaggia ea pochi passi dall'oceano. Il grande ponte al largo della zona giorno principale (con una parte coperta e una terrazza aperta) offre una fantastica vista sulla spiaggia e sull'oceano. Questo portico e il ponte offrono anche una zona ombreggiata sotto per rilassarsi vicino alla spiaggia ma al riparo dal sole.
Goditi la vasca idromassaggio sul ponte sulla spiaggia, proprio accanto alla grande sala. Questo posto gode di una splendida vista sulla spiaggia e sull'oceano mentre ci si rilassa nella spa - ottimo per serate fresche mentre si gode il tramonto.
Questa casa è stata ampiamente rinnovata negli ultimi 3 anni. I lavori di ristrutturazione comprendono una ristrutturazione completa della cucina, una ristrutturazione di uno dei bagni al piano superiore esistenti e l'aggiunta di un bagno completo alla pianta del piano superiore, per un totale di 4, 5 bagni. We stayed at this property several times and will continue to do so. Unfortunately, we booked this property on the same week that Hurricane Debbie hit Edisto Island and had to vacate the property after just a one day stay.

Our family of 10 enjoyed our week at Surftide. Like the openness of the kitchen and family room. The bedrooms and baths were very clean and comfortable. The older boys loved being downstairs in their man cave. Have already booked for 2025

Just finished our annual family beach trip for our large extended tribe at this traditional beach home. This house is ideally located right on the ocean with forty feet of beach frontage and spacious decks for lounging and living. Plenty of indoor space also with a large dining area and a good sized kitchen. Parking for five cars. We greatly enjoyed our stay, and at least one of our family members said the 'best location yet.'

Rented the house to take our kids and their partners to our favorite beach. The house set up is perfect for a group. Bedrooms on each side with the living room and kitchen in the center. Lower level is its own apartment. Loved the rocking chairs on the deck. Furnishings were comfortable and perfect for a large group.
We did have an issue in the house and notified the owner. They were very quick to respond and it was handled.
Would definitely rent from them again.

This home is clean, comfortable, on the beach, and fully stocked! While this home can accommodate many guests, our stay was perfect with two adults and two dogs! The property manager is wonderful! He was very responsive, timely, and accommodating with anything we needed or asked. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, beachfront stay. We will definitely be back and are very much looking forward to it! Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing vacation!

Enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family. The only drawback is the lack of indoor stairs connecting the floors. The proximity of the house to beach is perfect. Very quiet, laid back vibe.

We liked that the great room had double tables that made puzzle creating, coloring, eating etc. easy! The tables helped keep the island clutter free! The built in bunks were a hit with our grandkids! The deck and furnishings were great. We enjoyed a low country boil Tuesday night. The guys found a local fish market to purchase large shrimp and scallops! The closeness to the beach was perfect for the little ones! On the down side, the refrigerator did not have an ice maker. The temp upstairs was really cold on the right side as you enter from the street and the downstairs shower had critters that climbed in the shower floor. These are all maintenance issues and the age of property and probably beach weather
We did report a leak in the downstairs ceiling. These issues did not influence the memories made for the week with birthday celebrations and family and therefore the five star rating. We wished there had been a planned fireworks celebration on the 4th! Our kid arranged for a family picture taken on a beautiful treelined road rather than the beach. They also planned a Boy’s night out and a Girl’s night out at the
local restaurants including a Sip and Paint for the girls at the Windham property! We appreciated William keeping us informed about the power outage and mailing my tennis shoes that I still can’t figure out how I overlooked!

Excellent beach location with a wide views of the ocean. Several Loggerhead turtle nests near the property made for some very interesting beach exploring.

This property has everything, location, space, and great views of the beach. The property manager was attentive and courteous. We highly recommend this property.

This large home is situated right on the beach. The residence’s floors and windows were not clean when we arrived. The bathroom fixtures and kitchen counters and appliances and rest of the house were clean. An email to the owner prompted a quick response; the floors were cleaned. I believe this issue is being managed.

Good afternoon.
Thank you for allowing us to rent your beach house august 20-27. We will however, not be back. The place is absolutely filthy and needs a full scrub down from top to bottom. We had to clean kitchen and bathrooms upon arrival. Their are spiders and cob webs on the ceiling and LARGE/ small cockroaches invading the home. Under furniture and behind living room chairs look to have been cleaned rarely, if ever. The vents are covered in dust , and mold on upstairs bathroom ceiling.
The basement living smells like fish and is dank and honest to goodness the furniture feels damp from all the moisture. Not ideal when sleeping down there for a full week. I do believe the smell is coming from the refrigerator we pull the refrigerator forward to try and locate the smell and cleaned up some sticky mess under the fridge but the smell still comes from the fan in the refrigerator.
While it was very enjoyable to stay on the beach and have a deck/ hot tub, it was a shame to have spent thousands on a rental that is just not properly cared for.

Family time at Edisto
The rental process was simple. The house came supplied with lots of extras. Outside chairs, games for inside and out. Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils for our crew that loves yo cook. The back deck that faces the ocean was the perfect place to start and end our day.

Perfect for multi family
Beautifully laid out home for multi generation family vacation. We were pleasantly surprised out how well stocked the kitchen was, everything we needed! Very nice outdoor shower and foot rinse before going upstairs.
Plenty of room for parking, we had 4 vehicles and a trailer. No issues.

Great fit for our family!
There was plenty of room for all 17 of us and a deck large enough for us to gather together for coffee and star gazing. The huge dining table makes eating together a breeze. The ocean views from the deck were awesome! The hot tub and outdoor shower were a nice touch! You can’t get much closer to the ocean! If you are looking for a beach vacation, you really can’t ask for more!

Great home for Family Vacation
We had 11 family members get together in this wonderful home. Everyone had a bed, and there were still more beds in this home. The dogs and the people all had a great time. You can walk out on to the beach whenever you want with the beach being right out the back door without having to haul a lot of stuff. We found ourselves enjoying the house, the beach, and town so much that we would have loved to stay more than a week. The owners and VRBO were great to work with.

Nice place but needs a serious deep clean
The house is right on the beach which is great, the kitchen is well equipped and the great room has a long table that is great for big groups. However, the downstairs is musty and dark and the entire house needs a major cleaning. The surfaces were clean but the cabinets, walls, windows, baseboards, refrigerator were filthy.

A Plus beach experience
Staying at Surftide provides for a wonderful beach experience.
The home is as close to the surf as you can get at Edisto Beach, and relaxing on the porch, in the hot tube, and in the home itself you are always aware of the surf - yummy. The covered porch was great for taking our leisurely meals ad lib for each member of the family to suit his or her needs, and the extra large indoor dining table allowed for the 12 of us to dine together at dinner.
The surfside porch was also right under the pelican pod flyway, and they provided almost constant delight to all.

Excellent beach front house for large families
Excellent location on the beach with great deck and hot tub to enjoy on cooler days. House is well stocked and laid out to support a mixed family vacation.
Lack of interior stair was not an issue for us as the multiple exterior stairs are sturdy and contain relatively few steps (compared to more recently built houses that are more elevated).
One note: driveway is short and steep and very close to the road so be aware depending on what type of vehicles you are bringing.

Beautiful and peaceful
We had never been to Edisto. We usually spend two weeks in kiawah but not beachfront. We have never been so close to the ocean. I loved the laid back atmosphere of the island. We will be returning.

Oceanfront gem!!
Surf tide was the perfect spot for our family gathering celebrating our mom’s 80th birthday. Steps from the ocean, plenty of room for 13, all you need to cook in and easy access to eat out. ❤️

Nice Beach Home!!
Our entire family of 18 from ages 1-53 stayed here for 9 days!! The home was right on the water and spacious enough to hold us all comfortably. The home was fully stocked and all necessities were within walking distance to restock as needed. Any small problems were remedied within moments of contacting the hosts. Great family vacation rental!!!

Edisto Dreaming
Our group was a mini family reunion, and Surf Tide was a wonderful venue. The long banquet table allowed our group to dine and socialize together. The house location beach front is beautiful and convenient. The minor issues we had were addressed by the property owner with whom I had direct contact. We shared lots of laugh and created many great memories. Thank you Mr. Smith for allowing us to use Surf Tide to do so.

We had a wonderful time! The renovations to the upstairs are great. The upper deck being so big and having a covered area is a huge plus. The kitchen was well furnished. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay!
This was the first time visiting Edisto and the house couldn’t have been more perfect for our group. Just steps to the beach and loved getting to enjoy the porch / hot tub. All you could ever need but the outdoor shower was a nice touch. Hope to be back again!

Great house for large group
Perfect house for our family of 13. The upstairs separate from the downstairs worked really well for those early to bed and early to rise. Great table to have meals for our large family. Perfect space for gathering.

Rest and relaxation
We had a great day. It was the first time away fence the pandemic and it was such a treat to meet with friends. We especially enjoyed the back deck love that part of it is covered. We spent all of our time out there playing cards listening to the waves it was just beautiful. I will definitely rent here again

Perfect Beach Getaway for Family
My family and I were able to enjoy the beauty and comfort of Surf Tide over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was the perfect getaway for us during this crazy time of Covid-19. The home is so spacious that we were able to social distance from one another, while still enjoying each others company. Having both the upstairs and downstairs living areas and kitchens was a huge plus for Thanksgiving meal preparations. The kitchen was stocked with everything anyone would need, and then some! The house is beautiful, with clean and comfortable beds, and plenty of bathrooms. I have to say our favorite part was the huge deck! The two large ables were perfect for outdoor dining, with of course the most amazing views. The ocean is just steps away! I have never seen such beautiful sunrises AND sunsets than we had while we were there. We also enjoyed the corn hole and hot tub. Perfect for outdoor fun on those cold winter nights! Thank you so much for allowing us to gather safely in this beautiful home for some much needed time together. We will definitely be back!

More Than Expected!
Special time with family! Brought my elderly mother to the beach to 'tip her toes' in the sand! While here... nephew proposed to his girlfriend. Wonderful memories in a wonderful home. Plenty of space for everyone. Great walk in shower for my mother... excellent access to the beach! The dining room table was wonderful for the whole family. Believe it could seat up to 14? Already talking about our next trip to Edisto Beach. No reason to stay any where else... beautiful home with unforgettable memories. Will be back! Owners were very easy to communicate with... and accommodating on special requests. Highly recommend!

Heaven on Earth

Best house on edisto island. I don't think you can get any closer to the sand and surf. Watched the ghost crabs from the deck Great family celebration. House is as pictured. Plenty of room for sitting and enjoying the view even the rain. Hot tub was a hit with everyone as well as all the great restaurants on the island.
Can't imagine staying any place else. Hope to get back next year.
