Situato nel sud Nags Head abbastanza lontano dal trambusto della 'città', ma abbastanza vicino a tutto per non essere un inconveniente. There is absolutely nothing that I can say negative about this house. Upon our arrival my entire family could not believe how clean this place is. Beautifully renovated and stocked for all needs. The only thing I could suggest to the owners are some shower heads that provide a tad more pressure but this is not something that would change my mind about returning. If you’re looking for a house with lots of space for large parties, this is the one!

Beach house is well situated with nice interior space, seating, and features. It served our 4 generations extended family trip very well. Like all larger ocean front beach houses...it is a fairly big outlay for a weeklong vacation, but one we are willing to make for the convenience of staying oceanfront in a well-appointed house with a pool. To be fair, there is one facet of the house that needs improvement...its beds. The state of the beds and quality of the mattresses do not align with the rest of the experience and what you want with a relaxing vacation. The mattresses and frames are noisy, bunkbeds are tired with broken slats and bowed or broken supports, and the mattresses themselves are tired and concave.
From a comfort standpoint they are about as poor as can be. Folks pay a lot for such a stellar property; having well-maintained beds so folks can both decompress, enjoy the other great amenities the house offers, and sleep comfortably would really make this place a perfect spot.

The location of the house is awesome. It's very close to two piers, the bypass, plenty of restaurants and activities, Manteo, etc. The dune to get to the beach appears recently re-built and is very large, so you have to walk to the public access to the right when leaving the pool area. You can also just use the public access as it's an easier walk. However, the house was filthy upon arrival which the management company sent back a crew the next day to re-clean. The Kiddie Pool looks like it's never been cleaned and appears to have a leak - we avoided it like the plague. One of the middle floor's bathroom showers drains through the sub-floor and into the car-port, so there is definitely some bad plumbing and mold going on throughout. Large pool was fine, but was also dirty - likely due to just being oceanfront and the winds blowing in sand and crud. Carpet is tattered and needs replacing, some electrical outlets don't work in various rooms, some rooms are missing privacy blinds on the sliding glass doors, some of the ceiling fans don't function, and overall the house is in need of some repair. Driveway is tiny, vegetation overgrowing parts of the paved driveway, and hard to park all cars for a big family. We found that we loved the location, but did not care for the house and wouldn't rent it again. We've found other homes are equal or less cost than this house with the same amenities, but other homes are much cleaner and overall a higher quality property. Also, our access code for checkout changed at 9:30am, not the agreed upon 10am per contract, so we were lucky we had someone inside when that happened to open the doors for us so we could continue moving out. Property management is responsive via text message, but only the cleanliness was addressed after reporting a poor condition. We felt the house hasn't received proper attention and the pictures are misleading. Stay somewhere else for the cost. 1 star for condition/cleanliness, 4 stars for location.

Tranquility provided a wonderful week for our 11 person extended family. We loved having easy access to the beach and the convenience of the swimming pool on days when the ocean was rough. The 3rd floor living space provided plenty of room for our family to enjoy meals and quality time together, but plenty of space to spread out in other parts of the home when desired.
We loved the South Nags Head location that is close to Fishheads, Jenette's Pier, and other shops and restaurants.
As other reviewers mentioned, the home is in need of a bit of maintenance in some areas, likely as a result of frequent renter traffic. (i.e. saggy couch throw pillows, extremely tattered door mat at the front entrance, missing decorative tiles in the pool, living room floor damaged) None of these minor items would keep us from renting the home again, and we hope to return in the future!

I searched high and low for a perfect location for our family reunion. This house fit the bill in every way - a lovely home and lots of space, a beautiful view and easily accessible. It's on the beach so sand is inevitably tracked around the house, and we found a few remnants from the prior renters (seemingly a hurried cleaning), but otherwise the pictures accurately show the home. Property Managers were very responsive - brought a new coffee maker, fixed lights, etc. It was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we hope to be back one day!

Well our vacation started out with the ac not working. Was 78 in house at 10:30 pm and 83 outside. They did fix it but it took a day of misery. House was not dusted well. Ants were abundant and a roach. Shower curtains had mold on them. Broken lamp plugged in kids room. Loose rails on deck and board broken on walkway to beach and nails up. Rail loose on bannister in house. Advertised flatscreens in all bedrooms--not true. Website said jacuzzi--not true. Linens wete provided but put on wrong beds. I had to run up and down stairs trying to match sheets with beds. Needed new microwave. Taken care of quickly. Good location. Nice view. Nice house in general. Staff pleasant but different comments on when we could get in house and other issues. Also telephone did not work.

We found this house very nice. The kitchen could use a new dishwasher. All of the dishes were gritty when we arrived. We washed them all but throughout the week we still had problems with the dishwasher not cleaning them very well. Other than that we found this home to be clean and very easy to be in.

The weather was an important factor in our 2015 OBX vacation. Heavy rain with strong winds and blowing sand made it impossible to spend much time on the beach or other outdoor activities, so most of the week was spent inside the house.The home photos made some of the rooms appear larger than they are, but they were all adequate. The dining room table, plus a smaller side table, made it possible for all twelve of our family members to eat together without crowding, and the kitchen worked well for us. We were grateful for that.There were a couple of repairs needed. The biggest was that the rain and wind made water come in around the sliding door to the top deck, which then ran down the wall into the bedroom below. But the management sent a repair person to check it out immediately after we reported it. I'm sure it was fixed as soon as possible aterwards.

My initial walk through of the home was pleasant at first. I was happy with the cleanliness. As I progressed through the home, I noticed that there was a cabinet door missing from the kitchen. It looked bad. In addition to the missing cabinet door, there were other cabinet doors that did not shut properly because the hinges were loose. Also,the AC is controlled by two units--one for upstairs and one for mid and lower levels. The upstairs unit stopped working on Sunday--24 hours into our stay. Beach Realty was responsive and brought two window units for the upper level, one for the master bedroom, and one for the living room. The window units helped, but I had to call again on Monday to request a third window unit to help keep the upstairs bearable. We received another window unit on Tuesday. This was fine because I did not make the request for an additional unit until 4PM on Monday. Personnel came out to assess the inoperable unit. It was made clear to me that the unit needed to be replaced. I was left with the impression that the unit should have been replaced some time ago. Personnel did come out mid-week to replace the unit. On Monday, we had a family meal with 11 people. We were delighted to have a dish washer and loaded it with the rinsed dishes. Sadly, we had to unload it and hand wash the dishes because the dish washer didn't work. I did not call about this since I felt like I was spending more time on the phone or in person addressing issues with the house than with my family. The bottom line is that we had a nice time and made the best of our stay. The house is really lovely, but it needs attention. I would suggest regular maintenance check-ups to avoid disappointing your renters who are spending this kind of money. We love Nags Head; however, we will move on in our search for a home rental. Paying $11,000 for this house was our mistake.

This was the 2nd year out of 13 years, that we did not take our motorcycle down for the OBX bike week. We decided this year to just relax, and get out and enjoy the sites, shopping, and great food. This year my oldest brother and sister in law stayed. They really needed this little trip to unwind. This home really lives up to it name, "tranquility." I would like to say a big thank you to the property management and the owner. I will not rent from any other rental company, except Beach Realty of NC Inc. This home has plenty of room and everything a family could/or needs for the greatest stay ever. This home is just like being in your own home, but with the beach at you door.

Beach Realty were very professional and kind. I have rented homes from them for the past 25 years. This home is beautiful and spacious. Rooms were clean and towels and linens were provided. Kitchen is somewhat small for the number of persons that could actually stay and is poorly stocked with pans/pots and tupperware for left overs. Our family and friends loved the location and the pools were beautiful. One concern is that the pool needs to be cleaned a few times during the week, rather than only after tenants leave on Sunday. We had sand in both pools all week long. I understand the owner is in charge of the pool cleaning and hires out for this. The gentleman who came to test the ph refused to clean it for us,[he would have done it for $45 out of our pocket] flooded the hot tub, and was very rude. The owner needs to be aware of this!We had a wonderful week with family and friends, and would rent this home again. Thanks for a great week at the beach.

Pros - Great Location, Overall Clean, Management Easy to work with, Awesome view. I would stay again and recommend to others.Cons - Foosball table - Awful, not flat at all, cant even use...I would not expect top quality in a rental but this might as well of not even been there, just taking up space.2) There was no indoor Jacuzzi tub as advertised.3) Flat screens and DVD players were not in every bedroom as advertised4) Deck had several nails sticking out. My 3 year old stubbed his to it is black and blue...this is something that needs fixed ASAP.5) While property was clean, there were several bugs...ants, flies, and I also noted a couple roaches. This is part of the climate and to some extent unavoidable but it was more than I expected.

One queen bed broken, rental agency sent repairman to nail it back together and put plywood board under mattress to keep from sagging; electrical outlets in kitchen not working; no instructions for operating old-style TV w/three remotes in the living room with volume button missing; ice maker in kitchen refrigerator not working. Rental agency said they would send someone to inspect but neve did. The house has real potential, but the rental agency is not treating the owners well by not addressing issues and notifying owner of needed repairs and replacements.

An awesome first trip to the Outer Banks with friends, including 5 children ages 9-15. Despite cooler than usual weather and high winds, we all had a wonderful getaway and soaked up lots of sun and relaxation. The home was great accommodations for our group of 9 and could have fit many more. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped with whatever you may need and very clean. Watching the sunrise and the multiple greetings from dolphins was a favorite for all. The proximity to shopping and activities was great. The house is "tired" and in need of some general maintenance (peeling or stained paint inside, badly worn deck boards that were a cause for many splinters, most of the hot tub jets don't work and neck cushions are gone, dirty baseboards with missing trim or caulking.) None of these issues were a reason for us to wish we had chosen a different home but should be addressed before they get far worse. The app is easy to use and helpful for common issues and questions, however, it would be nice if once a maintenance request was submitted, there was some sort of received acknowledgment and estimated repair schedule. My only complaint/criticism is that none of the maintenance reports or requests were repaired, despite selecting immediate repair through the app. A short trip to Duck, NC was lots of fun walking the boardwalk, shopping, and eating donuts on a stick. The sand dunes just down the road at the State Park were our favorite adventure along with several laps at the Full Throttle go-kart track.

The beach view from this home is excellent and location is very convenient. It is however a bit run down. There was one particular place in the floor that you were a afraid to step on - probably water damage but it felt very insecure. The sheets were fine but the bedding was a bit sparse especially for the fall, and one quilt and pillow sham had some bad stains on it. We left the kitchen cleaner than we found it.

Great location. I rented this place with 2 other families and what a fun time we had. Plenty of space and what a location. It was the first time visiting Nags head for all of us and we had a great time. No problem with the stay at all. We never had to contact the property management for anything.

Overall, we had a great time. However, the house could use some attention. The sliding glass doors were not very clean, we kept finding crickets in the lower level, the rails on the steps leading to the beach kept giving people splinters, the flood light for the pool didn't have bulbs installed, and the jets in the hot tub did not work. The layout of the house is very nice and it is a great location.

Our multigenerational family group included 5 adults and six children including a toddler and a baby. The plentiful bedrooms gave us flexibility to accommodate older and younger kids. Access to the beach was easy, and the pool was a delightful alternative (and plenty warm enough). Other reviewers mentioned steep stairs, but the stairs seemed normal to us. House was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. Would definitely stay here again!

You really get the best of all worlds at this house. Secluded location but only minutes to all shopping. Waking up to the view of the ocean from the 3rd floor kitchen/living area and deck, is priceless. Beds were super comfortable. Everything worked and house was spotless on move-in. The screen door to top deck was a little sticky (ocean air) but we left a little bottle of WD40 which did the trick. We were concerned about the public beach parking right next door, but we never noticed a soul. LOVED this house.

Nice that it is Oceanfront, and a relatively quiet area of Nags Head. Heat was working well given we were there during early spring so evenings were cold. Close to Fatboyz ice cream, Jeanette's Pier, short drive to some good local food places. Don't love that public beach access is right next to the house but it was fine given we were there during non-peak season.
Kitchen area could use some sheer blinds in the big half circle window to block some direct sunlight. Can see how the top floor would be super hot in the summer. Outdoor steps leading up to the middle level door are in bad need of repair and maintenance. Bunk bed ladders were all loose, picnic table bench seat was completely wobbly and unusable on the top deck. Kitchen could use some supplies such as a can opener, a muffin tin. Place could have been cleaner, saw some ants & cockroaches. Didn't like that the pool was left completely uncovered all winter.
Overall it was a good escape for us simply because it has been so long since we were able to go anywhere or do anything but I wouldn't rent this place again without some maintenance and repair. It worked for us in a pinch.

Friendly staff and easy to work with. We’ve stayed with a handful of rental companies over the last 20 years and Beach Realty made the process smooth and easy. There was an issue with the thermostat and within 30 minutes, a Beach Realty employee was at our house and ready to fix it. House has a nice view and great location. We were surprised by the cleanliness of the home. Baseboards were dirty and the kitchen did not appear to be cleaned well. We were very disappointed at the selection of cookware and utensils. There weren’t even spatulas. I would suggest the homeowners invest in some rubber utensils as the use of metal forks/spoons while cooking can scratch pans. Beds were not comfortable and had boards under the mattresses to help prevent sagging as they were likely well worn and in need of replacement. All in all we made the best of it. Nags Head is our home away from home and we’ve never had a bad vacation.

The house had a GREAT location. The check-in and checkout process was easy as well as reservation process. The description of the property was accurate. The only issue I had was that I did leave a message for the office through the app at check-in as well as through email to let them know that a large percentage of the lightbulbs were out in the house; however, I received no response during my stay. I did speak with them on the phone after departure and relayed that message again. Staff was very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend the property and property management company. This house was near Jeannette's Pier, plenty of shopping and restaurants.
