2nd year there. When steps to upstairs get to be too much, there is a main floor bed and bath.

We were all very pleased with the cottage. The location was good as far as walks on the strip. We were disappointed in how much the rock music traveled to the cottage. That was the only negative we experienced. The luxury of a second shower would have been helpful with the adults, but we managed fine. We were especially pleased with how quickly a couple concerns were addressed when we arrived. Our manager was most pleasant and very helpful.

What can i say if your thinking about it do it. Pack a few personal items and go. They provide everything, i mean every thing. Opened the door walked in we were good for the week. Very clean and comfortable.

Love this place not the first time staying here. They have stocked the home wonderfully and it’s well kept. The location is about as good as it gets!! The property manager is so easy to reach she always gets back quickly and the owners are very accommodating.

It was the perfect house for the weekend. Right by the water and in the middle of all the action. Great stay.

It was beautiful and very spacious. We had access to everything we needed and were right in the middle of the good stuff just like it said. Karen was very friendly, responsive and helpful! Definitely will keep in mind for future trips.

We loved the house and the location! Our boys loved swimming at the beach. The house was pretty clean, but I think a new shower curtain liner would be nice. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed every minute of our stay!

This property owner really cares about her guest. The property is perfect for families however it is on the strip so it can get loud. We loved hearing the music and opened our windows. She went out of her way to make sure my teens could reheat there food and got us a microwave ❤️. She is 100 percent the best host we have food.

So glad we could all be together! Really enjoyed staying in the cottage & will stay there again!

Karen’s house was perfect for our family vacation with friends. We stayed for a week mid-August with four adults and four kids ranging from 18 months to 13 years old. The house was in the best location: walk down the road to the private beach (shared with the neighboring houses) or to the strip (the length of a long driveway, not far at all). It was so nice to not have to pack everyone up in the cars to enjoy the lake or the strip. The beach is located down a kind of steep hill so if people in your party have mobility limitations, that is something to consider. The house was super clean when we arrived and the linens were also fresh and clean. The bedrooms were on the small side but the common areas were spacious enough for all 8 of us. Just note that the houses are close together here so if you’re looking for privacy this might not be the rental for you. There weren’t that many people around on the weekdays though, and everyone we ran into was super nice. We were comfortable and felt safe in the location. We had a great vacation here! If we come back to GOTL we would have no problem choosing Karen’s house again.

Karen was an excellent host. She was always available to answer questions and contacted me days in advance to confirm the trip. The property is a great location for all the strip activities. The small, private beach access was perfect for enjoying the lake. The weekend nights were a bit loud with the live music from the strip, but it did not bother us.

Very cute. The online description was on point. The cottage was just steps away from the lake and the strip. It was a peaceful location, within walking distance of cute shops and cafés. We really enjoyed our vacation here.
