The old time feel of the house is perfect for Gettysburg! The location is right in town. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. I will definitely book this location again on my next trip to Gettysburg!

My cousin came to visit from Oakland, Calif. We decided to visit Gettysburg, as it had been quite a while since he, and we had been to the battlefield and war memorial. A great visit-- the house was extremely convenient, immaculate, and nicely appointed. Everything was exactly as represented.

This is my second stay at this property. Unfortunately, I got sick for a good part of my vacation. I am so glad we chose this home, as even though I was sick, I felt comfortable and warm. The owner is considerate and the property is easily accessible. Great place to spend your time in Gettysburg.

The property was very nice. Easy check in, very clean and comfortable beds. Great location to walk to shop and eat. Nice clean kitchen. We will definitely be back. The civil war books were a great touch. Our family highly recommends!

Everything was exactly as expected, would reccomend for ease and access to Gburg.

Celebrated my husband's birthday with friends. Had a great time, location is great with many restaurants/pubs/stores within short walking distance. Loved hiking the many trails around the battlefield. Would love to visit again in the fall.

We were very pleasantly surprised that the house was even nicer in person than on the listing! We walked to everything, enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and enjoyed catching up in the cozy living room. Great house, will definitely book again!!

The home was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was a welcome respite from the 90+ degree days spent on the battle fields and around town. Walking distance to many attractions and downtown Gettysburg. We enjoyed staying in a historical home close to so much. Thanks for the stay!

This house is very clean and the location in proximity to shopping, eateries and points of interest is perfect. This is our second visit to this home and I would do it again if I ever revisited Gettysburg.

The property was spacious and well appointed. It was also in a great location in Gettysburg - near to the battleground and the downtown area. Should I ever be in the area again, I will definitely rent this home. The only thing I would say to improve it is to give a history of the house - when it was built, who built it, how many lived there, etc. It was of such historical significance, I wanted to know more about it.

It is located in a prime location, close to so many nearby attractions and restaurants. This civil war home made our stay truly unique. We look forward to returning in the future for another stay!

The house was exactly as listed, plenty of room and very clean. I would stay here again.

Sparkling clean historic home with gorgeous woodwork and floors. Lots of room. Small, sweet back deck and yard. The 2 beds were very comfortable. Perfect location for anything you want to do in Gettysburg. The apartment is sparsely stocked so bring extra paper goods if you are staying more than a couple days. The front parlor upholstered living room furniture is showing its age. There was a broken sleeper sofa in the second parlor we were counting on, so had to improvise. Owner was responsive and tried to assist. Overall, we felt fortunate to be staying in the heart of old Gettysburg, and are glad owners make homes like this available to visitors.

This was an incredibly pleasant experience! The rooms were spotless, the location was perfect, the parking was easy and all was an amazing experience. We hope to stay again next year!

Starting with the cons: 1) Half roll of toilet paper, with only one additional roll in the building. Very poor quality TP, almost have to go out of your way to find a toilet paper this useless. 2) No shower soaps/ shampoos. 2 dishwasher packets. Hand soap smelled like hospital. 3) Half roll of paper towels. 4) Pillows provided are pretty uncomfortable. 5) No little extras that most places in the price range normally come with. (coffee, tea, cooking oil etc) *****PROS***** 1)The location is very convenient to anything you would want to do in Gettysburg. 2)The place is impeccably clean and tidy. 3)The apartment is a first floor apartment which is great for older folks who have trouble doing more than 6 stairs.(there is also a separate upstairs unit, I am not talking about that unit in this review) 4) The apartment is spacious, and very cozy. 5) Fully functional kitchen with tea pot, coffee makers, oven stove, full size fridge with freezer, microwave and toaster. OK, so this place is right on the edge of being truly great. It would be a disservice for me not to point out its inexpensive fixes that would catapult it to that level. ***I would without hesitation stay here again, and most likely will in the future*** I DO recommend it. Bring real TP, Paper towels, shampoo body soap, and unless you like hospital scent hand soap, well bring your own nicer smelling hand soap.

We were able to walk much of the time we were in Gettysburg and leave the car behind (much welcome after 5-12hr drives in the week prior to arriving in Gettysburg!) Great ice cream shops nearby! The house/apartment was perfect for our group of 4. Due to unexpected family issues we had to change our travel dates and the owner was very accommodating/helpful in making that happen. The only negative was one chair with soiled/torn upholstery. Certainly not enough of an issue to spoil the stay! We’d definitely return should we find ourselves in Gettysburg again.

Great very clean gorgeous civil war period rental. We stayed here for Gettysburg Christmas Festival. Very close to all the main attractions and within walking distance. Definitely stay again

Wonderful stay in Gettysburg!! Perfect location on Baltimore St within walking distance to restaurants, and local tours. Easy drive to the park. Charming 2 BR, 1st floor apartment offering spacious rooms and accommodations for 2 couples...would definately recommend!! Hostess Tessa was very helpful and available. We are hoping to return in the future!
