My family ended up cutting our stay short after finding multiple roaches. The first one showed up on the air conditioner. We killed it and after looking for others, found a dead one near the doors to the deck. We let the property manager know. They condescending told us that the "cockroaches" are palmetto bugs, which, after a quick Google search, is just another name for cockroach. They made it sound like it was common to come across a cockroach, but assured us that the unit gets sprayed for pests. We decided to just try and rest but I was awokened in the middle of the night to my wife telling me she saw two more cockroaches in the hallway.
We would definitely not stay here again. We were able to get a partial refund for the nights we didn't stay here.

I loved the proximity to Cruz Bay. This was a great place to stay to take day trips around St John and nearby islands. We didn’t rent a car and getting around was easy. The pool is lovely, as is the lanai. St John has some significant energy blackouts during our trip, so the pool provided a great place to cool off.

The property was fully equipped and in great shape with plenty of room for a couple or a larger group. It was nice having access to the pool, beach chairs, grill and laundry.
We stayed during a very hot time by St John standards, and I expect the condo would be more comfortably cooled by breezes if it wasn't so hot, The property is designed for people with a car, as has lots of parking but is not easily walkable to most places, typically 10-15 minutes one way with some really long and steep hills.

The property is exactly as shown. We started our days with coffee on the pool deck over-looking Cruz Bay. Beach chairs, cooler, and beach bag were all provided. We hit the beaches early every day. We returned in late afternoon to de-brief by the pool with other people staying at the condo. Walked to town for dinner and breakfast a couple times.
Would definitely stay here again. Communication with host was excellent. She even mailed a pair of earings to us my daughter had forgotten.

We loved this property. Very comfortable with great wraparound deck with plenty of shade and comfortable seating. There was only a small view of the water at Cruise Bay because the trees below have kind of grown to block the better, but it was plenty for us after a full day at the . The kitchen was perfect size for two people, was well-equipped and the beautiful half-shaded pool was just a few steps outside our door The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated air-conditioning in the bedrooms. we did find the window units to be a little loud but you get used to that. All in all this was a great value, comfortable place to stay, very helpful servicing, with a light touch of live beach bar music every evening (but not too loud). We loved it and would stay here again. We also enjoyed watching the family of large iguanas in the tree below the deck….amazing!

This home is in a really well-kept community with shared laundry, a pool, parking, and great views from the shared pool/deck. The unit itself was clean and spacious, perfect for our family of 3 adults (would work also for 4 adults quite well). The outdoor spaces were well furnished and spacious and the covered area was great on the rainy morning and when the sun was hot, though we were rarely at home during the day.
Unit was exceptionally clean and was well-outfitted with things like fans and extension cords, games, and coolers and beach chairs.
The property owner and manager were outstanding communicators and the entire process was so efficient.
The location is a (albeit hilly) walk to restaurants and entertainment. Driving in St. John has its challenges but if you plan to do more than stay at home or go to Cruz Bay area, you'll want your own vehicle.
Host provided excellent recommendations for activities, dining, and more!
If we return to the island, we will absolutely request this property again!

It’s a nice building, two room place and scenic vistas. I spent little time on the deck but the pool deck is so close and very nice. The pool is very nice but virtually unusable as it’s too cold unheated at this time. The location is up a few steep hills, that worked for us but some may hate it. Very well kept property and they were making updates on our visit.

My family loved our stay here. The unit was exactly as described in the listing. Very comfortable and well appointed. High marks for the inside space, the outside deck space, and the pool shared with the rest of complex. Cynthia was very helpful all along the way. Definitely recommend renting a jeep while you are on the island.

This property is wonderful. It's tucked away with a pool that has a wonderful view of cruz bay & you can hear the live music from the beach bar which I thought was nice. The wrap around porch is key b/c you have a shaded option and seating in the sun. You can walk two different ways into town, each have a large hill which is a good opportunity for exercise, and you don't have to drive after some drinks. The condo has everything you need within the kitchen, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. I would love to come back and stay here again. It was perfect for the 4 of us! So happy that I stumbled across it. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful time at Rainbow’s End. It was well stocked with all the provisions - coolers, sunscreen, beach chairs, etc. It is a short walk to the downtown with shops and restaurants. Be aware that the sounds of the downtown can be heard until late (the beach bar has live music most nights). Closing the windows and turning on the a/c might have cancelled out the noise, but we enjoyed the cool breeze too much to do that :)
Lastly, the views and private patio were amazing. We would definitely return to this property.

Rainbows End was wonderful! The condo had absolutely everything you needed...towels, beach towels, coolers, chairs, noodles and the kitchen was fully stocked with all you needed. My husband and I had the best time in St. John and hope to be back again next year. We would definitely choose Rainbows End again!! Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had fun time staying over 5 days for mid December. Battery hill condominiums are located at close by to the Cruz bay and is very decent location to the town and restaurants. As the location is close to town there was some noise at night from beach restaurant music but it was not that bothering, although all good after 10pm. Parking is available for guests. We liked some of the amenities such as beach chairs, floaters and cooler. It has great Cruz bay views and pool overlooking Cruz bay. Condo rooms are nice and so do the beds. Property is very well managed and Cynthia is wonderful host. She was helpful from day one. Overall amazing property and we would love to come back again.

We rented 3 properties at Battery Hill and Rainbow's End was the gathering spot. The corner deck provides absolutely amazing views and plenty of room for all of us. We loved having both the uncovered and covered desk, as there was a light shower one evening. Communication with the owner was great-no detail was left out. The unit was light and airy and had all of the essentials and a few extras! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about our stay here at Battery Hill. Check in/out was super easy. They kept us informed of everything along the way and gave a bunch of suggestions on dining, hiking and anything else we needed. Close to town so we could walk to all the restaurants/bars and didn't have to worry about parking. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved Rainbow’s End. The large deck was wonderful with an incredible view. It was great to be able to walk to everything. There are a couple of very steep hills that would be difficult for some people. The condo has everything you need including beach chairs, towels and a cooler. The only negative was the lack of central air. There are window units in the bedrooms, but the kitchen/living room was around 84 degrees even with the windows open. We spent so much time either at one of the beaches, in town or on the deck that the heat wasn’t really a problem. Would definitely recommend this condo.

When we were deciding where to rent from, we discussed how at times it is hard to park in Cruz Bay for dinner. We decided to rent from here so we could walk to dinner. I had to laugh because walking to dinner was easy, coming back up the hill took me a little more time!
Unfortunately, my husband had to fly home after 2 days due to an emergency. This condo provided me with two wonderful decks to enjoy eating on, reading, talking to my friends Iggy and Juan (two of many iguanas) that visited each day, a pool that was so relaxing, convivence to town, and a wonderful owner who reached out to make sure I was OK. You can't ask for a better place!

We loved staying at Rainbows End! It had everything we needed and the location was great! The walk to town had some steep hills but we quickly got used to it :) The deck was really nice, we enjoyed breakfast there every morning. I was concerned about 4 adults only one bathroom but it was never a problem. We knew it was going to be a great trip when we saw a double rainbow the very first morning we were there! We would definitely stay here again!

The pictures of the outside space does this area no justice!! Comfortable, be right, breezy and welcoming are a few words I’d use to describe it. The brand new kitchen was a treat for sure! Everything you need is there and if it’s not, the markets aren’t far away! Our only hope is that This treasure is available to us when we make our next trip. Christmas Vacation
Our family stayed at Estate Enighed over Christmas break. The location was perfect as we were able to walk down into Cruz Bay every night for dinner. The unit was quiet and spacious enough for the four of us. We spent most of our time on the large deck overlooking the bay. The host and property manager were very helpful.
