We did not realize this was a two story cabin. Made it hard for 4 75 to 80 year old going to the bedrooms up stairs. Plus we had to wash towels and strip the beds prior to leaving.

Cabin was great. Location was great. Very clean and comfortable.

We were disappointed that the hot tub was a community one and was kind of far away from the cabin. The steps inside the cabin were very steep. The beds were very uncomfortable. Location was great!

We stayed in "Sourdough" and were impressed by the small touches of comfort- coffee pods and cream in the fridge, Turkish towels, a thorough welcome notebook... The place is brand new and shows care in craftsmanship. The cabin has super comfortable beds, and stays very warm and cozy. Great set up for a get away weekend for friends or families. The hot tub can't be beat! Two thumbs up and five stars for sure!

great little cabin. hot tub was a wonderful way to walk sup and drink coffee in the morning. Cabin had everything we needed. bed was comfy and cabin was clean.

The pictures of the property were great, but ... The ad says cabin with hot tub, that is the hook that made us book this property. We did not expect a community tub, more than 75 feet away from the cabin in the middle of several vrbo properties, some under construction it seemed. Fortunately, we were the only ones staying in the complex and we did use the tub. The bedrooms are upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, the stairs are way too small and borderline dangerous. We (at our age) have to use the bathroom a couple times during the night. We were not comfortable walking down and up those stairs in the middle of the night half asleep, so we slept on the couches on the main level. We love Talkeetna but the cabin was not as advertised in our opinion. Thank you

Just what we were looking for, quiet, comfortable, clean cabin with wonderful got tub outdoor setting. We thoroughly e joyed our weekend and will be back again!!

The cabin was wonderful. Very clean and cozy.

We took the train to Talkeetna and walked to the property from there. The walk was not bad, though I wouldn’t want to do it with roller luggage. The cabin and host were great. Everything was clean and in good working order. The Hot tub was great at the end of the day and we enjoyed our very short walk to downtown Talkeetna, we causally walked back and forth 4 times without any issues.

This cabin is absolutely adorable. We had three people in a party and there was enough space for us to sleep comfortably. We unfortunately did not get to use the hot tub.

The cabin was cute and cozy and so convenient for going to town. The property owners were very welcoming and look like they are working on some nice property upgrades. Definitely take advantage of the hot tub - it was perfect!

Drew was very easy to work with. The check in/out process was seamless. Instructions for everything was very well laid out. Hot tub was amazing!

Cute and cozy, perfect for our one-night stay in Talkeetna.

Nice basic accommodations. No smoke dectors in upper level which was concerning. Beds were ok, but could use an upgrade. Stairway upstairs is very steep and narrow. Hot tub was cloudy.

Rented this beautiful two bedroom cabin for a trip with my husband & my mom. We really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere, but still being located only a very short drive away from the main street full of restaurants, shops, and other tour opportunities. There are some gorgeous hiking trails in the area. It was nice to relax in the hot tub on this property for a little bit after a long day of hiking. The hot tub was well maintained & very clean!

Nice location away from the main part of town, but close enough for convenience. Everything we needed, and then some. Would definitely stay again!

We passed through Talkeetna on our way to Denali. The cabin was a perfect home base for a few nights.

We loved the Talkeetna Log Cabin. My wife and I and our 16 year old granddaughter were perfectly comfortable. We cooked a couple of meals and that was fun. Beds are comfortable and the living space was ample for the three of us. Drew, the owner, was on site and totally responsive. We we definitely stay there again. Steve Berger

Our one overnight was lovely, convenient and comfortable.

Property excellent. Was unable to use the hot tub since it closed at 10 pm. By the time we arrived in town and ate dinner, it was 9:45 pm. Other than that, everything else was great. Beds were comfortable and property clean and well maintained.

Such a great place to get away and hide from the world! perfect walking distance from main drag in Talkeetna - even in winter and below zero temps, as long as you know how to dress, which we did :) Recommended!
